We've been coming here for 20 years and it just keeps getting better! The grounds are really lovely now including tons of flowers and lots of seating options including picnic tables and lots of other seating too. The pastries are to die for. Today I had an almond croissant which was just as good as anything that I had in Paris! The sourdough a blueberry muffin was most excellent too and was loaded with a thick layer of blueberries at the bottom. I highly recommend stopping here on your way in or out of Leavenworth or Wenatchee. Nestled in and amongst the orchards and truly lovely!

Breakfast outside. Egg and bacon sandwich & cappuccino was 10/10!

I went today for a quick breakfast and it was an awesome experience. The woman making drinks was friendly and helpful and accommodating! The girl who got my sandwich was really polite and friendly as well. The bacon egg sandwich was beyond good- I mean wow. It was on a baguette and the butter layer underneath tied it all together. I'm not even a baguette sandwich fan usually but I was really surprised by how good this sandwich was. The cappuccino I had was also excellent! The outside area is so cute and has plenty of room. Definitely worth a visit if you're driving through!

Anjou Bakery is amazing! We went twice on our trip to Washington. Bacon and egg baugette was my favorite, but the second time we went they were out so I got the ham (also great). The cookies were out of this world. I'm going to be dreaming about this place for a long time!

When we lived in Wenatchee many years ago but never tried this place out. Back then, we heard how amazing this place was so while visiting back we decided to stop in. All I can say is that I really don't feel like I missed out too much. Coffe drinks were average and the pastries were yummy but nothing that I haven't found elsewhere. Actually the pastry I got was so flaky that it made the biggest mess eating. I'll probably go back and give it another try next time I visit just to make sure I just didn't get the review wrong.

Stopped here on a whim and now it will be a permanent stop for me. So many yummy pastries and sandwiches to choose from, not to mention the cold bre was delicious. Also my barista was super nice and friendly.

Great place to stop while on a road trip. Or any time you drive by it! Truly artisan items. On the pricey side but it's well worth it.

No fresh pies or tarts. Loads of attitude from staff. Used to be a must but no more. Just lost a repeat customer.

I stopped and had a baguette with ham and butter. It was amazing! The ham was made by Cured by Visconti's. Service was good.

I saw cakes I hadn't seen in decades, the owner has the perfect German accent and the samples of the German rye bread will make you yodel for your own loaf to take home! I was so excited I completely forgot to ask for mine sliced! I guess I'll have to have irregular thickness pieces but the flavor is soo worth it! Great service super nice people!!

With my husband having…read morea German mother, he spent his childhood there, and we've perused several bakeries in town--this is the only truly authentic one. The bakery is old and small with limited seating, which actually reminds us of the authentic grab-and-go spots in Germany. We always go for the Bienenstich (bee sting cake). The server at the counter was really sweet and helpful; she cut us a big 'ole slice knowing we were sharing. We devoured that incredible slice, which delivered a perfect bite of creamy vanilla custard nestled between soft yeast cake and a crunchy, caramelized honey-almond topping. The contrast of the smooth filling and the sticky, nutty 'sting' makes for a truly memorable dessert experience, perfect every time. We also snagged a mini pretzel loaf. We were only missing mustard, but honestly, my husband said it was so good it didn't even need anything. It was fun to see the baker hard at work making bread, and the whole place smelled amazing. If you go, get there early--they sell out fast!
