I had the joy of trying the citrus croissant today - I don't remember the last time I've had a croissant so good since I tried Love croissants in Houston, TX! I absolutely devoured this croissant. I couldn't believe how bright and moist and buttery and layered and soft and perfectly sweet. It was. It wasn't overly sweet. It wasn't dry. It was just incredible. I had the Genese Mocha - mocha with citrus! Also perfectly sweet not over sweet. Everything about this place is adorable. Her handwriting on my cup, the adorable rose stamp on the side of the cup, the antique decor in the hallway and bathroom and throughout the entire Coffee Shop! Such wonderful staff. I believe I met the two owners today, although I failed to ask their names! One was baking and one was running coffee. This is an absolute jewel of a place. I wish they could bring this over to the Kirkland and Seattle area! Can't wait to come back next time we're here!

When in Wenatchee, we always go to Mela because we know we will get a consistently excellent coffee. I absolutely love that Mela roasts its own beans right down the road. We're going with 4.5 stars today but there's no way we can't round it up to the five (since we…read morecan't do 1/2's) because of Amber and Hannah and their excellent customer service. Today was our second visit but the first to include food. We are in town for the week and stopped by for coffee three days ago and bantered a bit with the woman working the counter whose name we found out today is Amber. She's so awesome! I hope that business knows just how amazing she is and treats her accordingly. That first day we only ordered coffee and really liked it and the banter lifted us up a bit so that was cool. Today we went in for breakfast and coffee. She remembered us and everything unique about that first encounter. It was a good feeling after a crazy few days so that was wonderful. We also met Hannah who made the excellent coffees we had. We ordered a croque monsieur with an egg on top, a beirock (not sure I'm spelling that right), quiche and a morning bun. Everything was delicious! The beirock had eggs, cheese and bacon in it in a fully closed bun. That bun had such a good flavor that I would only order that next time. The quiche was creamy and smooth but the crust wasn't good. Our daughter who lives here and loves this place, especially their quiche (she says it's better than mine, lol) says the crust usually isn't as bad as it was today. For me, it tasted like it was microwaved (and maybe it was) and that taste and texture is not good. The filling was so tasty though. The morning bun was delicious. I don't normally love sweets for breakfast but it was yummy. The croque was fan-frickin-tastic and while Randy says he's had one that's better, it's not much better and he absolutely loved it. We all had tastes of it and loved it. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town and recommend you try this place out too. If you do, please tell Amber Bobo, Coco and Momo say HI!

What's Not to Love About Glaze?…read more As a member of the leadership team overseeing multiple data center campuses in this region, I've come to really appreciate the value of consistency, attention to detail, and genuine service--whether it's from our internal operations or the vendors and partners we choose to support our teams. Glaze Doughnuts has become one of those standout partners. Time and time again, Glaze has proven that no order is too small--or too large. There have been mornings where we've called in a modest request for just a few dozen of the town's best doughnuts to brighten our technicians' day, and other moments where we've needed large catering orders to support full site events, customer visits, or company-wide meetings. In every instance, the team at Glaze responds with the same level of enthusiasm, professionalism, and care. The doughnuts themselves are next level. We're not talking about ordinary pastries here--every single one is crafted with quality ingredients, creative flavor combinations, and the kind of freshness that tells you these aren't sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to bite. From the classics to the seasonal specials, Glaze delivers excellence in every box. But what really keeps us coming back isn't just the product--it's the people. The staff at Glaze truly make you feel like your order matters, no matter the size. They've remembered names, made thoughtful recommendations, and gone above and beyond to accommodate timelines, delivery requests, and last-minute changes. Their service-first mindset makes a huge difference, especially in an industry like ours where reliability matters more than anything. And as a veteran-owned business, Glaze brings a level of integrity and purpose to their work that deserves to be celebrated. They treat every customer like they're part of something bigger--and in many ways, they are. Glaze is more than a doughnut shop. It's a local institution built on hard work, pride, and hospitality. Ten out of ten--every time. For us, Glaze has become a trusted part of how we care for our people. And in this fast-paced world, where so much feels rushed or impersonal, having a local partner that consistently delivers joy, quality, and genuine service is a gift. Thank you to the Glaze team for doing what you do. We see you. We appreciate you. And we'll keep coming back.- thanks Sepi
