I ended up sharing most of the potatoes with my vegetarian partner, who ordered the avocado toast. Btw, he said the avocado toast was on the smaller side compared to the Bavarian, and it was actually perfect paired with another plate of sweet toast. The French toast was tasty too. My favorite holiday cookie is gingerbread, so was very excited there is a whole shop dedicated to it! It's like Christmas all year to me! The moment you walk in you are greeted by the cutest "gingerbread house" with gingerbread houses adoring the opposite wall that leads into the shop. Obviously no training here at all because the kitchen must have had no orders for 30-45mins and all of a sudden are going to get hit with a whole restaurant of orders at once so now the wait worsens - what a mess. The table of 6 that arrived at the same time as us was sat as we were finishing, but we never served. They left un-fed after an hour and a half. The food was fine but there was no excuse for the wait (forgot to mention this is a Monday at like 10:30 so not a breakfast or lunch rush happening, also not a weekend).
