The place is very casual. We had a country fried steak and eggs and a Monte Cristo. Both were very good. It a tourist area but the CFS was a too expensive. Everything else, and the service was great.

Great breakfast spot, cane during off season so not busy. Cozy, great country music, and friendly staff. The food was amazing, great taste, and quick service. We loved everything we ordered, wish we could've ordered an additional dish but we were stuff.

Had the chicken Caesar salad and it was SO good. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy, the greens were super fresh, and there was the right amount of parmesan, egg, and crunchy croutons. Dressing on the side was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy. My husband had the smash burger and fries, and that looked just as amazing -- crispy edges on the burger and perfectly cooked fries. Fresh, filling, and didn't feel like "just a salad." Definitely ordering this again!

Decided to stop by Louie's Cafe for breakfast before heading out of Leavenworth. This is a great spot if you're hoping for a cozy quick bite to eat. Our waiter was super patient and was able to seat our party of 8. We placed our order and the food came out pretty quickly. Loved everything we ordered, especially the breakfast potatoes that came with our entree. The country fried steak was hot and crispy on the outside and the salmon for the Benedict was fresh. It was a perfect way to end our trip.

This was a good brunch meal in Leavenworth. There was a 30 min wait when we stopped by at 11:30am on a Sunday. Server was nice. Food was ordered when we were seated and it came out relatively fast. I ordered the bacon eggs benedict. It was good. The arugula was fresh and the bacon was cooked nicely. Would come back for brunch if I was in the area.

You and your party have to wait outside because the dinning area is so small and there is no room to wait inside. We were seated immediately as there was no one else waiting before us. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Our food came out fast and it was delicious! Everyone in my family agreed that the chicken waffles dish was the best! We would definitely come back next time we are in Leavenworth.

pretty tasty breakfast place. we enjoyed all the food. service was quick and friendly. i wish they had a bathroom. small dining area

    Honey Waffle! Was amazing!!!!

I'll be honest I almost let the 3.8 star rating talk me out of coming here. In a town like Leavenworth where nearly every place is competing for attention that number can make you second guess things. I'm really glad I didn't listen to it. This place feels less like a trendy stop chasing reviews and more like a genuine part of Leavenworth itself. The kind of spot that has been quietly doing things right while the internet argues over minor details. From the moment we walked in it felt comfortable welcoming and authentic. Not touristy. Not rushed. Just solid. The service was exactly what you hope for when you are in a mountain town. Friendly without being overbearing attentive without hovering and genuinely kind. You get the sense that the staff actually cares about the place and the people who walk through the door whether you are a first time visitor or someone who has been coming here for years. Now the food because that is what really matters was far better than the reviews suggested. Everything came out hot fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The flavors were balanced the portions were generous and nothing felt slapped together or rushed. This was not good for a tourist town food. It was just plain good food. The kind you remember afterward and find yourself comparing other meals to.

Louie's cafe is a must for brunch! This place usually has a wait because it's so popular. We didn't end up waiting too long. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose indoor seating since it was scorching hot the day we came to dine. Table and chairs were kind of cramped indoors with very dim lighting. Service was good but not excellent since it was a busy place. We went for the Monte cristo and it was so filling! We also got the Belgian waffle and I would highly recommend it. It's topped with whipped cream and homemade strawberry syrup. The Irish coffee was alcoholic, which was unexpected when they asked to check our ID lol. I would definitely come back if I was visiting the in the area.

3 eggs benedict, bratwurst scramble, breakfast burrito

My group of 5 waited 30 minutes for Sunday brunch. We killed time by checking out shops nearby. The restaurant interior is small and service was kind. We ordered 3 eggs benedict, 1 bratwurst scramble, and a breakfast burrito. Everyone liked their food. I thought the bratwurst in my scramble was quite dry and I was expecting it to be juicy. The portions were good nonetheless and I took home leftovers. I'd revisit if I'm in the area again.

Get there early, they are popular. Our waiter was fun and great. We had mimosas and a coffee cocktail, all were good. The McDeezy burrito was stuffed full of eggs, sausage and cheese. This as delicious and filling. The Monte Cristo was not made the traditional way, it was more like French toast with sandwich filling. It was good. The avocado toast was delightful. Great breakfast spot.

We came here for brunch. You wait outside for hostess to seat you but there was no line so it was quick. To the right is for 21+ and then the left side is family friendly. We went to the right and it's high bar stool tables which was fine. I got the pineapple mimosa which was fine and then the louis omelette without cheese and onions. It was one of those omelette where they don't actually cook the ingredients in the egg, it's just like a burrito. It was really good though. The potatoes though were harder like didn't feel cooked through, which was disappointing. Our waiter was friendly though along with the rest of the staff.

Wow does this place need some help! I am so sad to write this review because this place was a…read morestaple in our book for so long, but today was bad enough that I am sure we will not come back. The wait here has always been long due to the size of the place, but today it was due to poor training and staffing. We walked in and these two girls are shouting at guests they are the only people working today and there is going to be a wait. Of course I sympathize. A few small tables are sat quickly but everyone else is told to wait. A party of 6 told them they were on a schedule and the waitresses told them it was fine. Being a small group we got sat, but there was a lobby FULL of people who stood there while we ate our whole breakfast. There were about 5 open tables but the waitresses didn't try to bus them and were running around like crazy and returning to the kitchen time and again empty handed. Eventually they shouted to the waiting area of people they were going to bus the whole restaurant (seriously) and seat everyone at once. Obviously no training here at all because the kitchen must have had no orders for 30-45mins and all of a sudden are going to get hit with a whole restaurant of orders at once so now the wait worsens - what a mess. The table of 6 that arrived at the same time as us was sat as we were finishing, but we never served. They left un-fed after an hour and a half. The food was fine but there was no excuse for the wait (forgot to mention this is a Monday at like 10:30 so not a breakfast or lunch rush happening, also not a weekend). This place has always been a dive and totally falling apart in regards to decor but it was forgivable because the food was good. I feel bad for writing this because those poor girls were working hard but they are completely untrained and the place was understaffed. There are SO MANY fantastic new restaurants in Leavenworth they are really going to have to step up their game to survive!!

Decorated like your grandma's kitchen - no real theme, save for just stuff on the walls - not usually a big deal for me, but for some reason it was super distracting. Staff was friendly and they were constantly on the circuit with coffee warm-ups and water. Half and half are in the tiny containers - can I get my half and half in a dispenser please. Traditional breakfasts - heavy, buttery, greasy, meaty and decent portions. The food was good - but nothing really stood out. I had the chicken fried steak and the gravy was bland - no spice, or even a hint of pepper. For a waffle haus - the waffles were a bit soggy and didn't have that crisp which really holds syrup. But hey - if you are looking for some chow - then this is a decent spot.
