Certain restaurants have more of an assembly line quality to them, where the food isn't really cooked by someone with skill but rather it's someone with lesser cooking skill just assembling a meal. The food at this restaurant seems that way. One dish we had was the Chef's Fried Rice. You could tell there was a premade batch of base fried rice to which they added some meat at the bottom of the plate and then put a scoop of the base rice on top. It clearly wasn't all fried together in a wok like most restaurants would do. Order a different fried rice and get different meat at the bottom of the plate with a scoop of the same base fried rice poured on top. The pho was also like a base soup which could go any number of directions depending on what the customer ordered. Pho is just the rice noodles added to the bowl plus the combination of meats that the customer ordered. Just pour the broth on top of all that and that's your bowl of pho. Unlike a pho you would find in a big city pho place you could tell it wasn't based on a typical pho broth made of beef, but maybe mostly less expensive and more easily sourced chicken or pork bones. Big city or small city, perhaps that's no excuse for not having a characteristic pho broth since we frequent the single pho restaurant in the mid-Columbia River Gorge area (with a fraction of the population) and its broth is spot on with the characteristic beefy pho flavor. The food here did satisfy the need for a decent meal. Our order of pho was wrong but it was quickly corrected. Service here was good. read more

Have ordered to go and dine in multiple times. Have tried different items on the menu and haven't had one bad meal. Service is hit or miss but that's pretty common in this area. Mainly go there for the food not the service or atmosphere. read more

I have enjoyed the order online feature for this restaurant for when we are out & about. I've used it 3-4 times before-always adding a decent tip. Today we ordered 2 kids pho ($9 dollars each + 1.00 to add protein beef), and adult pho, and pad thai. Once I got home I was very surprised to see how much meat was added to the kids portion (extra charge for beef) . For $10.00 it came with broth, noodles, and small couple pieces of beef. Kids pho was a rip off-should have just ordered an adult pho and split it as it would have been cheaper and much more protein. We will not be ordering from here again-would rather call in and speak to someone in person and get what we want from the Pho place we enjoy. read more

We are visiting and fortunately stumbled on this wonderful restaurant last night. The shrimp spring rolls, with perfectly balanced and tasty peanut sauce, were fresh and loaded with shrimp, fresh lettuce, carrots, cucumber. We had 2 different noodle bowls and the grilled chicken was delicious and the abundant vegetables made for a healthy meal. The waiter was efficient, friendly, and kind. read more

We were some of "Li's" first customers when she opened Spring Lotus fifteen years ago. She and her sister helped to make their mother's restaurant one of the finest in Wenatchee, and both sisters opened their own restaurants thereafter. So it's no surprise that Spring Lotus is the signature restaurant in Wenatchee for Thai and Vietnamese faire. Li's original vision of "Asian Fusion" has given way to the time-honored entrées of several cultures--the best curries, Thai noodles, rice stir-fries, Pho soups, spring rolls, and wraps. We stopped for lunch last Thursday at the request of our granddaughter, Brenda. This is her favorite food and her favorite restaurant. Did I say "Spring Rolls?" (see pics) The spring rolls at Spring Lotus are huge, amazingly fresh, and are a full meal unto themselves. The peanut sauce is the best I've ever eaten. Four of us shared one order. If you come to Spring Lotus, Spring rolls have to be one of your choices. We also ordered the Drunken Noodles and the Crab Rangoons. They have the slowest service for ordering online and will easily have you standing waiting 10-15 minutes past the "pick up" time they give. I ordered JUST spring rolls and had to wait 20 minutes over my pickup time because "their spring roller went on break" I'm sorry what???? At that point just give me the stuff and I'll do it myself because it cannot be so hard that only one person of the entire staff can do it read more

Came here for dinner and had a nice time. The inside of the restaurant has gorgeous murals, and the staff was super friendly! I really enjoyed my beef ball pho and would also highly recommend their spring rolls. We got one shrimp and one chicken, and they both were delicious. read more

I was really craving some good pho, and the place I usually go, VN Pho, was closed, so we tried Spring Lotus instead. We started with the fried egg rolls. Super yummy! Then my daughter ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken, spice level 4, and I got the beef pho. The Drunken Noodles were amazing! And the 4 was a perfect spice level. Lots of heat, but not blow your taste buds out heat-you could still taste the food. The veggies were fresh, and the noodles were cooked well. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the pho. The broth was bland and not very flavorful. I was able to improve it with hoisin and chili oil, but the broth is the best part of pho, you know? Otherwise it's just a noodle soup. We will definitely be back for the drunken noodles and to try some other menu items, but I won't order the pho again. Next time the pho craving hits I'll go to VN or even Mai Lee Thai across the river. Even so, I'll give this place 4 stars because 2 out of 3 items ordered were amazing, and the service was quick and friendly. read more

All the waitresses have been wonderful. This place has good flavors in their dishes except for one thing... . The only issue we've had over and over and over again, it's literally every time and we've been here a good 20+ times. When you as for spicy level 5, or any spice at all, they put ZERO spice...EVERY TIME. Honestly we just need to go somewhere else to get the spice flavor I personally like, a true Thai spice. Their way to fix it is to bring out dried chile flakes. It's not the same when you are adding the spice after cooking. The dried spices need to be cooked in the dish to enhance all the Thai flavors. I've even asked the waitresses upon ordering to tell the cook to make the dish a true spicy level. And of course, Zero spice when I get it. Why have a spice rating or ask how spicy we want it if it doesn't happen, ever? read more

They recently added bahn mi sandwich to their menu! I think this might be the only place in the whole Wenatchee Valley that serves bahn mi. I had the tofu version (they have meat options as well). It totally hit the spot. Very classic ingredients. I will definitely be coming back here for the sandwich. I also like their spring rolls. This is a good vegetarian friendly place. read more

I've been eating here with my family for a couple years now and the food is amazing but the service is horrible. We waited for nearly an hour for our food once we sat and put our order in, pretty sure the waitress completely forgot to send our order to the kitchen and if she ever did, there was a mile of take out orders that must have called putting our order way to the back of the line. We needed to go and asked that our food be packed up to take home and we never saw it...we had to be back at home to relieve our baby sitter so we literally just walked out. Something I wouldn't ever do but how much longer can you wait? We felt like they completely forgot about us. Unfortunate since they have great food but this isn't the first time we've gone there and experience poor service this time was just extraordinarily inconvenient. read more

This is a little gem of a find in Wenatchee. It is located behind Target and easy to miss. So if you find it, stop by and grab a meal. The food is fresh and authentic. I really liked the Spring rolls, the garlic chicken and the curry. The spring rolls are filled with fresh ingredients and have that great crunch with a savory peanut sauce. The garlic chicken was a blind try, and did not disappoint! I like the chicken because it was crispy and light, with a flavorful sauce. The service was fast and friendly, and they were busy pretty much the entire time we were there. read more

I always try places twice because sometimes there is an off day. The service was great and the ambiance was nice. I had the orange chicken which was soggy with some pieces and very hard inedible with others. There was way to much sauce in general. The chicken was sparse most of it was just batter. The garlic crispy chicken like the orange chicken was rock hard and mostly batter. I am guessing they use a pre made frozen chicken product. The pho lacked balance and depth. Unlike competitors there were very few vegetables. The chefs fried rice was great and tasty. All said my family and I thought it was subpar for the cost of the food. One oddity is trying to access the menu online what a nightmare. Their website has a PDF of the menu that only leads to a dead link. The photo of a menu that someone took worked. All said for my family and I we will not be returning. We found for the value and quality a nearby competitor was far superior. read more

I went here with family after long road trip to visit Leavenworth to see beautiful Christmas light town. We had Combo pho, Combo bbq grill rice plate, and Drunken noodle. They are tasty with affordable price (range $10-13/each). Big portion of food. Will definitely go back again of I were in town. read more

My wife and I have been going to Spring Lotus since it opened. Everything was always cooked correctly and tasked great. Last night we went there and it was like going to a different restaurant. The server was new to us and was very pleasant and competent. The food on the other hand was another story. I don't know if they changed chefs or tweaked their recipes, but the food was terrible. The presentation of the shrimp dish was not a pretty site and the shrimp was dry and tough. The garlic sauce didn't come close to resembling what I was used to. My wife's chicken was also extremely dry and left a bad after taste. This review was difficult to write and we're not certain if we'll be going back. read more

The food was great as we've experienced many times before, but the service was marginal and disorganized. Our orders came out incorrectly for 2 out of 4 dinner orders. 1 meal wasn't even prepared until after the other 3 were served and half eaten and it was still incorrectly made with chicken rather than vegetables. 1 other meal was missing the tofu ordered. All this could just be a tough night but not once was there an "I'm so sorry" or any sign that they even cared. No part of the meal was comped and nothing extra was done They just didn't care one way or the other. There new policy is an extra charge for using a credit card. A nice, Vietnamese experience with good food and service, with an American ease. Nice, clean and airy interior for lunch or dinner for around 40 people. Pho was good but the experience was less than authentic. There was Hoisin, Sriracha and chili oil on the table. The Pho setup came without jalapeños but when asked, our server brought a bowl. The meal was also absent of chopsticks. Sure a fork is easier but that's not the authentic feel. Big spring rolls had more filler than needed but value for the price. Spring Lotus is a good option for Vietnamese but there's better, more authentic in Wenatchee. read more

Very beautiful place to eat at! Wall decorations don't look the prettiest, but the presentation and perfection of the meal is amazing! Orange chicken actually tastes like orange!. The rice tastes fresh. Rice is the biggest thing I like, and a lot of places around Wenatchee serve rice that tastes stale, or presentation wise looks bad. But this place, everything about the food is amazing. I ordered garlic chicken, it wasn't overbearing with garlic, my initial worry. Other than the waitress being a little busy with a lot of customers, we got our food first, drinks after. Which is fine. She even came back and apologized. This is my 3rd visit to Spring Lotus. I consider the restaurant to be Pan Asian, offering a variety of Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese food. I went ahead this time and ordered the Drunken Noodles with a spice content of 2. The dish came and it was very bland to say the least. But what really shocked me and for me almost boarded on disgusting was the amount of egg they used. I have been having this dish for years, in various locations throughout the US and have never had so much egg in it. Also it would seem with the amount of business they do, they could at least update the place a bit. Nothing fancy but just maybe spruce it up a bit. I'll probably go back and give it another another try but I will say there are far better Thai restaurants in the valley for Drunken Noodles read more
