She joked that she would put it in an ice bath when I was paying but came out and had it in ice so the açaí wouldn't melt! It made my day with a laugh and incredible service!! This is my new favorite cafe. (The açaí bowl made it safely to Wenatchee without any melting!) They also have the most amazing veggie sandwich. I was blown away when I ate it, the ciabatta bread is the most incredible ciabatta bread I have ever eaten, paired with their marinated mozzarella & the rest of the sandwich. I was quite disappointed about how hot it was inside - at least 75 degrees. I had to separate from my husband and 1-year-old to sit outside after first attempting to stand at the door and hold it open to get some cool air inside. There are no restrooms available. No high chairs. Obviously no changing table. Food: it was ok. They only had pork options for breakfast sandwiches: bacon, sausage, ham. Having a veggie sausage or turkey/chicken sausage option would help a lot. They did let me sub out deli turkey on the breakfast bagel, but it wasn't very good. My husband got the breakfast burrito but wasn't able to eat it there because of the heat issue and me needing to go outside. They had no high chairs, so baby got to crawl around inside. I did really like the coffee and was happy they had maple syrup as an option. They have Monin, Davinci, and 1883. Their coffee was up to 20 oz and had two shots in each. Overall, I'll probably hit up a different place that keeps reasonable temperatures in their restaurant and is kid friendly next time! read more

Food is over priced. There is no real signature food or recipe. Was thinking in a small town the ambiance would reflect the rural area that is present everywhere. Just sandwiches and prepackaged goods. Takes a long time to get your order and locals are acknowledged; but new comers not so much. Seems like a small town cliche. read more

Went to check out Weeds for breakfast one day. Tried the sausage breakfast burrito and the bagel sandwich. Both were hearty and flavorful. The burrito was generously sized with sausage, cheese, and a real egg. The bagel was toasted and full of sausage, cheese and egg. They had the option of sauces but truly they were flavorful enough. This restaurant came as a recommendation from our Airbnb in Cashmere. We drove into the town of Cashmere specifically to check it out. We were not disappointed. One of the claim to fames is the penny floor. It's a cool idea, fun to check out and apparently also has 3 dimes mixed in amongst the copper. We didn't find all 3. But......on to the food. I ordered the Scramble, with bacon. It had cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and feta on top. I have never had cucumbers on a scramble but i was pleasantly surprised - it was really good. It was a Greek theme but served with a side of salsa. I'm not mad about that. The portions are not huge, but nor is the price, and it filled me up save for a tiny bit of room for a cookie. Or two. Shared between friends. We tried a lemon blueberry cookie (still warm) and a chocolate chip. Both were delectable!! If I'm ever in Cashmere, I'd pop in again for sure!! read more

The food is great I was a bit surprised as they do t really "make" the food. The Ruben sandwich is excellent. Smoothies are really good. Love ambience! The only reason for 4 stars is the baked goods are not great. They don't appear to have much love. Sort of look like they were tossed in the case broken and bent. Weeds has some of the best baked goods in the Wenatchee valley. Sometimes I drive out of my way to get this delicious fruit and yogurt parfait. They do not skimp on any ingredients! Tons of raspberries, strawberries and blueberries and sliced bananas for good measure. They have lots of alternatives milks for coffees that aren't always available at other local cafes including oat, soy, almond, coconut and hemp. The people who work here are nice and aim to please. We stopped through for lunch on our way home from a wedding and it was really good. I wasn't super hungry but wanted something small so I got a mixed berry smoothie and an everything bagel with cream cheese. The mixed berry had a unique taste that the more I drank it the more I really liked it. My husband got the BLT with a watermelon smoothie. Both were also really good. Off the bat of the two the watermelon smoothie was my favorite but the more I drank of the mixed berry the more I liked it so I would definitely recommend either. Depending on if you want a ton of different flavors vs one really good flavor. On the back of their take out menu they have a cool story about the penny floors they have. It was cute open and had a decent amount of seating inside and out. If you're looking for a light but good lunch I highly suggest stopping here! read more

I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and two pumps of vanilla and it was honestly better than Starbucks. I also got the veggie sandwich and it was super good. We ordered takeout, and our food came out pretty quickly, maybe 5-10 minutes, even though the place was pretty busy. I ordered the BLT which comes on focaccia bread. It came with plenty of fresh leaf lettuce which I appreciated! The focaccia was super soft and delicious. Overall the flavor was great and I was impressed! My mom ordered a bowl of the soup of the day, Thai coconut chicken curry. She enjoyed it very much. I also tasted it and agreed it was tasty and pretty thick/filling. In a case at the counter there was also an assortment of fresh baked cookies and pastries that looked delicious, but I stayed focused on lunch. We will definitely try this place again next time we are passing through Cashmere. read more

Didn't feel the warmest welcome from this little cafe in the town my family grew up in. Food was mostly okay, but its price was what was the most unpleasant aspect. Four BASIC sandwiches (without chips or pickles or anything else on the side) plus three customized coffee drinks (1-12 oz drink and 2-8 oz drinks with milk alternatives) came to $95...$103 with a prepaid tip!!) I would not recommend my family and friends who live in Cashmere and Wenatchee to dine/order from here...same goes with those who are traveling through. I think what would significantly help this business in the future is more communication (maybe a sign at the register indicating "a complementary bag of chips is included for dine in orders only" and "your 8 oz drink may appear small in our 12 oz coffee cups but please be assured that you're getting what you ordered. ^_^ " kind of thing) and adjusting prices appropriately. read more

A nice warm, cozy ,and inviting coffee spot right (literally) on the square in Cashmere. I had the breakfast burrito and my friend the breakfast sandwich (both with sausage) I have to say the portion size was bigger than I expected! Eggs, cheese, peppers, and the sausage served with a side of salsa. The burrito took up most of the plate!!! Long time customer and sadly will never return which is a major bummer since the options in town are few. Order breakfast online for pickup (even though the prices are higher than when you order in store) and selected the options for our items. The order was beyond backwards and incorrect so called to ask for it to be remade so we could go back and pick up. The excuses as to why the order was wrong and how it was my fault were beyond unreal and inconsiderate. As the customer I was told I selected the wrong items which after checking my order was not true, the order was just plum made wrong. Instead of the rude staff apologizing and remaking the overpriced order they continued to argue with me anywhere from it was my mistake or the ordering system mistake. Staff was rude, more interested in giggling and visiting with friends than helping customers. In reading other reviews it appears this is a normal business practice for them. No longer a customer nor will I ever recommend people to stop there, not worth the poor treatment for lackluster food. read more
