Each year when we Omak, there's always one night of the trip, where we are too tired to go out to a restaurant, and opt to enjoy pizza in the hotel room. When that happens, we invariably visit Hometown pizza. There is another national conglomerate chain pizza company just across the parking lot, but we prefer this restaurant to that one. It's definitely not cheap chain store pies... Things caused a couple of extra bucks here, but the quality is better and you get what you pay for. This is the only "pizza parlor" in town, and they know it. That said, they make a great pie, with my favorites, being the vegetarian, and the everything but the kitchen sink style meat lovers. Worth your time to come here. Especially if you're hungry. Bring an appetite. read more

Only giving this two stars because the pizza isn't the worst thing. I understand only having one server (although there was help) Service is absolutely horrible. You have to wait over a half an hour just to get drinks and over an hour to get food. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the service was better, having full 30 minute conversations with the table behind us while we're trying to check out isn't something that I like to have to put up with. This is currently the best pizza you can get in Omak and the surrounding area. It is the only pizza parlor left here. The rest have closed. The service is great if you spend, if you do not it seems to slide down a notch or two. Waited 45 minutes for a lunch order. Good thing I had nothing else to do. They did not discount it or offer any type of recompense, either, which blew my mind. I didn't even get an apology. They stopped delivering so that's a no go and unless you want to spend a small fortune on an Uber, thems the breaks. No doordash either as none of the locals want to pay doordash. It has to be the cheapest situation I have seen in a long long time. An entire area that refuses Doordash at non-chain stores due to them actually charging for their delivery service yet they refuse to pay a delivery driver a living wage so no delivery for you! The Ambiance of the place is old school pizza parlor but way larger. Seats and tables are the same. Lighting is the same. Nothing special that way but it is clean and serviceable. read more

Go to Hometown Pizza for their excellent pizza. I have no thoughts on their service or ambiance, as I always phone in my order for pick at the drive-thru. The crust is delicious, chewy, and well baked. The amounts of cheese and toppings are substantial but not heavy. The way Hometown Pizza cuts their pizzas--into many thinner slices, and thoroughly so you don't have to rip pieces apart by hand--should be how every pizzeria does it. read more

we have been customers over the years but the quality of the food preparation is pure negligence. we ordered 3 different items. a small cheese pizza, a Hawaiian calzone, and my French Dip which should have been served with French fries not chips. my sandwich bread was horrible because they cooked it first and wrapped it in foil, and the bread had gotten soggy and flat while the other two items we're cooking. this will be our last time eating from here. It's common sense to cook first the food which takes longer, then the pizza and last my sandwich. I will not recommend eating here. read more

Hometown pizza has struggled in its past years of service, in efficiency and or lack of quality. But my personal opinion is that it's the best pizza joint in town. Forget Pizza Huts greasy pizza, and taking and baking a Papa Murphy's. Hometown has a nice rustic feel that, (yes could use a little updating), but otherwise is a nice place for the family and or a birthday celebration. Right next door is a bowling alley that recently got new owners that have done an outstanding job maintaining the facilities. This is a good stop if you're looking for some comfort food, burgers and fries, to Italian food and salads. This place has options. read more

I like to get the pizza here every week. I actually order the same thing every time I go in. The waitress/counter girl never remembers my regular order. I would recommend going in at night or on Fridays when the service is much much better. I am taking off a star today because of the lack of good service and the place falling apart. Cushions are ripped up really bad and the tables are crooked and wobbly. One of the booths actually leans back and a kid could fall over and get hurt if they were playing on it. When we arrived at Hometown Pizza at 8 pm on a Monday night, a crowd of teens was just leaving, which left us as the only people in the restaurant. I went for the salad bar, which wasn't bad - standard stuff, although you aren't allowed to go through more than once and the plates aren't very big (so I crafted my pile of salad very carefully). My husband ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza and some cheesy breadsticks. 40 minutes later, still the only people in the restaurant, we had not received any food. And none of the employees had come over to us to apologize or give any explanation. When my husband complained about the wait, the woman who had taken our order confessed that she had put the order in her pocket and then gone on break without giving it to the kitchen. She also confessed that she keeps doing this (oops). She was very apologetic, but only after he said something. We did get the pizza for free, but we wouldn't go back, especially since it sounds like this is a regular occurrence! As for the quality of the food, it was ok, but again, nothing to go back for. However, if you want some solid pizza and don't mind risking some spotty service, you'll probably do fine there. read more

They had good food and a little play area for your little ones if they are antsy. Our group had spaghetti, French dip, and a grinder. All were tasty. It is a local small restaurant with a bowling alley so a little slow but very friendly. read more

The food here is awesome , although I have to agree depending on the day the service can be a little slow .. Good food though, love the consistency.. I know exactly what I'm getting when I come here . The price can add up but I feel is worth the bill for good food . Got a medium pizza and a Caesar salad with chicken through the drive though. Pizza had decent crust, decent toppings but sauce was just awful! Basically just plain thin tomato sauce. No flavor whatsoever! I would rather have had Papa Murphy's for 1/2 the price and twice the taste! Seriously get a good sauce. Boboli sauce is amazing compared to this! Caesar salad was good and had some good bread and butter included. The bill was over $29 dollars total so a little spendy for the awful tasting pizza. Room for improvement. As far as small business pizza options in the area goes Hometown Pizza is great. Service varies depending on how busy it is, as with any business, but I've never been disappointed with service. If you're not in the mood for Pizza Hut or papa murphys it's definitely a great alternative. I think the pizza is top notch, and having lived in the SEA and DC areas, I can say it competes favorably with some of their better pizzerias. read more

Pizza is good... the wait, the atmosphere and lack of customer service is another. They only have three or four beers on tap which is disappointing and it's not anything you'd call excellent beer. We waited for almost an hour for food, staff was clueless to us trying to ask for another beer or a side and the restaurant is decorated to a lovely 80's cottage theme. This pizza place used to be very good. The pizza is still okay, but the service is terrible. My family and I used to visit this restaurant 2-3 times per week at a minimum. The last dozen or more times we were in this restaurant we had to wait nearly 20 minutes to order, refills on sodas were almost non-existent, and several times our order was wrong. read more

Not bad but not great either. Far better than any of the big chain pizza delivery restaurants. Prices were reasonable.

Very surprised at how much I like their pizza since I'm not a big pizza eater. Sicilian Chicken was delicious and their dough was perfect :)

I'm from the east coast, so no pizza on this side of the Rockies is really good pizza, lol. However, of all the pizza I've eaten since moving here, this is the best, and closest to good old east coast pizza. in the US id score them a 6/10 but in this area they're a solid 10. read more

Our family used to go a couple times per week. My son really liked it. Service has been going down hill for a while now. We ordered pizza, spaghetti and bread sticks. Took 45 minutes to get the bread sticks. That's when we were told they had no more spaghetti and after an hour we got our pizza. Unless the service changes we won't be back. read more

Hit or miss on service. Salad bar is also hit or miss. Most of the time you can get a good salad and pizza in minimal waiting time. I've had times my pizza was burnt and I've had times the pizza was perfect. Better than chain restaurants but could be improved. I'd recommend trying it out. read more
