If you are not from the area come prepared to spend some money! There are so many good items to buy here- syrup, jam, jellys, popcorn, easy to make soups, soaps and more! There is also a petting zoo. You can also buy fresh fruit and veggies. This place is a must stop and shop.

Huge Selection of Goods to Buy and Motivated Animals to Pet & Feed @ Smallwood's Harvest in Peshastin, WA. !! We stopped at this tourist attraction on the way to Leavenworth the day before Thanksgiving and we were happy we did. The store itself had ample space to wander throughout. Well-stocked and organized sections with a wide selection of goods for all savory and sweet palates. The one and only bathroom could use more attention. One attendant present at checkout so you're on your own for the most part. $5.00 entrance fee for petting farm and $1.00 feed bags. Lots of goats of all ages, sheep, turkeys, geese, llamas, donkey, and a cow. All the animals were up close and motivated by food in their enclosures and didn't mind gentle petting. Be aware that they're smart and will grab your whole bag of feed if they get a chance. Wear boots, muddy this time of year. Have wet wipes available to wipe hands after feeding if you hand feed animals, no washing stations. Or go back into the store to wash hands in the bathroom like we did. On the other side of the parking is a good size playground area for kids, but I personally did not check it out. Definitely worth a visit overall.

This is a fun attraction to check out if you have small kids. $5 per person to enter the petting zoo and play area. The animals seemed fine, they were hungry but didn't seem malnourished like other reviews indicated. Lots of variety of animals too; goats, sheep, turkeys, llamas, etc.

Great pit stop to stretch your legs, let the kids get their wiggles out and chances are, you'll find the spice, snack, sweet treat, beverage and gift to take with you! Well organized, great selection and so much to see.

We set out to find petting zoos last Saturday when we were in Leavenworth and drove past Smallwood then circled back and boy was it worth it!! We had a blast feeding the adorable goats and lambs taking Snapchats which I forgot to save. The cow was my favorite! We bought feed for the animals and popcorn for us and some jams to take home. We were only there for 30 minutes but it was super fun and definitely worth a trip if you're in Leavenworth. $5 each to get into the petting zoo and well worth it!

Cornbread, sausage, ribs, red beans with cheese = all tasty! Must dip sausage into the mustard! (2 meat option meal)

Cornbread, sausage, ribs, red beans with cheese = all delicious! MUST dip sausage into the mustard! Beef brisket - so tender and serving was a little smaller than preferred but it was delicious. The BBQ sauce was good but a little sweeter than I personally prefer. Pickles were good but might be a little too sour for some people's preference. I liked how it balanced out with the sweetness of the BBQ sauce so I didn't mind. Overall good food for the value. Service was excellent; cashier, servers and bussers were all super friendly. You order/pay at the front counter and they bring your food to you. Bathrooms are private unisex and neat/clean. Would definitely come back if I were ever back in the area!

Large lots and fun to see here.

On the way back from Leavenworth, I stopped by to buy some locally harvested fruit at the place. In addition to the parking lot, there is also a park for families to enjoy on the large grounds. Farm fun for everyone! The name of the shop is Smallwood's harvest and the inside is quite large. Each corner is named, so you can enjoy products and displays. There are many good souvenirs. Well shit products and BBQ shit kit are fun and you can get all shit here. I bought this season's cherry. It was a big cherry and was sweet and delicious. And also I bought a blue corn. I encourage you to stop by here.

My son has come to this place since he was 10 years old . He still enjoys the memories.

Amazing place. I have stopped at this place every time I visited Leavenworth and shopped there for many delicious items . I have also taking my kids there since they were very young and they enjoyed the place. Now they have green up they still remember the place and enjoy the fine memories. I was there last weekend and picked up some delicious cherries and other items. Great place and wonderful staff.

This is a great farm stand right outside of Leavenworth! We went at the end of January and enjoyed the petting farm and the store. There is also a coffee stand that seemed pretty popular and a large playground. The gal running the store was super friendly!

Inside: huge space with lots of locally produced goods: jellies, hot sauces, popcorn, honey sticks... We enjoyed petting a friendly store cat! Outside: the sweetest goats, sheep, pigs, geese and more all begging for a nibble of treats straight from your hand. Several lawn games and fun outside stuff to do. Like a perfect picnic/barbecue setup. My teens and I had a blast, even on a rainy April Monday.

Did I mention they have an entire room devoted to all things pickled?

I really don't even know how to describe this store. Actually, it's more than a store - it's an experience. Located just east of Bavaria (er, Leavenworth), it's hard to miss Smallwood's. There's ample signage to tempt you off the highway! Part produce stand, part specialty grocery store, part amusement park - yeah, this place has something for everyone. There's even a little tractor-pulled train to keep the kids occupied while you're wandering around inside the store sampling everything from hot sauce to popcorn to wine. There are even animatronic "talking" displays inside that are mildly amusing (and slightly odd). But what Smallwood's really seems to be known for is their amazing selection of locally made sauces, mustards, pickles, snacks, mixes...I mean, you name it, and they've probably got it. There are rows and rows and shelves and shelves of almost anything you could possibly want in the bottled concoction family. Not to mention, wine, popcorn, the requisite Aplets & Cotlets display, saltwater taffy, soup mixes, wine, and (of course) locally grown fruit and produce. Somehow I managed to spend almost $40 at this place - it was easy to do, as the prices are definitely tourist-oriented. I get it, they have to strike while the iron (and the weather) is hot. I can definitely see myself making this a regular stop when I'm on that side of the mountains - I'm still regretting I didn't buy a certain jar of BBQ sauce!

Very funny store with good selection. The novelty items were a hoot!! Prices are on the high end but not too bad.
