Pizza was very good. Came in and the pizza was ready in less then 10-12 minutes. Very quick service. They have a nice selection of hot and cold drinks. And a variety of food in there menu. And the ambiance is very calm and chill.

Stayed at Howard's Inn for a basketball tournament and went over to the Bakery for something for breakfast. Got a great ham and cheese croissant and coffee. Really happy with how good the croissant was for only $5. Then that evening we needed something for dinner and realized that the bakery also does pizza! Got a large Carne and a small cheese for the kid. It was excellent!

This place does not disappoint! Great service, the best espresso I've had since leaving home, and the baked goods are perfection.

Excellent raspberry turnovers! There is so much more to this "bakery" than meets the eye. They have breakfast items, lunch, sandwiches, pizza, salads, soup and I'm sure a few other things that could satisfy your craving. The bakery items looked amazing and I absolutely loved the turnover. My breakfast burrito had almost no flavor and was very bland until I added some hot sauce. I won't get that again. My husband got a turkey sandwich and he said it was very good. The outdoor seating is plentiful with shade and sun options. I did not see indoor seating. You order up at the counter and then given a vibrating pager that goes off when your order is ready. There is a stage outside for live music too. This is my husband's go to when in the area.

Not fancy, but gets the job done!

Local bakery offering caffeinated drinks and baked goods. Friendly staff and a good respite from camp food. It tastes fresh and local. Recommended!

Pizza, Greek Salad, Italian Panini, with salad. All were very good.

Wonderful food. Stayed at Howard's on the river. Called and ordered food to go. Just a 5 minute walk. Only took 20 minutes. Also got a loaf of their 5 grain fresh bread. Delicious. Had a personal cheese and basil pizza, 1/2 Greek Salad, and Italian Panini. Salads were very fresh and crispy. Great vinaigrette dressing. Can't wait to go back.

I'm so incredibly glad that multiple friends told me to check it out because I listened and not only visited but made a point to stay in Mazama which allowed me to soak in the full experience of this magical remote mountain town. The Mazama Store is located right in the center of town (which feels like something out of a postcard) and offers so much more than I thought. It's a rustic yet curated general store with a mix of groceries, local wines and craft beers, gifts and artisan goods, fresh baked treats, a coffee bar, hot food, outdoor gear, and even gas pumps outside. There's also a trail register for the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) thru-hikers which I could have stood and read for hours. Overall, the Mazama Store is part cafe, part supply stop, part community hub - and 100% worth the visit. I started my experience by snagging one of their famous sea salt baguettes (absolutely live up to the hype and then some) and then wandered outside to place a coffee and lunch order. I was pretty hungry after hiking Maple Pass Loop and driving over to Mazama so I opted for a Caramon latte and a pulled pork sandwich, which much to my delight was served on a heavenly sea salt baguette. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. Honestly, I can't tell you which part of the meal was my favorite because everything was so good!! We grabbed a table in the shade outside and enjoyed our food while watching hikers, bikers, and families filter in and out of the store and dining area. The vibe was super relaxed and friendly. Whether you're stopping in after a long hike, fueling up for an adventure, or just soaking in the beauty of the North Cascades, the Mazama Store delivers on all fronts. I just wish I was able to hike more in the mountains surrounding Mazama and/or that this place didn't close at 6pm! Overall, it is pretty rare to find a place that blends all that the Mazama Store is so effortlessly. It is a true gem and if you're even thinking about passing through Mazama, make this a non-negotiable stop. And, of course, do yourself a favor - grab an extra sea salt baguette... you'll thank me later!

On day one, my friend and I made a pitstop during a bike ride and split the marionberry pop tart which was huge and as delicious as it sounds - flaky and not overly sweet. The next day, we went back and shared the cinnamon bun (which lives up to the hype) and a slice of quiche that was flavorful, filling, and a great balance of hearty and light. I also ordered a hot latte which gave me the energy I needed for another day of exploring! The service was a little hit or miss - friendly but inconsistent. With my husband having…read morea German mother, he spent his childhood there, and we've perused several bakeries in town--this is the only truly authentic one. The bakery is old and small with limited seating, which actually reminds us of the authentic grab-and-go spots in Germany. We always go for the Bienenstich (bee sting cake). The server at the counter was really sweet and helpful; she cut us a big 'ole slice knowing we were sharing. We devoured that incredible slice, which delivered a perfect bite of creamy vanilla custard nestled between soft yeast cake and a crunchy, caramelized honey-almond topping. The contrast of the smooth filling and the sticky, nutty 'sting' makes for a truly memorable dessert experience, perfect every time. We also snagged a mini pretzel loaf. We were only missing mustard, but honestly, my husband said it was so good it didn't even need anything. It was fun to see the baker hard at work making bread, and the whole place smelled amazing.
