My first time here...and I'm impressed with the DIY salad bar--37 ingredients and 8 dressings ! (See the pics) There are two sized foam containers, suitable for eating inside or taking out. Self-serve was easy---make your salad and weigh it at the register. My large tray salad (see pic) was $17.21. It was two meals worth! The ingredients were all very fresh with a few spectacular choices--crumbled blue cheese, artichoke hearts, diced red pepper, cubed ham, roasted chicken, hard-boiled eggs, pickled beets, Kalamata olives, and sweet pickle chips. I love blue cheese dressing, especially when I can choose the amount. Dilly's is a little diluted and lacks garlic, but the crumbled blue cheese made it all work. Also, salt and pepper was needed--if it was there, I didn't see any. But hey, this is the most complete salad bar I've seen in Wenatchee. I also took home a Tuna-Tuna sandwich for Sherrie--she loved it. I think we're hooked! There's a loyalty program--1 Star for every $10 spent, and 50% off next purchase after 10 Stars. 100% Bait & Switch. Sandwiches were not at all like the photos on the website. Small and overpriced. My coworkers and I ordered ahead for a pickup during lunch break. Outstanding service and food. My wife and I want to buy an assortment sandwiches for the staff at the Progressive Care Unit at Confluence Health Hospital where my dad was being treated. Dilly Delli set us up with an assortment of their standard sandwiches. Dilly Delli cut each of them in half, wrapped each half individually, and labeled them all. Our road trip took us through Wenatchee. We wanted a local lunch spot. The Dilly Deli came up on Yelp. The guys ordered sandwiches and the women ordered salad bar. I had high hopes for this place. I love a good old fashion salad bar. The salad was good. Unfortunately, I wish I would have know this ahead of time: When it came to the dressing, I didn't know which one I would like. It's not like I can taste it beforehand, so I put two different kinds in their little cups. I went to pay for my salad. The lady behind the counter said to put it on the scale. It was $18. Fairly big salad, but I wanted to try it all. Then another lady said to weight the dressing, too. I thought to myself, who much can two little cups weigh. The answer was $4.50. I felt like I was hustled, but what was I supposed to do? Pick one dressing and pour the other back into the container? As I sat eating my salad, I grew angry. For $4.50, I could buy a whole bottle of salad dressing. That is from the grocery store; imagine how much less it would cost if I was buying in bulk. Salad was good. I love a good sandwich shop, and Dilly Deli did fit that bill. I don't get to wennachee often but when I do I like to plan my stay to include lunch. Today was doing a training for a group and did want to lunch that was provided. Instead it was Dilly Deli for me. I ordered on line because jalapeño don't agree with me. So I ordered it with jalapeños and pesto sauce.So you can imagine my surprise when my first bite of my sandwich was full of jalapeños. I had more jalapeños than avocado in my sandwich. Needless to say I won't be going here anytime soon and neither will anybody that attended the training. We love it here. The freshness of the bread and meat is outstanding. The young lady who helped us yesterday was very polite and quick. Our food came out in a timely manner. I got the sandwich that has cranberry on it. My first time trying that, and I will get it next time, very delicious . I also tried kombucha for the first time. Had a Tuna sandwich to-go today. So disappointed! Barely any tuna on it. No chopped onions mixed into it. They just toss a few purple onions on it, a piece of lettuce, and an unripe tomato. Meh. I came here because I thought prices were reasonable, but that info was from outdated pictures on Yelp. The classic sandwich I ended up with was $10. The cheddar jalapeño bread is so dry that the mayonnaise and mustard can't make up for it. The rest of the sandwich is fine which is not what I expect from a 10 dollar sandwich. I could have bought these ingredients, created my own sandwich and been happier with my purchase. I wouldn't return. Not worth the price and the hype. read more

This is a great place to pick up lunch! They have some unique sandwich combinations, my favorite is the Turkey Tom. It's a turkey sandwich with cream cheese, cranberry sauce and alfalfa sprouts. I like to get it on toasted sourdough, it's the perfect combination of sweet and savory. But you don't have to have a sophisticated palette to appreciate the menu here, they have something for everyone! You can try one of the created sandwiches, or create your own. The salad bar is also fully stocked with fresh ingredients and toppings to help you create a healthy, satisfying salad. But make sure you check out the display with the treats, too! They have a variety of delicious cookies and treats. The service is also something to note. They are fast and friendly here, so you can pick up your lunch and still get back to work on time, or sit and enjoy it with lots of seating in the back. If 0 stars was an option, that's what I'd give the Dilly Deli for my recent visit while home in Wenatchee over the holidays. I stopped in to grab a quick sandwich, I had eaten here on past visits and been pleased with the sandwich menu. Plus, knowing how businesses have been impacted I try to patronize small, local businesses everywhere I can. However, I should have turned around and walked out when I saw that the cashier wasn't wearing a mask, in a deli. Pretty sure everyone knows there's still an indoor mask mandate in place, like it or not, but when I saw the gal in the kitchen, making my sandwich, without a mask, I was just plane disgusted. I'd paid for my sandwich but should have just left it behind, I certainly wasn't going to eat it ( upon looking at it, it wasn't worth eating either, but that's another review). I get it, we're all tired of the restrictions, masking, etc., but at the time, my double vaccinated and boosted husband was at home, isolated in my mom's basement with covid, extending our holiday visit of a week, to three +. After doing everything we could for the past 2 years to stay safe and do our part to protect others, the blatant disregard for public health, in a place serving food was just too much. I will never go back, nor recommend this business to anyone. Shame on the owner and their employees. read more

I love the food at Dilly Deli! Great service, fresh ingredients, etc. Unfortunately, their policy on delivery seems to change frequently - or, the people answering the phone don't know the policy. I've been told that they aren't delivering now (when I called at lunch time), that the minimum order is $50, and that they deliver only for catering. Basically, I'm guessing that they only deliver for big orders but they don't want to say that. It's frustrating to have "Delivery" be one of the ways to sort Yelp listings and have Dilly come up. When people are looking for delivery on Yelp, I can almost guarantee that they are not looking to cater an event. read more

After reading the review with rather low stars I decided to still check it out since it was a new place. I was in Wenatchee running errands and I really just wanted a quick sandwich. I remembered this place and I was conveniently around the corner. I had my dog with me and not wanting to leave him in my Taco with the unexpected hot day I was happy to find a shaded parking spot right in front of this joint and bonus there was a table outside. I can't remember what I had, it started with Captain, but it was a veggie sandwich. The girl at the counter was super friendly. The place looks really clean and they offer a salad bar. I went with the jalapeno bread as she recommended. I was happy with my sammich, full of flavor. This place has huge potential and I hope they do well. If I had to mark something bad is that my sandwich felt a little dry, maybe it needed a bit more of what ever delicious dressing they use. read more

It doesn't take a genius to figure the rest out, but knowing I must waste my time with a few of you, I'll put it in grade school terms, so that you can understand. Ahem! There must've been a glitch in the Matrix 'cause I sure as hell didn't see any napkins. I hate not having any napkins. I walk in with a white t-shirt and walk out with another addition to my Tie Dye collection. Perhaps I have to ask for them?! Nevertheless, I enjoy food! That's why I continue to refuse the red pill. To satisfy my cravings though, I'd have to spend about $30 on my own here. Sandwiches alone start at $5.95. Salad by the pound somewhere in the $6 dollar range. These guys are great! After a first-time miss with the Yelp app (closed on Memorial Day) we ventured into the Dilly Deli from a 3-day trip in Stehekin. All I wanted was a roast beef sandwich, but what I got was super friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and a fantastic roastbeef sandwich. And I mean fantastic. It came with a horseradish dressing too! We also grabbed a couple of coffees for the road (and a deluxe brownie, which I HIGHLY recommend). But if you're looking for a one-line review: this place has really great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and really thoughtful, relaxed people working there. I'd go again in a heartbeat! read more

I have been here several times, and I have to say. This is THE deli! Everything I had has been wonderful. Also, the salad bar is INSANE! Over 100 items in the bar. Soup is also awesome. I last had the beef and barley. Yumm. Atmosphere is great, just like a well cleaned, bright city deli. Prices are alittle tiny bit above normal deli prices, but well worth it.
