Great spot for some quick grab for lunch or dinner. They pretty much have everything on the menu you need for some fast food! Including burgers to fried seafood. I usually get their clam and fries. One of my fav!

    Chicken strip

I'm being generous giving this place 3 stars, the waitress was very sweet and kind. The burger was good typical small diner burger, really juicy and tasty. Fries were decent. But the issue for not five stars is the sad excuse for chicken strips. Absolutely no flavor. I've had better chicken at three in the morning at a gas station that's been there since 5. Stay away from the chicken till they get their act together.

This is breading from one piece fish

When placed order asked if wanted napkins and sauces for fish/chicken/chips. Pictures show fish that was basically all breading. One piece of fish was unrecognizable just a big gob of thick breading that looked like fish was stuck together with it on inside... Instead of nice tray on window and food in baskets handed a paper bag. So went to Costco parking lot to eat. The $20 meal was so bad almost took back - noticed not given a ticket. This had always been our go to when we came to town...but won't be back.

LOBSTER ROLL?? When I called in my chicken and burger order, the pleasant voice on the other end said, "Thanks for calling Larry's - would you like to try our new Lobster Roll?" Lobster Roll in Wenatchee?? I had to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations - and just $12. Our youngest daughter lives in Boston so we know what a great Lobster Roll is like. This one came pretty close. The lobster mixture was well flavored and had pretty good texture (langostino?). The roll was fresh but unlike the East Coast version, it was sliced all the way through so it was nearly impossible to keep the lobster mixture from escaping roll. I'll definitely do Lobster Roll again at Larry's. Oh, and the burger was fabulous!!

Their burgers are excellent. The fish sandwich is also very good. Good "drive-in" experience.

Chicken was flavorless. The fries were dry and when it got cold the fries got mushy and wet. Overhyped resturaunt.

Best fried chicken in Wenatchee. Friendly wait staff come out to your car to take your order. You can eat there in your car or take it home.

It's Burger King on steroids! You won't find tomatoes on the menu board, but almost every other combination of garnish (and companion meats) are options. I went with their stated classic, the "OG Mission" ('original gangster') burger. It is delicious, albeit noticeably greasy, due to the extra-high fat content of the ground beef. But that's where the rich flavor comes from. What Mission Burgers is doing right is highly seasoning the meat with salt and pepper, then punching up the flavor with pickles, red onion, and their special sauce. Add to that the richness of the cheese and the crusty, grilled bun--this is the winning combination at the base of all their other burger options. The other thing I really appreciate is, their straightforward pricing without trying to upsell their ingredients. The add-ons are inexpensive--slice of cheddar is $.50 compared to EZ's $1.47 for the same. Two suggestions: - drain the grease off the patties before assembly, - don't fold the wrapper in half... wrap the burger in a full sheet, stronger paper if necessary, keep it from leaking all over clothing. (I'll be back to check! :-) Otherwise, this is a 5-Star burger! (see the menu board pic attached for all the other options, including chicken)

Over the last year Sherrie and I have gravitated from their burgers to their chowder...probably have had it about 20 times. We've even bought Ivar's Clam Chowder from Costco to compare them. Ivar's has more creaminess and less clam flavor, and though Ivar's from Costco is the low-cost leader, it doesn't compare with EZ's "Dock" brand. I finally interviewed EZ's about it. The recipe is the owner's. "Docks" is the owner's copyrighted brand. It is fully prepared from scratch on site and I believe it is only sold out of this location. They started selling a larger 20 oz. size a few months ago and it's the perfect dinner size, completely satisfying (see the pic). - Scott

Sadly, many of them have moved on. But some still remain, and encountering them again is exhilarating. I always look forward to the hugs and squealing laughter.--"...where did you go and what have you done...? We've missed you!" McGlinn's Alehouse is the place we spent most of our time for the first five years of our marriage. It was originally the Orondo Tavern, built in 1922 as a solid brick two-story commercial building in the small town rural American style--big, open storefront windows on the ground floor, and small offices and apartments on the second, with tiny windows surrounded in iron bar planters. Such buildings have long narrow internal staircases up the right side entrance--one you'd never access unless to lived in one of those vaults upstairs. I finally returned to McGlinn's tonight. I had been meaning to, long before this, but there was never any parking in front --many restaurants now have covered sidewalk-cabanas out front--a code violation waved during the COVID pandemic. Inside, the left wall is still that half-block-long cabinet of all the liquor bottles you can imagine, multiplied in depth by the mirrors behind them. Down the middle of the room is one long continuous table that seats 14 people on a side--yes, strangers sit together. At the very back wall there is still, the largest brick open-hearth wood-burning oven you'd ever bake a leg of lamb and two pizzas in, at the same time. And down the right side-wall were six wooden tables-of-four, all sealed in a hard resin clear coat, as shiny and clean as they were vintage and rustic. I sat in the first chair at the first table, my back to the stairway down to bathrooms in the basement below the sidewalk. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Tim's chips, a departure from the "John Paul Bacon Burger with pickled onions (McGlinn's is famous for). Ask to sit in Sadie's section--she's been there 20 years. McGlinn's has been there 34 years! What's not to like about an old friend! -------== ##### ==-------
