Wenatchee Natural Foods is an awesome place for food, drinks and groceries. We spotted Wenatchee…read moreNatural Foods, which was across our hotel, and it ended being one of our favorite spot to get sustenance. Located on the main street of Wenatchee, Wenatchee Natural Foods offers organic, sustainable items, with lots of locally made products. It's not the largest grocer, but the selection was fantastic. We were able to get some grocery items here during our weekend trip and also tried the items that they prepare at the cafe area towards the back of the store. At the cafe area, they have a large menu of different drinks, with smoothies that are worth checking out. I loved the chocolate smoothie, which they make with almond butter and vanilla whey, so it's naturally sweetened. I also ordered a bowl, which you can make based on the different ingredients they offer, like a base of rice or beans, with different proteins and veggies. I customized my bowl with rice, curry chickpeas, avocado and steak and seasonal veggies and it served as two meals, which was delicious. For those wanting to dine in, they have a seating area on the side of the store, with outdoor seating where it's dog-friendly. It's a win for Wenatchee to have a store like Wenatchee Natural Foods, offering a great selection of healthy, wholesome items in a community-centric setting. I'd come back here again when in the area.

My absolute favorite grocery store! We don't live in Wenatchee but visit often, and always come in!…read moreThis store has absolutely everything! The prices on some items are definitely higher, but it's always worth going in for the WNF Cafe. The chai is some of the best I've had, I'm always looking for chai that is real and not overly sweet! I will always recommend this place

Los Manzaneros - Super clean open eating area!

On a super-hot Wednesday afternoon, I was really craving some cold refreshment. The images of iced…read moredrinks, fresh fruit and smoothies on the face of this café caught my attention, and I immediately pulled into the front parking lot. Los Manzaneros is on Rock Island Road, a block south of the Sellers Bridge in East Wenatchee. With off-street parking--access is easy. In spite of a huge selection of cold desserts and drinks, several hot sandwich style options are also on the wall menu. I ordered the "Bionico Fresa" which is a sliced strawberry salad with a creamy almost lemony dressing. It was cold and absolutely delicious! I watched Marie, the owner, cut all the fruit to order and dress the salad. We spoke in Spanish and I asked if how long the store has been here in Wenatchee? "Dos Años!" She's an experienced restauranteur and it shows in her equipment and kitchen layout. Her operation is in full view and it's all clean, well organized, and well lighted...obviously not her first rodeo (but enough of that). Los Manzaneros serves a selection of fruit and vegetable flavors common to both North and Central America, in the form of Juices, Smoothies, iced soft drinks and shaved ices - Mango, Jicama, Cucumber, Pineapple, Banana, Watermelon, Papaya, Spinach, Tajin, Celery, Beets, Lemon, Chamoy, and Tamarind. Marie also serves apples (that's an inside joke for locals). But I'm coming back for: - Shrimp Cocktails - Ceviches - Pork, Ham, Turkey Sandwiches - Quesadillas- Ham, Turkey 5-Stars !!! (See you tomorrow, Marie!)

I originally posted a review a few days ago about my first experience here. I was pleasantly…read moresurprised at how delicious my turkey panini was and it really hit the spot! Yum pesto! I gave it 5 stars at that time. Service was friendly and quick as well. Today I called in order at 2:30 and was bummed they already ran out of clam chowder so I ordered a lamb gyro. When I arrived girl had forgotten to show the main girl my order. She seemed new so I'll cut her slack. Luckily it was made quick and apologies they were slammed today. The gyro was delicious. Just a hint though a free drink would of been perfect. I also still want to try their soup.

A lot of people stop by to hang out or study; there's certainly enough room. The standout here is their gyro! So so good. While it doesn't have as much meat as a gyro stand would, vegetables are fresh, the pita is warm and delicious, and the meat is fantastic! The breakfast sandwiches are also awesome. I love that they have an option for sourdough or ciabatta bread, and option of veggies for $0.50. However they are a little pricey at $4.95 without veggie option. The only reason I don't give this 5/5 stars is because there is one girl who isn't very friendly. She really lacks in customer service skills. She's not friendly at all. Several times she's given me coffee with coffee all over the outside of the cup, and acts annoyed when I ask her for a napkin (so I can clean it!) Everyone else is really nice here, but this one girl does ruin the experience for me.
