I have been going here for years. Although I don't do my big shopping at the store just because the prices are rather high on a lot of things. I'll drive the extra few miles to Walmart for that. The good: close by for grabbing some milk and things you need just a couple items at a time to save the gas rather than going to Walmart, so it is a convenience having it close by. The bad: a lot of the things I normally buy at a grocery store are almost doubled in store. I have bought fresh seafood and it was bad. For instance, I bought 2 pounds of fresh shrimp the other day and it had a sell by sticker for the 11 July and I bought it on 3 July.. took it home put it in the refrigerator and on 5 July. My refrigerator stunk so bad it almost made us sick. I took the shrimp out and they were completely gone. 100% bad. I took them back up to the store right away, and I won't go into detail, but the manager and one of the checkers treated me almost like this was my fault. The checker smelled the shrimp that were in the paper bag, and in a plastic bag and almost threw up. And then got upset with me cause I had him smell them. And also commented this is the third time people have brought shrimp back this weekend.. the manager seemed awful upset with me and never even once apologized and made it seem like it was a hassle. I had to change them out. I will never buy seafood in that store again cause I've heard this multiple times from other people. I figure I spent my money up there, they could have at least respected me and not treated me so bad. So from now on I'll drive the extra few miles and go to Walmart for anything I need So bottom line: unless you don't give a crap about prices, this s store isn't the place to stop maybe just to get cigarettes maybe milk and they do have a subway in there if you need a sandwich but other than that, expect very high prices and this isn't just my opinion this is the talk of the town. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! My father in law purchased spoiled food from this store (more than once). When he brought it back, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, he was blamed for their mistake, even though they shared with him that other customers were returning the exact same batch with the exact same problem. The spoiled food was bad enough, but the rude, arrogant, and dismissive attitude from both staff and management was even worse. They showed zero concern for the quality of the food they were selling or for the customers who bought it. Apparently, admitting they were wrong was less important than treating paying customers with disrespect. If this is how they handle legitimate complaints, imagine how they handle the problems you don't catch. Spend your money somewhere that values its customers and stands behind the products it sells. In my opinion, you're far better off driving to Walmart in Chelan than risking your money or your health shopping here. read more

This grocery store was alright - served our needs on a road trip fine. We had gotten off the freeway while driving from Spokane to north cascades national park because we wanted coffee. We went to a shop across the street but it had a long line and was drive thru only so we came to this grocery store since we needed to use a bathroom too. We got a couple Starbucks mocha drinks and used the bathrooms. The selection is decent but a little limited by my standard; we went to the deli to see about getting some cold pasta/veggies to have for lunch in the national park but they only had like 3 or 4 options. Otherwise they have like fried chicken, potato wedges, Asian bowls, tacos, etc - none of which we really wanted plus the tacos/bowls wouldn't travel well (hence only 3/5 stars). The cashier was very nice though, and they had plenty of parking in the lot out front. It was about a 10ish minute detour off the freeway to get here so tbh if in the same situation I would've opted to stop somewhere else to save time/gas on the road. We stopped to get a few bags of groceries, the check out lady was nice until we got home and discovered she had not given us a whole bag of groceries. We were in the parking lot for awhile after leaving the store as we had just been camping and had to put everything away. No one came out to give us groceries. Never shopping there again. read more

Don't even bother dude... the whole place was shit I saw flys in the produce sections, some of the cereal boxes were open. This Fat mf (employee) treated me like shit I just asked " where the unopened boxes of cereals?" He told me to fuck off and so yeah....just don't even bother this place at all.... read more

Groceries are WAY over priced, every cashier I've gone to here has been very unfriendly and actually looked legitly mad to even be working. Even if I offer a hello, I usually get a blank stare back. Its too bad that this is the only real grocery store for miles. read more

I live in Brewster and I Buy 90% of my groceries in this store I love all the staff in this store so friendly and makes you feel very welcomed. I have shopped all the different departments in this store. from the meat department which is low in price plus fresh meat also the vegetable department has fresh produce that is very delicious and also fresh, also have ordered the subway and things from the deli like their Pizza always makes mine exactly how I want it. And the Bakery is topped knots and they have a beautiful flower department and spirit area for your alcohol need I don't drink myself self but their display is awesome. and everything is easy to find. I give this store five stars. I hate going to Walmart you can't ever find anything and they are more expensive! Most of the time I get a better buy in my local store. I prefer supporting my local stores. read more

Great neighborhood market. The people are very friendly, and I think they 'try' harder then anyone else to get the best meat and produce. No need to slam this store. If you want fresh halibut... they'll get it for you. I've had them cut special cuts of meat and never a problem. The groceries are higher then Walmart, but the 40 miles drive you save one way is worth it.... read more
