The inn got new ownership and the restaurant was just renovated. Today was opening day and as inn guests breakfast was 50% off (which is an amazing deal!) each plate was $5 and includes a coffee or juice which is an amazing deal!!! The favorite hands down was the breakfast sandwich. The Asiago bagel was super soft and fluffy. Other great options are the Rick's gutbuster, the frittata, and the biscuits and gravy. We got the lemon blueberry ricotta pancake which was ok (would love more lemon flavor and ricotta fluff) but can't complain for $5 a dish! We also got to sample some biscotti which was very tasty. I had an incident where I was uncomfortable at the park and so I walked into the cafe to be around people until the person who made me uncomfortable left. I came here to try their famous cinnamon rolls, and was happy to be able to snag one at ~11:30 am on a Sunday. The cinnamon roll was a big let down - 1) too strongly overpowered wit nutmeg and 2) the middle, which is usually the best part of a roll, was so undercooked it was raw and inedible. They are huge and the frosting is good, but I would not recommend it. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good breakfast spot. I haven't had anything other than breakfast so I'm unable to comment on lunch or dinner if they have it. Mike, our hostess and the manager was super accommodating, very helpful and even brought us a couple samples of things to try that they will possibly be adding to their menu in the future. Service and food were great! All plates come with a side of fruit and rosemary potatoes that taste very fresh compared to the busier, bigger breakfast spots in Chelan. My iced mocha was so good and the views of the park were really nice. Wanted to support local but this place was a big let down. There was a hair in my food, TWICE! After they remade it there was a hair again. The biscuits and gravy were also not good. We were met by Donna, owner and hostess of the restaurant. This adorable, cozy, little restaurant has everything neatly available to the customer. Only open on weekends right now, they are still in there working and reorganizing. If they are there when you stop by Donna will make you a latte, coffee, tea or even one of there many wine selections or even a mimosa! When in Chelan, you must dine at The Riverwalk!! There is usually a line and wait for the scrumptious goodies, but it's soooo worth it!! While you stand in line to order you get to admire the freshly baked goods and more than likely you add a snickerdoodle cookie to your order...at least I did and I'm normally not a cookie person. The food and drink was okay. I ordered a lox salmon bagel. The bagel didn't taste or have the same texture like a bagel, but was more bread bun and soft. It had too much cream cheese which overpowered the salmon. The iced chai tea tasted a bunch of milk and not much chai flavors. Love this place for basic breakfast items! We had a group of 12 and several of them ate here more than one morning while we were on vacation. You pay at the counter and then go sit down and wait for your order, indoor or outdoor seating. We tried the biscuits and gravy, French toast and cinnamon roll (to go) which were all super tasty. With that and two coffees was about $60 so a little on the pricier side but good quality food. The staff was also very friendly, we'll come back again. read more

You could tell the cafe was a popular place for brunch in Downtown Chelan as the wait was around 45 minutes for food. Drinks however came very quickly so it was nice to be able to enjoy some mimosas while we waited. Once the food came, it was delicious! We got the Green Goodness scramble and the Swisster bagel sandwhich. They serve this interesting White desem toast that's almost like a sourdough but a little more dense, with some butter, you can't go wrong. I've never stayed at the Inn but this is my second time going to the Cafe and I enjoyed it. Definitely be prepared to wait if you decide to go on a weekend. read more

This was such a nice surprise. You enter from the side and order at the counter. I ordered the lox bagel and my partner ordered a breakfast wrap. I got a passion fruit tea, and we got some sweets as well: one that is close to an Oreo and another close to a cinnamon bun. You do seat yourselves, and we sat outside. It was such a nice morning, and this place was busy! I loved loved loved my lox bagel and couldn't help but dance as I eat. The passion fruit tea was also so refreshing. The sweets were delicious, and we couldn't get enough of this. We didn't know if we were supposed to put away our own dishes, but my partner put it in the bins anyway. Dogs are allowed outside. Yelp states they open at 7. Updated 2 weeks ago. The sign on the door say 8. They opened at about 8:05. There was no menu and the menu here they said wasn't theirs. They finally hung their chalk board menu (the same as posted here by the way) we ordered their famous cinnamon roll. Big enough for a large family coffee and barn yard scramble. The cinnamon roll was large and tasty. The oatmilk latte Was also good. The barnyard scramble with avocado was very good. So all in all the food exceptional. The servings are large big enough to share. Service and opening not so exceptional. The staff was friendly just in no hurry to get going. We were 3rd in line and our order took 1/2 hour. The cinnamon roll and coffee came out within 5 min. All in all a pleasant experience. The patrons all were Friendly and we made new friends in the wait. They have indoor and out door seating. I went for the vegan hash and was absolutely impressed with the flavors, the fresh made bread, and the fruit! Not many places will include grapefruit, I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was outgoing and friendly. Baked goods were solid. The downside was the main lunch items. The pork sandwich was way smaller than you would expect for $15. The tiny bun was mainly stuffed with sauerkraut with only a small amount of pork. My wife had the veggie wrap, which seemed rather mild flavor with a good portion of the filling being cucumber. Rather bland. Could have used something - even as basic hummus or some more variety in veggies. For the price, we expected better food. Stayed here for the weekend and it was great! You will need earplugs and it is pretty small if you get the one bedroom, but it was good for me. The cafe is in the front and there is almost always a line. The smells that waft toward your room in the mornings beckons you to come try all the things baked and frosted. I tried the giant cinnamon roll and it was divine! I highly recommend breaking your diet, your fast, your health plan for this. - I did. Drip coffee was very decent. Service was minimal (counter service only, grab your own plasticware and coffee, but they'll bring out your food). Breakfast tacos looked good. I think that there were really only one or two vegan/vegetarian options on the menu, but probably quite a bit could be modified to meet dietary needs.
