We came here twice during our visit to Leavenworth, and the second time the friendly lady at the restaurant recognized us and even remembered what I had the day before. I loved my plate. The Bavarian is a nice savory hearty choice for meat lovers, or for those who have a long eventful day of ahead of them. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. The portion was huge for me, and I'm not someone with a small appetite. I ended up sharing most of the potatoes with my vegetarian partner, who ordered the avocado toast. Btw, he said the avocado toast was on the smaller side compared to the Bavarian, and it was actually perfect paired with another plate of sweet toast. The French toast was tasty too. I also ended up taking a few bites of it in between my Bavarian plate. In short, this is a lovely breakfast spot with friendly staff, reasonable prices, and generous portions. Absolutely delicious German Bavarian breakfast. Black drip coffee for free refill. We ordered Irish coffee, Bavarian breakfast with honey butter Waffles. The grilled potato's were crispy and smoky filled with grilled bacons' meaty aroma. Grilled mushrooms were smoky and tender. If the over easy egges could have been cooked less would be better. The honey butter mixture was not overly sweet, the butter and honey perfectly mixed together as a great topping for the crispy outside and tender inside waffles. They offered maple syrup on the side as well. The Irish coffee was filled with the aroma of the Irish whiskey but not overpowering by it. It was a great blend. The food was amazing, I had the stuffed French toast, and if you end up going, on the menu it says it's got chocolate hummus which was almost a deal breaker for me mostly because of the mix of garbanzo beans and chocolate, but it turned out so good. We came here for brunch. You wait outside for hostess to seat you but there was no line so it was quick. To the right is for 21+ and then the left side is family friendly. We went to the right and it's high bar stool tables which was fine. I got the pineapple mimosa which was fine and then the louis omelette without cheese and onions.
