    Ham & Cheese croissant

Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by either the pastries or the ambiance of this bakery. The pastries were subpar and I was surprised that we needed to microwave them ourselves. I love crispy pastries; unfortunately, there was not even a toaster oven for us to use, so everything was soggy and limp. The cinnamon roll was big but bland and dry, and needed more frosting. The quiche was slightly rubbery and the ham cheese croissant tasted mediocre. The space had concrete floors and cardboard boxes in the corner which made the interior feel carelessly done. What I did seriously appreciate was how the cashier gave me 2 pieces of quiche for the price of one ($5). She was friendly and generous and made me feel welcome. I also liked how they have loaves of bread for sale and a discounted section for day-old pastries (on the shelf underneath the small selection of regular ones at the counter). It was nice to sit at the stools looking out the window, looking through their local travel brochures and seeing homemade earrings for sale. I was surprised and disappointed in my experience after seeing the rave reviews on Yelp, but am glad this place exists.

The coffee was perfect and the danish was delicious- Not overly sweetened which I love! So many options it was hard to choose between sweet pastries, breakfast sandwiches on homemade bread, bagels and quiche. I can wait to come back next time I'm in Chelan.

Wonderful little bakery tucked into a small strip mall near the lake. We came here on a Tuesday morning before hitting the road around 10 am and were treated by a delicious display of artiasan goods. Everything from macaroons to chocolate croissants to cookies and quiches. The decision was rough but we decided on an almond bear claw, a chocolate croissant and ham and cheese croissant. They all were delicious and did not disappoint. We also ordered 2 cappuccinos which were made perfectly, their barista was skilled with packing the grounds and using the perfect temperature to steam the milk. The bear claw was filled with delicious almond and baked crispy on the outside. The croissants were both made with real butter and were buttery and flaky and baked crispy as well. Overall a delectable experience and we will definitely be back next time in chelan. If we lived in chelan they would definitely take all our money!

Sausage Breakfast Bagel Sandwich, Croissant, Apple Turnovers, Fruit and Cream Cheese Danish

Delicious!! I have been coming back to Chelan every summer and never knew this bakery was here ! Let's start with the pastry! My mom had a Apple turnover and she loved it! She doesn't have the best appetite being 85 but she devoured it ! We also took home a croissant and blueberry pastry and it was really light and flakey. Lunch sandwich made at home with the croissant was really good. Let's talk about the breakfast bagel. I ordered on a artisan cheese bagel and sausage and it was just really delicious. The sausage was a tad spicy and the eggs were premade but two pieces of egg on my sandwich! What a great source of protein and a start to my morning. They also have ham, bacon and probably just cheese. This is my new go to in town. Super friendly service and reasonable prices ( all four $17 ). Can't wait for another breakfast bagel sandwich!

Here's what you get in each sandwich. Yum!

Worst quiche ever. Mediocre coffee. They don't have like an oven to reheat things so, microwaved the quiche and it was very un pleasant.

$17 for two coffees - a 16oz americano and 16oz latte. Crazy prices and mediocre service, we definitely will not be back.

The staff was so rude at every step of the process I thought they must be joking. I will never set foot in a Starbucks again. I spent $75 dollars and was treated like an indigent person. So absolutely bizarre in a tourist/vacation town. Shame on you. They didn't ask my name for my order just told me to go to the end of the counter and wait. So I sat my toddler on the very edge of the very end of a 10 foot long counter when a worker came and said can you please remove your child from the counter we serve food on this counter.(so many points of failure in that sentence, they literally have an entire section of the counter dedicated to food pickup that was 10 feet away, the little step system very obvious). Then the elderly cashier was trying to get my attention - never asked my name - from across the store while I'm minding my toddler at the literal other end of the store. Another customer brought it to me and they both acted like I shouldve known I was being beckoned from 50 feet away by a woman I couldn't even hear when I was standing in front of her. Then we waited and waited when the same employee came up and asked me in the same irritating voice that he had used before if we were waiting for food items I said yes, we are standing here waiting for our food items. Then he made me name off everything I had ordered which was like seven things and then he went and got them somewhere else like over by the cash register and basically walked over and flung them down in front of me. I am a 59 year old woman on vacation with my 3 year old granddaughter. This is the most embarrassing customer service I've ever experienced. Rude as hell.

The favorite hands down was the breakfast sandwich. The Asiago bagel was super soft and fluffy. Other great options are the Rick's gutbuster, the frittata, and the biscuits and gravy. We got the lemon blueberry ricotta pancake which was ok (would love more lemon flavor and ricotta fluff) but can't complain for $5 a dish! We also got to sample some biscotti which was very tasty. Mocha and juice was great too Service was excellent!! Donna was super attentive and the kids had pages to color. Highly recommend 5 stars and up! We will be back

It might not be the fanciest place, but it has a warm, welcoming, and super clean atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Plus, everyone here was incredibly friendly. The value you get for the price is unbeatable--our meal was exactly $15! I ordered the Breakfast Bake, which came with a fluffy frittata, roasted potatoes, and a side of fresh fruit. The frittata was packed with feta cheese, making it wonderfully savory, rich, and creamy. It was so much better than the brunch we had at another spot the day before! My friend ordered the Gutbuster, which was a hearty, delicious scramble-style dish. Looking around, it seemed like a lot of other tables were ordering pancakes or bagels as sides, which looked amazing too. Definitely stop by this cafe for a perfect, budget-friendly brunch during your trip!

Lake Chelan doesn't have much in terms of high-quality vegetarian or plant-based gourmet options, but Bear Foods was a massively delightful surprise! The store is absolutely PACKED with things that I wanted to look at and take home. I was impressed with how many things they stocked that were items I've only seen online and never seen sold in stored. We took a super long time through the coffee and tea isle and ultimately took a few boxes and tins home with us because their selection was so good. Their cheeses and gourmet snacks area was well stocked, and I could see how some of the vacationing non-locals could keep a business like this afloat even with their considerable prices. I really wanted to go back, but we were in the area for a wedding and our timeline just didn't allow it to happen. Otherwise, I probably would have brought home a lot more of their amazing goodies! Only downside for me was that during our time there, there was a mask mandate, and not a single person working there was masked. I thought that was an odd thing to have despite the state's requirements and especially because they were a grocery store and having significant contact with patrons. Other than that, it was a really positive experience and I would absolutely return.
