5/5 the best chocolate in a long time and I don't really eat a lot of chocolate. No added preservatives. Smooth tasty. They give samples. First time here. Magnificent service. Love the ambiance. I was able to select the chocolate I wanted. 9 chocolates. Highly recommend stopping by when in the area. Funny thing I'm not a huge chocolate fan. They sold me Awesome shop! We visited Schocolat after it was recommended by a friend who lives locally and enjoys fine wine and food. The service was friendly and helpful. Our friend gifted us a box. The chocolate was excellent. The exterior is very high quality and the fillings were rich and fresh. The chocolates are not cheap but definitely with it for a special treat. read more

My wife has waited to come back to this chocolate shop for 2 years because of how good the earl grey chocolates are. We tried a few coconut chocolates too and they were top notch. The employee boxed our chocolates up and then gave us 2 free chocolates for the road. On our way out a skin salve caught my wife's eye and we purchased it too. It smells super nice and is all made with all natural ingredients. We will be coming back again and we will be recommending this shop to others too! read more

This was one place I had on my list of places to visit while in Leavenworth. It was a bit confusing upon walking in as you must walk through a store in order to get to it in the back. It's a small space. A family of 4 were there trying chocolates and placing their order. Another 2 people were doing the same. We waited a bit, but decided to leave and come back. Which we did. It'a hit or miss if you'll be able to get to the counter, but I'm glad we did. They are very small bits of chocolate, but quite yummie. I think they're worth every penny. We tried a couple and purchased a dozen. And the price wasn't outrageous. I would've gotten more but we purchased so many other goodies in the cute town. I definitely recommend trying this place out. If it's busy, then try again later. I would go back next time I visit Leavenworth. read more

Oh my! We stumbled upon Schocolat when we were shopping inside and noticed that there was a chocolate store inside. I quickly looked it up in yelp and saw so many amazing reviews, so we decided to try it. We had a sample of the caramel & chocolate sauce and it was amazing! We ended up getting a pack of assorted chocolate. All of the flavors were delicious, but their dark chocolate was my favorite. I definitely recommend trying Schocolat! read more

This shop is quite small but offers pretty good chocolates, all made in-house, which is a nice touch. However, we expected it to be a chocolate lover's dream, and it didn't quite live up to the hype. It's more like a tiny version of See's Candy, with just bars and chocolate pieces--no unique or fun chocolate options. They also don't offer samples, and the chocolates are a bit overpriced for what you get. It's not bad. My order was the Bavarian chocolate ganache, and a caramel truffle chocolate. read more

The shop was listed under "ice cream" but was really a chocolate shop. Since rating on yelp was probably related to the chocolates, we decided to get a treat elsewhere. read more

I need to go to Germany to try their chocolate because what I experienced here was out of this world. American chocolate is heavy on the sugar but this chocolate was the absolute perfect ratio of sweetness to cocoa to fat. read more

If you love GOOD chocolate, not the cheap stuff that tries to be chocolate, this is the place to go. They had many Belgian type chocolates to choose from and the flavors were amazing. There were also some bars of their high quality chocolate of white, dark, milk, and one with all three in one. I took that for the road. They were super helpful in recommending different flavors, and generously gave me a free chocolate to try with my purchase. I love this place! read more

Looking for some treats to bring home to our neighbors, we saw Schocolat on the map and decided to check them out. The shop is actually a counter at the rear of another store. We were greeted upon approach and offered a sample to try while we waited our turn. I'm actually not a big chocolate eater, but the sample was creamy and rich. My husband picked out a pack of 9 different pieces to try, along with the bars we chose to bring home. Service was a tad awkward and slow, as a gentleman I assume was the owner was training young employees while the 2 of us and a few others were waiting. But, in the end after a bit of a wait we got what we wanted. The hubs ate all 9, minus a couple nibbles by me, as soon as we arrived back at the hotel. He enjoyed some more than others, but said they were all pretty tasty. Uniform and neat presentation, decent prices for fine chocolates. read more

I always get in truffle when I walk in! Try to suppress yourself with just a couple flavours, only to order a couple more, then a couple more..... unavoidably ending up with a couple dozen! Pure chocolate craftsmanship. Favorite ~ roll the R and french the G as you deservingly delight the Orange Chocolat on your tongue. This is a spoil yourself destination. read more

Quickly popped in as we were walking in dt Leavenworth. The truffles all seemed interesting and tasty and I was surprised to see that each was less than $2. I grabbed a few: passionfruit, marzipan, and a lime/orange truffle. All were solid and tasted great but the passionfruit stood out to us. While the sweetness of the chocolate was the prominent taste for the other truffles, the passionfruit had a lot of flavor and balanced out the white chocolate well. Will have to return again next time we're in Leavenworth! read more

A tradition for my family to stop in here to build our own box during our annual Christmas trip. We love their chocolate and are always greeted with consistent customer service. Every employee we have come across has been knowledgeable about the chocolate and easily share their recommendations. The service is really good. The lady that helped me with selecting the chocolates I want for my box is super nice and offered me a free taste. The chocolates are really good, most of them are filled but the dark chocolate and the milk chocolate they use is crisp and flavorful. I regret not buying more. We also got a chocolate bar with dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate combination and my husband loved it! Not overly sweet and you can taste the real chocolate. read more

Found this place by trying chocolate covered almonds at a tasting room in Leavenworth and immediately knew I had to find this shop! I was on a mission to find those almonds but got pulled into buying a box of chocolate. The truffles are all handmade and very delicate behind a case. Great little shop. Always stop in to grab their pear cinnamon caramel whenever I'm in town.

Yummy fudge with a great selectionand great prices, excellent service, and great ambiance. I recommend.

I haven't been to Leavenworth in years. The only place I liked there the last time I visited was a chocolate place called shocolat. It's actually some of the best tasting chocolates I've had, and I've tried a lot around the world. But unfortunately, it's not very close to drive to all the time. It's actually a little over a two hour drive. However, recently my youngest, and her bestie decided to drive to Leavenworth during pandemic season. So she brought back some shocolats for me. Did not disappoint at all. So good! Chocolates are creamy, handcrafted, and just delicious! To be honest m, that's the only please in Leavenworth I like. I didn't care for a lot of the restaurants, I had better food in Germany. I don't care for snow, so I'd have to visit spring or summer. Reminds me of a smaller Solvang. But Shocolats is a must when visiting. read more

I love chocolate but sometimes when you get all the different variations in there you typically don't like some of them. Every single one that I picked out was fantastic and delicious! We returned after remembering the delightful "back of the store chocolaterie" from 9 years ago! $15.50 for a personalized box of 9 melt-in-your-mouth handcrafted chocolates. That's a good price! The banana cream (coated in nuts) was so delicious! The young lady who waited on us recommended it, and she was right. Luckily, we arrived to a short line. If you have been reading, you know that Fried Chicken is my weakness but did you also know that CHOCOLATES are a close second? Shhhhh, let's keep that between you and me, okay? This past weekend, Schocolat was my destination. This boutique chocolate store shocked the heck out of me. I like Fran's, Godiva's, Rocky Mountain Candy Store, See's Candies, and others but Schocolat's handmade Bon Bons in a fine European style stole the show. The 9 piece assortment for $12.50, a reasonable price for fine chocolate. My batch? Rum Raisin, Salted Caramel, Sunshine Coast Truffle, Passion Fruit, White Chocolate, Toasted Coconut, plus a host of other names I cannot remember. Every single piece of chocolate melted deliciously in my mouth and as the outer shell disintegrated, a smooth, silky ganache center further blankets the tongue, pampering it with rich flavors like a relaxing massage to a tired body. BONUS: They offer to wrap & hold the chocolate for you there until later so it won't melt while you walk around the Bavarian village shops. That proved to be an excellent idea during the hot summer day and I was able to enjoy the chocolates on the ride home in its original, solid state. Last of all, just the name Schocolat is plain sexy and sultry, don't cha think? Easy 5 stars. ______________________ By the way, a few of the photos posted show items from a shop that leads to the chocolate stand. read more

The chocolate here is AMAZING. But all German chocolate is freaking amazing. To get to the chocolate, you have to enter through another store then walk to the back to reach Schocolat. It's a small place but wow, so spectacular. You can ask for a sample of anything. They have all kinds. I am trying to lose weight but when the manager gave me a sample, I died and gave in along with my willpower. You can't go wrong with anything that you buy.
