    12" pizza

Stopped at East 20 Pizza after hiking in the cascades. It definitely hit the spot. Thin crust, fresh pizza. My husband and I shared the 12" 3 topping pizza and it was the perfect amount of food. Hospitable service, family friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Great pizza, cute outdoor seating, mid service. Not much else you can ask for after a long day of hiking! Would recommend.

We arrived during happy hour so we had to order some discount breadsticks. We also ordered a 16 inch pizza half Bellamini with bacon and half Sweet n Spicy Sausage. I found the sweet n spicy pizza to be more spicy with little to no sweet. It was good but unexpected. Between the two my favorite was the Bellamini. But I think the real winner are the breadsticks. The service was great. Fast to take our order. Service with a smile. And the ambiance was very casual.

The beer is ice cold and the American Lager is very refreshing!

We've driven past East 20 for years but never had the chance to stop in and enjoy their pizza until now! It was well worth the wait! Service was great, wish I would have gotten her name, she deserves a shout out! They were completely packed on a Wednesday night and she was just lovely. Stopped long enough to chat, never seemed too rushed to enjoy our company and stayed on top of everything. We ordered a couple beers that came out ice cold and quick and two 12" pizzas so we could have breakfast in the morning! The pizzas are delicious! We both got pizzas with peppers on them so we had a spicy experience! I added pepperoni to mine and it's put on top of the main ingredients so it got a little toasty and delicious, it really brought out the flavor! Hubby added bacon and jalapenos to his and almost didn't have breakfast, it was that good! We sat outside and even on a hot evening the shade and breeze kept us comfortable. We'll definitely make it a must stop every time we're in Winthrop!

Really good pizza !!! Staff was very attentive and helpful.... The place was packed even on a Wednesday night ... food came out fast and the lemonade was to die for !!!!

    The pizza is great

A perfect pizza place with great ambiance, we ate out on the deck. Excellent friendly waitress. Great variety of pizzas to choose from and the salads were great too. Get the mud pie and share it! A nice selection of beers on tap. Looking forward to coming back.

    Half Thai, half Puttanesca.

Nom nom nom! I accidentally ended up in Winthrop for the second weekend in a row (don't ask!) with pizza cravings in tow. My local friend recommended East 20 and it really hit the pizza spot for sure. We started with a couple of beers. LOVED that they had some classic local craft brews on tap. Then we moved on to a large half-and-half pizza. The first half was their Thai (with the spicy cashews on top) and the second was their Puttanesca. Both were good but the Thai was exceptional. Topped with massaman curry sauce, mozzarella, basil, chicken, red bell pepper, peanuts, spicy pineapple, white onion, and fresh cilantro. It was spicy and delish. I would definitely order this again! The Puttanesca, which we ordered with sausage, featured red sauce, mozzarella, capers, pepperoncinis, black and green olives, tomatoes, and garlic. It was definitely tasty but if I got it again I'd order it with extra sauce, as it seemed a bit try. The service was super friendly, and I'm giving them a bonus star for their wildly entertaining "East 20 TV" channel which is impossible to describe but also mesmerizing with its dizzying choices of odd competitions and assorted strange videos to watch!

I found the pizza to be bland and hardly any cheese. I got the order to go & was disappointed with the pesto chicken I ordered.

Pizza and breadsticks were both delicious. $3 for a canned soda which was a bit disappointing. Friendly staff.

I was visiting the area and attended over the lunch hour this past weekend. Hands down one of the…read moreworst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers were incredibly kind and friendly, but the restaurant owner was a different story. We had a yummy basket of fries and a nice chat with our server. After receiving our pizza, both myself and my friend thought that the pizza tasted and smelled of cigarettes. The sauce was very acidic and chunky, and overall unpleasant to eat. We each tried one slice, I couldn't finish mine- before deciding that we really couldn't enjoy it. We let our server know as much and offered to pay for a half pizza/kids pizza (still paying as expected for the rest of our food/drinks), and he said that he would have to ask his supervisor about our request. When "JP" came out, it was clear he had been drinking. He became argumentative quickly- claiming that we just didn't understand how oven fired pizza was supposed to taste, that we were clearly trying to dine and dash, and eventually told us to just "see what happens" and to not pay and leave. He took a photo of us which we asked him to delete (he didn't- he posted us on the business Facebook page- see attached, I've removed my friend's face) and told us he could do "anything he wants" since he was the owner. In all of the breath he spent yelling at us, he could have offered a better solution, or just kindly told us there was nothing he could do. I asked the server if we could just pay and move on- he told us it was fine/on the house, and it seemed like dealing with a drunk for a boss wasn't out of the ordinary. I am sorry to see this kind of unprofessional behavior from someone who claims to have been in the restaurant industry over 30 years. Save your time and the headache and go to Meza or Three Fingered Jack's. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed the food immensely at both locations.
