This was my first time here, I was surprised at the size of the store, looks small from the outside, but quite adequate inside, with table and booth seating for probably 40 people. The furniture is light duty but reasonably new. I ordered Won Ton Soup, Chicken Larb (both traditional Thai entrées), and Green Tea. The Won Ton Soup was what the Chinese would call Wor Won Ton, meaning with other ingredients, in this case chicken breast, julienned carrots, romaine lettuce and diced green onion, all in a homemade chicken broth. Indeed the chicken broth was the highlight of the entrée. The won ton noodles had no filling--just noodles. It's the pork sausage that makes the dish, maybe with a shrimp or two, but nope--this was just a good chicken and vegetable soup. The Larb was recognizable as such, but lacked several classic ingredients one would expect--crispy garlic, lemon grass, lime, mint, and peanuts. It did have the crunch of roasted rice, and a hint of fish sauce, but not enough to bind the ground chicken. And the lettuce was served as a chopped salad with carrots, not as scoops for the Larb. Overall, the meal was good, but neither were probably signature entrées of the restaurant. Consequently, I thought the meal was overpriced. And it didn't help that they charged three dollars for hot tea with the meal--complementary anywhere else! I shall have to come back and try their curries for which they claim bragging rights. Otherwise , for this 1st visit it was a 3-star experience, (which is good, right?). I will add, that the two waitresses were excellent, very attentive. read more

It is ridiculous when you go to have the buffet and your elderly parent get some food. Is eating and suddenly doesn't feel well. Doesn't want to waist it and was asking for a Togo box. Which I understand you don't get when it's a buffet. But here's the kicker. If you have most of your food still in your plate (again, sudden on set hot flash, sweats and not feeling well) we were told he is going to pay extra than the regular price for the buffet because he didn't eat it all. Like WTF. No compassion people!!! read more

The ambiance is a nightmare. Service is great and the food is rather good (slightly expensive, but portions are pretty big) but the sticky table, neon light chic makes the restaurant fairly dismal to dine in. Get take out, and eat by the side of the highway. read more

This business closes at 9pm and I called to verify how late they would serve. They were accommodating. Excellent customer service, waiter was awesome, food was well flavored and spice level was perfect for our request (medium). Owner cooks everything fresh and it is as authentic Thai food as we can get in Wenatchee. We got spring rolls and Tom Kha Gai soup for appetizers and Panang curry chicken and Thai fried Rice beef. My girlfriend and I arrived around 12 pm on a Tuesday, the lobby was empty except for one other table. Being this is the first time eating at this establishment I had high hopes. The Pad Thai was unexpectedly sweet and mediocre at best. The portion size for the Sticky Rice Pudding was relatively small for the $11 price point. Overall, I wouldn't recommend considering there are better Thai restaurants in the area with a better price range. read more

It's really very hit or miss here. I've had some wonderful food, and I've come other times and had decidedly mediocre food (same dishes). I don't know if they have trouble keeping chefs or what but it's not at all consistent. Peanut sauce is always good. I would avoid their Tom Kha which was entirely devoid of flavor the one and only time I got it. On their good days, this is much better than Mai Lee Thai. Mai Lee is overwhelming with garlic and fish sauce as their main flavor of just about everything. They don't do that to you here which I appreciate. Some things to note is that the inside feels...life a cafe and not like a nice restaurant. The tables wobble. The writing on the windows with paint pens feels cheap. They got some new plants about two years ago that had fungus gnats in them. They've never solved that issue so be prepared to wave tiny gnats away from you and your food. Service is good - actually I've never had bad service here that I can remember so that much is consistently good. It's annoying to me that they're closed on Sundays and for part of the afternoon. That's probably when I would be most likely to go. Due to the inconsistency (and the fact that we don't live close by), we haven't come here as often. But I wouldn't avoid it either. My kids love the pan fried noodles and sometimes ask to come here just for that. read more

The only thing good from this place is the curry. We had the sampler and it tasted like Chinese buffet food, not freshly made and everything seemed like it was pre made not in the restaurant. The fried rice was bland and did not taste good, neither did the pad Thai. Regular Pad Thai is supposed to have peanuts and a distinct taste. But this pad Thai tasted bland and not good at all. My rating is more of a 3.5 than a 4 star. We visited this restaurant pretty close to their closing time but they welcomed us without any hesitation. We were a large group and they patiently took our order and the waitress even calmly took down customization. The service was a 5 star. We ordered quite a few things: Fresh rolls: 4.5 stars Egg rolls: 5 stars Tom Yum soup: 4 stars Many of us liked it and some did not. Yakisoba noodles: 4 stars A little sweet for me but nothing some chill sauce and flakes couldn't fix. Thai fried rice: (added pineapple) 4.5 stars This was on the spicier side even when it was ordered in medium spice level. Lucky for us we ordered it with pineapple (they charged us $4) and that made it perfect! Downside was the cost of pineapple! Cashew nut tofu: 1 star Never had such a bad one! I rarely give bad reviews but this one we ordered 2 for the table and were not able to finish even one. Sticky mango rice: 4 stars Mangoes weren't that great. But overall tasted good. Average ambience but very clean. With only a handful thai restaurants in the area we may visit them again. read more

Second time eating here. First time the food was good and service was good. Not sure what happened this time. We reserved a spot for lunch got sat and our table was sticky. Asked for a rag to wipe it but did not receive one. Order was taken and we got our bbq pork app. The hot mustard was like yellow water and no good. Asked for drinks and only got three out of four. We had to track down the server to ask about the fourth. We got our meals and the food was mediocre at best. Asked for a to-go box to take the rest of the barbecue pork home for my dogs, but they forgot. I had to remind them again for a to-go box. Last they screwed up on my bill and added another appetizer that I did not order and realized it after they had already ran my card. They did not fix my bill properly. It's snowing outside, it's my birthday today, and my wife and I are famished. I decide I want Thai. I have options. I see that Spice Thai Kitchen has picked up some negs, and that bums me out. They are great people, and I believe in their food. It's difficult catering to the valley. Expectations are high if you're coming from a big city, and your palate is..demanding. It's difficult if you're catering to Pad See Ewan inexperienced palate, and frame of reference, so much so that Thai restaurants are reduced to adding Teriyaki, Chinese, Vietnamese, or even Korean to the menu. This meal, like my first, was as delicious and satisfying as I could have wished. Thank you once again, Spice Thai Kitchen. I don't know if they were having an off day, but this was the worst Thai I have ever had. You could smell something was wrong with the curry before we even tasted it. It had a burnt plastic smell. It tasted even worse than it smelled. It was inedible. The fried wontons were over fried and contained no filling. It seemed like they took already fried ones and refried them. We didn't even end up taking more than a few bites of anything it was so bad. You couldn't pay me to come back here. read more

Easily the most consistent Thai food in Wenatchee. Excellent every time. They also know how to actually make it super spicy.

Came here based on that they were a new business and the first reviewer said very positive things. I tried the Fried Wontons and Beef Pad Se Ew. The wontons could have used more filling, all I could taste the was dough and the sauce. The Pad Se Ew was delicious! I got a medium for spice but it wasn't spicy at all, next time I will probably try the "fire" spice level. Waitstaff was polite and attentive, being a new restaurant there are still some kinks for them to work out of course, but it wasn't bad things. After I placed my order, 2 more people came up to me and asked me if I'd ordered yet. Like I said not a bad thing, they were very attentive to my needs. We come here regularly, I would say every other Friday or Saturday so I'm surprised to see some lower scores for reviews for this place because it's always consistently good in my experience. After trying every Thai restaurant in town this is by far our favorite. The food is extremely flavorful and fresh, reasonable prices compared to other Thai restaurants in Wenatchee, and the staff are very attentive and nice. Recommend the fresh rolls, Yellow Curry, and Pad Kra Proa with a fried egg. read more

We came here for the lunch buffet during the work week, and it was pretty good. They offer an assortment of entrees, salad and desserts for a pretty good price. When we came they had chicken larb, curry, rice, noodles and salad. At the time we were doing low carb, so we passed on the noodles and rice and focused on the salad topped with some protein. The entrees were delicious. You can tell they make the fresh and in small batches. I am completely okay with that though, because they keep coming out with fresh servings. I tried the black rice pudding and it was really good! It had a nice consistency and some condensed milk drizzled on top of it. I think this is a great value for lunch. The food is tasty and the service was fast and friendly. They know how to handle a busy lunch group too. read more

From being out of town and just moving to Wenatchee, there are not a lot of options on where to get Thai. Many people recommended Spicy Thai! The Pad Thai was extremely good and you get to choose the heat level that you want. All of the curry choices are extremely great too! Awesome food and great staff! Got a to go order tonight and looked through it when I got in my car and thought the side of peanut sauce I ordered was missing. I went back inside to let them know and they were so kind and apologetic. When I got home I unpacked my order and there was the peanut sauce I thought was originally missing from my order. I called and apologized and they were so nice and understanding. I will have to make it up to them on my next visit. Thank You guys for being so understanding. I will defiantly be back. Wow this was good! A group of 5 of us visited, each of us ordering something different (except two of us) and it was SOOOOO good! My wife had #45 Sizzling Shrimp (imagine a mexican fajita plate that comes sizzling to your table, but this is just big shrimp) and a side of a very fresh tasting green buttery (maybe cilantro and lime) cup to dip in... With a big bowl of rice! Mine was #19 Pad See-ew. LARGE yummy noodles with a darker sauce. I can't describe it....sorry... With chicken. FANTASTIC! If you've dined at a buffet style Asian food place, you know everything can taste the same from one dish to another. This is what we got for an anniversary dinner. No flavor, salty to the hilt, nothing that even resembled fried rice. The quality of the food has gone down hill since my last meal here less than a year ago. They are smart business people, all you can eat buffet sounds good but look up closer what is good is just only two dishes of chicken the rest is white rice, very light color of fried rice, salad, macaroni so I decide to skip that. I love good Thai food so I was hopeful when I saw this place while visiting Wenatchee. It was great! Bright and clean with friendly staff. We had Tom Ka that had such good broth I didn't want it to end! We shared panang curry and phad won sen. Usually curry is a lot of curry and little of the other.
