Squeeze In is a super cute local chain. The service is generally good even when it's hectic. When it's a little slower to might hear them singing or acting ridiculous and they encourage others to sing along. Bring a Sharpie to leave your make on their walls... It's ok, they encourage it. Their breakfast menu offers everything you can imagine. They've narrowed it down in recent years but everyone can find something yummy. I generally order the Stephs Mess... I wished their proportions of eggs to other things was more balanced but I still order it. They have side sauces by request... They used to advertise them but I don't see it anymore. I get the mushroom sauce..... Soooooo good. The home fries are good, chunky and not greasy. You can get them Otis style with cheese and onions... I prefer mine plain. The Biscuits and Gravy are good... Nothing spectacular... Maybe a little bland. So many other things are creative so I'm surprised they haven't amped them up. Still i love them. read more

I am giving this place a 3 star due to the insanely expensive prices. That aside, I enjoyed the food and the service. I wanted an omlette but was recommended to get the one I wanted as a scramble. It was very tasty with onion, green chili's & jack cheese topped with avacados. It also came with refried beans on the side. If I ordered the omlette, all that would have been wrapped inside. My problem with the omlette was too much onion. I love onion but this was almost more onion than egg and not a lot of green chili's. Still delicious though and the portion of potatoes I received was huge. I also ordered a Bloody Mary that was hands down the best Bloody Mary I have had.... and I have had a lot. Service was very good. Although it took about 20 minutes to be seated and about 15-20 mins to get the food I was happy. One of the people in my party ordered the Club on Sour Dough and he said it was one of the best. All in all, we were happy. Also, although they don't do reservations per say, you can call ahead to get your name on the waiting list which is really nice. read more

I'd give this a 3.5* if i could: Good omelettes, good service (thank you, Sebastian for putting our names down over the phone while we hurriedly drove from Peg's to your restaurant after being told we had to wait 30 mins there- you have no idea how hungry we we were and how much we appreciated it!), big portions but fairly expensive for being in a strip mall in Reno We got a pitcher of mimosa, which was much-needed after the NYE's party from the night before. I ordered the Racy Tracy from a friendly and efficient server Racy Tracy: - Omelette with mushrooms, avocado, cheese and bacon, with a side of tomato pesto (VERY yummy) and friend potatoes (yum!) The portions were huge, but $12 for an omelette in Reno...was expensive, IMO. I walked out paying $22 (with tax and tip) for my Racy Tracy + my share of Mimosa (2 glasses) + Coffee. This is even more than what i usually spend for b'fast in SF! read more

I highly recommend the Garth breakfast sandwich! Yum! I also love the potatoes that come on the side, and I get some cheese sauce for them. I agree with others that this place is a bit on the pricey side. The breakfast sandwich mentioned above is about $10. But if you join their "club" you get a free birthday meal and reqards points with you use your rewards card that will get you free future meals. read more

This is a great place to eat in the North West Reno Area. I think that their Breakfast menu is a lot more complete compared to their lunch menu. I started going to this Squeeze In Chain in Truckee. I thought they were overprice and breakfast was a bit of my disposable income level when I lived in Truckee. The original location was kind of small. I wasn't a huge fan of this chain back a few years ago, but today my opinion has changed. I find this Reno location to be a decent place to get lunch or breakfast. I think they offer gourmet meals at an affordable costs. They offer a free meal for your birthday, which is nice. read more

After the Ballon Races E-Dawg, H-Man, and me went for our traditional breakfast- we had thought about Archie's but if I'm not drinking, why would I go to a bar? So we chose this instead, I was hoping they had outdoor seating... We became members of their Eggheads program and were able to take advantage of the Early Bird menu from 7-8, don't know when I'll EVER be awake that early when I'm not going to work and actually be headed out for BF again but it was worth it. If I was drinking, I would have tried the mimosa, but alas... Best 2eggs in Reno! Asked for the pots crispy and they ACTUALLY WERE!! Not just with a few deep fried cracklins' thrown on top - I mean EVERY potato was CRISP. E-Dawg got the biscuits and gravy half order for everyone to share and it was plenty. Plus - hula hoops for the kids to play with?! Awesome. Next time I might try an omelette but just wasn't feeling it. The little monster inside of me wanted an English Muffin and crispy potatoes, and S.I. delivered. THX, we'll be back!! read more

So I've been to Squeeze many a time, even the original in Truckee CA back in the day. While the food IS good, even great at times, breakfast should never cost that much. Often crowded, a small orange juice will run you at least an arm. Dishes weren't exactly spotless and had residue on the cups and some of the silverware. Hostess was not to be found at her station upon entrance more than a few times. Upon receiving the bill one day for two I made the joke to the waitress "I didn't want to buy the place!"...needless to say, she was not amused even the slightest. Service is alright, but due to how busy it is what can you expect. If you do plan on going, get the home fries, they are very good. On a final note, any place Guy Fiere goes to is NOT that amazing, but the locations do sure get a surge from being on the show. read more

I have heard good things about this place. So I have been here.. I think 3 times so far. They do have a big menu of omelettes. I tried different omelettes each time and it was ok. But nothing really stands out. Once I had one with shrimp and shrimp was not fresh at all. Then, I tried one with banana and cinnamon.. (quite heavy for breakfast but oh well, wanted to try) It was different, that's all I can say. And I tried the one with spinach, mushroom, and something. It was ok overall. I had better than this, let's put it that way. They have fun decor and very friendly staff for sure, but not the best food for the price. read more

Best Breakfast in Reno! Fantastic breakfast with excellent service and great atmosphere. They have a really nice menu with lots of choices, including a large number of vegetarian options which are clearly marked. All in our party had omelets. Every one of them was cooked perfectly, and was absolutely delicious. The omelets come with bottomless toast, potatoes and your choice of side sauce. Between us, we tried all three of the sauces. All were good, but our hands down favorite was the tomato pesto - YUM! Upgraded to the "otis" potatoes. Just he right amount of cheese and onion - awesome. Tip - Check out the Squeeze In phone App for discounts and specials! read more

First morning of major road trip Sebastopol CA to Sydney MT finds us at the South Reno Squeeze in. An incredible place to start vacation. Party atmosphere at 9:00am! Extensive menu and a mighty fine Bloody Mary. The garnish alone could qualify as public art. I'm eating the Biggest Little Omelette. It has plenty of "shrimp" which turn out to be good sized prawns, and about half an avocado on top. I think I've got a dozen prawns here. The omelette, potatoes are NOT over salted like so many restaurant meals these days, so I'm free to season to my taste. Our table also has chilaquiles and the beautiful Bonnie sandwich. No complaints from that side of the table (and they are oh, so picky at times. I'll see if I can attach photos. A perfect start to a 3600 mile drive. read more

I usually visit the Sqeeze in in Truckee so I was blown away that the quality and the character were the same. The staff is always fast and friendly and the food is amazing, Good old fashioned comfort breakfast/lunch with a crazy kick! I love places that develop a local following and by looking around and hearing some of the conversations you can tell this is where friends come time and time again to enjoy a good cup of joe and a great mouth watering plate of food. YUMMY!! See you there:) read more

We were invited by someone to eat breakfast here. I would never pay to eat here myself. Over priced awful food! I've eaten better food at Dennys. The only good thing about this place is the wait staff. read more

This was my first time dining at Squeeze In, and what a delight it was!!!! We arrived very late morning and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Ian was our waiter and what a good waiter he is! He is very efficient, knowledgeable of menu, great personality and very professional. That's a great start. The menu is a novel itself. So many choices with a lot of thought put into the dish AND the name the description of the dish. Very clever. The decor is eclectic and funky and oh so cool!! What a good way to use all that garage sale stuff. Now, the food..... OVER THE TOP GOOD!! This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Reno!! I will be back often. read more

Wow, I saw this restaurant on Throwdown with Bobby Flay and thought that I should try it out if I ever made it back to Reno. I'm so glad I remembered it. We had the Racy Tracy omelete and stuffed french toast. It was delicious! The hashbrowns (otis style) were yummy. Excellent service, funky vibe, wonderful food. Not what you'd expect in a strip mall. This is a must go! read more

I really don't like breakfast. Ask any of my friends or family: the idea of breakfast makes me gag. When I came to Squeeze In, I was planning on only drinking my share of mimosas. But once seated in this adorably quirky restaurant, I found myself ordering a side of fruit and garlic cheese toast. Believe me, for me, that's a lot of food for breakfast. The mimosas were excellent and strong (check out the 2 for 1 deal!), my toast was delicious, and the fruit was excellent. I couldn't ask for anything more with breakfast. read more

RACIST waiter today on Easter Sunday. Joining the waiting list early today on 4/4, I checked in at 11am with the hostess and informed that I had joined the waiting list. I was informed that I'd still be about a 15 minute wait, which I didn't mind after getting notified 10 minutes after arriving via text that our table was ready. Food was great, my friend and I ordered the Spanish Flay. After eating and talking for about an hour and 15 minutes once I finished paying and giving a 20% gratuity, the server comes and says that "he has to kick us out" without any explanation. My common sense tells me that it was Easter Sunday and they have a line of one to two groups of people waiting to be seated, which I understand but the fact that they don't let you know that upfront or at least give you a warning is unfathomable. They mentioned that they have a time limit thats on the dining table but our table had no taped on notification with the time limit they had for that day and all I got was a apology that it wasn't taped on our table. The most ironic part and the one that really truly bothers me the most is that the surrounding patrons that got seated at the same time as us was not told to leave or that their time had run out - mind you these patrons were predominantly white. Being a person of color - hispanic and my friend being black the waiter saw us as easy bait to advise to leave versus the other patrons who were white. I've been here plenty of times and rave about Squeeze In but at this point it should be known as Squeeze Out as thats what they do to people of color. Not recommending this place any longer after this experience. read more

Very Tasty Breakfast - everything we had was great and unique. I'd give 4 stars, but the price just kind of reduces the rating - A couple dollars too high - I don't mind paying 9 or 10 bucks a meal, but not 12-15 for breakfast. I had the "Racy Tracy" as seen on TV, didn't quit live up to the TV Hype, but pretty good. Family had a few other dishes all looked great. Very nice servers. --RibChamp read more

As captain of Team Rainbow Happy Pants it is with great pleasure to annouce that Squeeze In will be a frequent stop for us in the future. The service was great as was the environment and of course the food. The photo of the bloody mary laced with bacon and grilled cheese got us there, then ironically, not a single member of Team Rainbow Happy Pants purchased one because we were all squirred by the many other amazing menu options. One of the few places were I do not have to pay extra to eat my weight in potatoes!!! More truthfully, I appreciated the debt and variety available through the menu. Though busy and clearly popular, the entire staff was patient and attentive, the food arrived in a timely manner and every bite was delicious. I wish the Women's National Bowling Tournament went to Reno every other year instead of every three years. -Lani Morris Captain: Team Rainbow Happy Pants 2018 read more

wow, this place was crowded! granted it was a sunday morning and there were probably more people after throwdown aired (which was the reason we knew about thisp lace), but what was nice was that we called in about 15 min before we arrived to put our name on the list and only had to wait about 10 min before we were seated. we stopped by reno to drop someone off at the airport, so this was the perfect place to grab some breakfast. they were super friendly and handled all our requests with a smile (we were in a rush for our friend to make his flight). the food did take a little while to come out, but when it did i was pretty impressed with the portion size. the potatoes were really yummy and i love really cheesy omelettes, and mine had ample cheese. i got the racy tracy but added tomatoes bc i felt it needed some more veggies, and loved what the bacon added to it! i would recommend the mushroom sauce over the tomato pesto, mostly bc the tomato pesto tasted like marinara sauce and i'm not as big a fan. not sure if quality is really that amazing (spoiled living in the bay area) but overall a good place to go! read more

wheelchair accessible & they accomodate food allergies -could there be a more perfect restaurant! they treat each diner like a best friend and the food is really good. outdoor seating during the warm months. a great selection of omelettes & the OJ is fresh!! the price makes the restaurant a place to splurge, but what could be better?! portion sizes are big & they will let you split the plate w/your guest for a few extra $$. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Reno. It really is the happiest place on Earth, the atmosphere is bright and cheery and I've never seen an unhappy customer (or employee)!! The staff is willing to make any accommodation and they work as a team to make sure everyone has a pleasant dining experience. The wait has gotten shorter since the S. Reno location opened, which is good for us who live in the NW! As far as the food goes, we try to get a different omelette every time but it's impossible to remember what you've had, there's a ridiculous amount of options on the menu! Props to the staff for memorizing them all! The mimosas are delicious here, and they're served in big, fun glasses that just add to the whole happiest-place-in-the-world experience that is Squeeze In! We've brought any friends in who haven't been before, and they're always impressed. Once you start coming here, there is no going anywhere else! read more

Went again this morning. Remains a solid "go to" for breakfast. Haven't found anything better yet. Branched out and didn't have an omelet. Tried the biscuits and gravy, which was just a tad heavy on the rosemary in the gravy. Otherwise, good stuff. Wife enjoyed the pancakes with banana. Service is very good. It's obvious there's a house rule for the staff that if you see something, do it. While our waitress took our order, we had an endless parade of other servers who did whatever was needed (coffee refills, dirty plates, ringing the bill, etc.). Overall: Recommended read more

I'm not a huge fan of breakfast foods, but I must say that they've changed my mind on this. I haven't tried any of their omelets, but I do enjoy their stuffed french toast, pancakes, and potatoes. Happily waited for an incredibly long time but thought it would be worth it. When we were sat, the place was not as clean as you would like to see it during a pandemic. Also, I witnessed an employee named Cody berate an guy with a service animal even after the guy showed the dogs certification. All around shockingly unprofessional and I was surprised to see how much that employee did not mesh with the usually kind and inviting environment. read more

What a fantastic little place for breakfast. Squeeze In, they do cook up some excellent breakfast food. And, they also have two of the most pleasant of Servers possible ("Sheila, and Olivia") just waiting there with their sweet smiling faces to serve you. The entire wait staff of Squeeze In are very attentive to the dining needs of the customer, it's apparent that they're all working very hard to assure that you do have yourself/yourselves a very pleasant dining experience. Warning: Do bring your best appetite, because they do give you 'more than your normal share' of good tasting food. It's so good (and abundant) that I definitely took some home. Please do get there early, because they do close at 2 (two) p.m. read more

I don't normally give out two-star ratings, but I was pretty unsatisfied with my experience here. It was after watching the Dawn Patrol take off at the Balloon Races when my friends and I decided to go to Squeeze In. I have never been to a Squeeze In in Reno, so I was pretty excited to go despite getting only 4 hours of sleep. Our waiter was nice, but I was getting incredibly annoyed (especially because I was tired and, therefore, cranky) with how long our food was taking to arrive. For example, people who ordered after us had received their food before us. And when our food did arrive, my friend next to me even complained that his food had gone cold. Hearing that shocked me because I thought this place would have been better than I expected. I suppose the food sort of made up for it. I say "sort of" because some of my food was a little cold as well. I ordered the Huevos Montana. I liked it because it was a Mexican dish, and I am fond of Mexican cuisine. I don't know if they were under-staffed this morning or something, but I hope they can do better if I decide to come back another time. read more

Went here two weekends ago with my BF on a Sunday (late morning) for the first time! I had seen your restaurant on Throwdown with Bobby Flay and LOVE a good breakfast! The wait wasn't too bad for how busy it was, but I was a little disappointed that we were quoted 10 minutes and waited 30, but like I said it was a busy morning and I felt like the food was worth it. Loved the atmosphere and close knit feeling of the whole joint! The food was amazing, I had the Veggie Eggs Benedict and my BF had the French Dip. I really enjoyed the potatoes (my fave) and the Hollandaise sauce was on point. I wish I could remember which beverage I had, but that was delicious too! While I really enjoyed myself, this isn't the place I'd make my weekly breakfast trip, just because things were a bit on the pricier side. That being said, when I'm feeling like treating myself and dropping $60 on breakfast for two, I'll be back. Can't wait to try the Spanish Flay! read more

A group of us came out for a birthday brunch; the atmosphere is fun and eclectic. Three of us ordered omelettes and one of us got the benedict. I judge hollandaise harshly and still manged to give it the stamp of approval(needed a touch more acid though). The plates were more than big enough to allow us to leave fat and happy...and we aren't exactly light eaters. read more

I love this restaurant! It actually changed my life, as it was here that I discovered that blue cheese is awesome and that I had been wasting my time eating other cheeses. I don't really ~do breakfast food, so my choice here is the Cobb Salad! The bacon is crispy and perfect, the vegetables are fresh and the blue cheese is to die for. The garlic toast that comes with the dish is also fantastic and crisp. Squeeze In also provided some catering for me, and their sandwiches are lovingly-made and hearty! Plenty of great vegetarian options too. And, although I don't do breakfast, I DO do alcohol, so let me speak for a moment about Squeeze In's awesome mimosas. It's just not brunch without mimosas, and theirs are truly amazing. They come in large, regal goblets and are strong. Plus, they have a deal if you buy two at once... So, go for it. Finally, the decor is adorable and the staff is fun, friendly and helpful! Cannot say enough good things about this local business. read more

Squeeze In is an okay breakfast joint. It took several minutes for someone to acknowledge us. I'm usually not in a hurry, but I felt ignored. I ordered a mimosa (after unlocking it as a FourSquare free special, then noticed much later they charged me for it). I'm searching for the perfect plate of biscuits and gravy. Well, I sadly say, I'm still searching. The biscuits were okay, they were a bit too cake-y, and absolutely drowned in gravy, the proportion was way off. The gravy was more starchy and less creamy than I like. It was good, but not great. I know this is a funky institution, and I admire a place that is different and fulfilling someone's dream, but the writing on the walls is disturbing and disorderly. It looks unkempt, even though the place is very clean. Solid breakfast place, though, my husband enjoyed his omelet. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes!! The bloody Mary with bacon. OMG! !! Was it amazing. You have to get it! !! I had a buzz leaving this place, but I also had a mimosa. : p The tables were all different, they have great decors, just random things everywhere, hanging on the ceiling, people write all over the walls. I had a bacon eggs benedit. With loaded potatoes Can't remember what exactly was in it but I was so good. Be ready to wait, I went to one of their locations near my hotel and they had a line out the door. Then I came to this one side it was on the way home and we also waited about 20 mins. But! It was so worth it. Patio seating. Great workers, they all help each other. Great team players.
