The sister to the Enzian Inn next door. I selected this one since it was cheaper at the time of booking. We arrived around 1:30pm & decided to see if we could check in early. Luckily we could, so we were given our room keys & parking pass. My boyfriend acccidently put the card near his magnet wallet & desensitized one of the keys. The kind gentleman at the front was very nice about redoing it for us mentioning that it happens often. Our room was on the first floor, so it was very convenient being able to park right by it. The room was a bit dated , but was very clean & came with a fridge & microwave which was a plus. Breakfast is served every morning which included some pastries, cereal, yogurt, & really yummy potato casserole. There was apple juice & the cider, coffee, & tea in the lobby area. This place had a very homey feel. I thought it was really cute that the casserole was being made right there by the woman working there. It is a perfect walking distance to the village. Everyone working was kind. Would stay here again. read more

It's a great value. Yes the furnishings etc are a bit outdated but it's pretty clean and I enjoy the services like free breakfast and free coffee/tea/cider in the main office. The breakfast was pretty good. They serve from 7:30-9:30 and it's a buffet style. Standard stuff like sausages, oatmeal, cereal, fruit compote, Greek yogurt. This is a dated little inn but you probably don't go to Leavenworth for the most updated anything right? This little inn has a sweet and friendly staff that's ready to share opinions and ideas during your stay. The location was maybe a block away from little Bavarian themed city center. So park once, and just walk. Save yourself the trouble of figuring out where and how much to pay for parking. This in allow dogs and was one of the most affordable spots I found considering I was traveling shortly after the Christmas holiday. They had a small breakfast that can definitely help you get your day started. I was bummed that the hot tub was out of order. This spot is a little old fashioned so its key cards don't do well right up against magnets like many modern smartphones. I stayed in. 2 queen bed room. The beds had nice pillows and was very comfortable. There were some extra blankets that I took advantage of. If your room is near the stairs, that might be a problem for light sleepers. The stairs are constructed so that snow doesn't stack up on them, but that does mean that they can be pretty loud read more

Precious mom and pop type lodging, I believe with only 30 or so rooms. Nothing fancy, (at all) but clean and extremely welcoming. The ladies running the lobby (where you can dine and enjoy complementary coffee and breakfast) do an absolutely amazing job. Our stay at the Linderhof was great! And I'm not only talking about the location which is literally a 4-min walk from the main row of shops and restaurants. Parking is free, rooms are clean and comfortable (they looked dated online so I was nervous, but no complaints here) and the service was wonderful! We were checked in by Emily who was so sweet and kind. I had made a few requests as I was traveling with my baby and upon arrival, a crib was already in the room (Thank you!!) and Emily had a large hot water pot ready to go to heat up baby's milk. She was so accommodating, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is pretty basic but as there's not much open prior to 11am in town, it does the job. And when traveling with a baby, nothing beats the convenience of an included breakfast at the hotel. They allow you to make selections for a beverage, entree and cereal and the portions were adequate to hold us over until a late lunch. Plus, they serve Fonté coffee in the lobby which is awesome! I was sad Emily wasn't there on our checkout day, but instead I got to meet Carol, another gem! She accommodated a late checkout for us due to baby's nap and was so kind in every interaction! I did make my requests for room items and late checkout through Booking.com and I either received a response via email or directly when I saw Emily or Carol. Great place for families and groups. I remember staying here as a kid with my parents, aunt and cousins all in one of the loft rooms- it was so cool! Not the fanciest but the hotel is clean and comfortable. And if you've stayed at other family hotels nearby you'll probably see a house keeping theme and the gold quality standard. Plus the extended breakfast included is nice. Good stuff. I haven't stayed here recently but have met some of the staff when they help out at other hotels in town occasionally. And they have graciously let us park in the parking lot nearby more than once. They are always so friendly and have helpful tips for restaurants and things to do around town. The hotel is really convenient with complimentary parking out front and proximity to downtown is excellent. You're literally only a block or so from the main strip with most of the restaurants, shops and that gorgeous park with the gazebo and trees all lit up in lights. The town of Leavenworth does an annual tree lighting ceremony in December. The big trees in the park and most of the buildings on front street are decorated in Christmas lights from late November through the end of February. It's so beautiful and festive and you can't help but be in a good mood walking through town. The Linderhof is right there. read more

Lovely family owned inn. Excellent customer service that is rarely seen in a hotel in a touristy area. Breakfast and Putt Putt golf are included in your room stay. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms very clean. It's a short block walk into town with a crosswalk right at the hotel. The pool and hot tub are small so if that is a big deal for you then you may want to stay somewhere else. But if you want comfort and customer service at a reasonable rate this is the best deal in town. read more

I cannot rave enough about the Linderhof Inn. I got to town early the day my stay began and while my room wasn't ready yet, I was offered a space to work in the lobby with wifi, and they even offered me breakfast even though they were cleaning up. Staff kept me posted as to the time my room would be ready and even got me in well before check-in time. They also provided recommendations around town, the room was great, and you can't beat the location. I highly recommend, especially for the friendly staff! read more

Really great inn! Incredibly comfortable bed, great bedding, and the jacuzzi in our suite was AMAZING. Arrived to the room to find a bottle of sparkling cider on the bedside table, which was a great touch. Breakfast was so good, a nice spread of pastries, fruit, and french toast. Best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. Jill was very sweet, and great to talk to. The one downside is that our room seemed to be at least slightly haunted. We felt a malevolent presence in the room after dark, technology kept malfunctioning, we saw things in the shadows, and a few items seemed to move completely on their own. This made it a little hard to sleep, even with the down comforter! However, the hotel was still very nice overall, and as nothing haunting the room seemed to actually cause us harm I only detracted one star for that. Will likely stay again next year. Located just a half block from the main "action" area of Leavenworth this smaller Inn is perfectly located for your trip to the Bavarian Village area. Our room held a king size bed and we paid a bit extra for the inroom spa. It was worth the few extra bucks. Nothing like relaxing in a nice jacuzzi tub after a day of sauerkraut, sausages and beer. The staff is great. I understand that this Inn is now owned by the much larger Enzian Inn next door. But you get the small inn treatment here and we loved it. I was not expecting the really high quality hot breakfast that was served buffet style each day. And every day there were always a few different selections. One day it was biscuits and gravy, another day French Toast. There was always oatmeal with all the fixins', sausages, bagels, different muffins and scones. This Inn is great. Preface this with the fact that I did not pay for this weekend - so I'm not sure what we paid. As far as I know, it's pretty reasonably priced. I'll break this down by parts of the hotel. Customer Service: The woman at the front desk is very friendly and very attentive. Our friend wasn't there yet and he was the one with the reservation. She let us park our car early and gave us a parking pass even though he wasn't checked in yet. Overall hotel/room: We stayed in the loft room (216) and it was super nice! It had a pull out bed, murphy bed, and the loft bedroom upstairs of course. With 1.5 bathrooms, it was plenty for 4 people. The pull out bed was actually super comfortable. The only thing I thought was lacking in the room was pots/pans/cups etc. For a place that had a full kitchen, it seemed annoying to have to go to the front desk to get anything you needed to cook a meal. They had one saucepan and a keurig/microwave, and had some paper plates/plastic silverware. Amenities: The pool was nice, but was closed. Small pool that has only room for maybe 5 people or so. The hot tub left a lot to be desired and only fit about 5 people but still did the job. Was a good temperature. The sucky thing is it closed at 9PM. After wandering the town and having dinner/drinks, we really wanted to come to the hot tub and just chill out. We didn't want to impede because there's a hotel room next to it. There is an entire 18 hole championship "mini" golf course across the street. It was a serious mini golf course! It was challenging and fun, most importantly pretty. The complimentary breakfast was really good considering it was free. It's quite the spread. Location: Amazing with a few minute's walking distance from all the downtown activities. Overall worth it, definitely worth another stay at a reasonable price as I understand it. read more

We stayed at the Linderhof Inn on a Saturday night during our first visit to Leavenworth. We had a king jacuzzi room with fireplace. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and a really nice weekend escape. Pros: --In-room jacuzzi was clean, large, and in good working order with plenty of hot water --Great view of the Cascades right out our front door --Less than a block from downtown --Office staff was courteous and helpful; office offered complimentary hot drinks (Tazo teas, Seatte's Best coffee, cider, hot chocolate) --Flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and microwave were appreciated room amenities Cons: --The room had a very musty smell when we arrived. We had to go buy a candle to counteract that unwelcome action. --Very this walls...not so good any way you look at it. Be sure to check their web site for specials; we got a pretty good deal ($123+tax), but it took some convincing the skeptical employee who took our reservation over the phone. One more thing. The office provides 'all the goods' for making your very own PB&J any time. We opted for other local fare, but we thought you should know. Speaking of food, we highly recommend Munchen Haus (excellent brats and homemade mustard bar) and South (amazing guac and tacos). read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and could not have had a better experience! We had a 2nd floor room with 2 queen beds which were super clean and comfortable. There is AC in the room which was a life saver when coming back from a day of walking outside in 90 degree weather. The free breakfast from 7:30-9:30 AM had lots of variety and every day we had many options to choose from. The hotel was also across the street from all the shops and restaurants so we could go back and forth from the hotel to the town whenever we liked. Not to mention, they have complimentary putt putt golf right across the street which we would've played multiple times if we had the time! All in all, we would give this place a 10/10 and we will come back here again! read more

We recently stayed in the King with Spa & Fireplace room as part of a weekend birthday/anniversary celebration. It was such a pleasant experience that we immediately booked the same room for the same weekend next year! Here are the highlights: The room - clean - comfortable (the bed was a dream) - excellent size (enough room to put everything without feeling cramped) - well-decorated with modern conveniences (A/C unit, tv and dvd player, lots of lighting, shower/tub combo, mini fridge, microwave) and classic Bavarian touches (lampshades, etc.) - the spa tub was a special treat - the fireplace added ambiance and warmth The staff - above and beyond (even surprised us with some sparkling cider once they heard the reason for our visit) - accommodated my special request for a down alternative comforter and pillows - responded almost immediately to our request for help with the fireplace (we didn't know how to operate it) - did absolutely everything they could to make the weekend a positive experience for us The hotel - excellent location (literally across the street from downtown Leavenworth) - quiet and respectful - full of amenities (pool, hot tub, access to lovely miniature golf course) - delicious and varied hot breakfast each morning - lots of free off-street parking - well-maintained, clean, and attractive grounds and buildings The bottom line: We loved everything about the Linderhof Inn! I am amazed this place has such good reviews. We booked this hotel almost a year in advance for a wedding over the holidays in December. I booked online using a discounted rate for our party for $523 including tax for a 4-night stay, and was immediately called and told that the rate online was lower than the one I would be charged as it only accounted for single occupancy. I had clicked "2 people" when I booked, so I found that suspect, and since the room was a 2-queen, double-occupancy is generally standard. At the end of it, they tacked on an additional $40 to the room. Fast-forward to when I arrive and check in. Keeping in mind that my initial total (with double occupancy) was around $568 for 4 nights, they tried to charge me upwards of $850! That's almost $300 more, for those of you keeping track. Luckily, I had the confirmation email on hand. The teller was very nice, but explained to me that the lowest rate she could charge me was around $601, despite having the total with tax in the email as $586. So I am now paying $80 extra from my original total. Okay. The room itself was nice, if a bit dated. I thought the down pillows and blankets were a nice touch. The heater and mini-fridge groaned loudly all night long, and we were in the room below what sounded like a small herd of elephants. When the room to our right complained, the front desk told them it was a "private townhouse" and there was nothing they could do to assist. 3 days later, when I went to complain about the incessant pounding of feet, moving of furniture, etc. they told me that the room was indeed part of the hotel, had 5 children in the room, and called up to ask them to be more quiet (worked for about 3 hours). Then the front desk told me to "Request a room on the 2nd floor next time." Huh. So clearly they know it's a problem. One of our party-members was in an upstairs room, and almost called the cops because the people in the room next to them had a screaming fight that escalated to domestic violence one night, and another night the cops were called because someone was drunkenly pounding on multiple room doors in the early hours of the night. To top off a truly strange stay, when I politely asked the front desk to arrange a taxi service to the train station in the morning for me, they gave me the business card of the local shuttle and told me to do it myself. The service just keeps getting better! Given the choice, I would steer FAR clear of this place if you want to get a full-night's sleep, a fair rate, or even moderately good service. read more

Breakfast was included and was small but a good selection of cereal, outmeal, biscuits/sausage/gravy, and fruit. Coffee whenever the office was open. Pool is teeny (20 feet?). Hottub in the back. Updated motel/exterior doors which makes for easy loading in and out of your stuff/pets/kids. read more

Exceeded our expectations! My wife and I usually stay at the Enzian Inn or we rent a house with our family. On a cold Friday night in late November, we decided to just call around and see if we could grab a deal on a hotel for the night. Adventure! Adventure! The only room in the town was at the Linderhof Inn, right next to the Enzian. It was a very short walk to town. At first I was nervous because I don't like rooms with doors opening to unenclosed hallways. However, our room was warm and quiet and you would never guess the door opened to an unenclosed hallway. The room was very clean and spacious, with a flat screen television, refrigerator, couch and coffee table. The price was very reasonable for the time of year and short notice. The staff was very friendly and they put together a great breakfast spread to start you off right. read more

This was our first time to Leavenworth to gauge for Ocktoberfest by going to Ale Fest. This place was my boyfriend's pick. He did some research and it was rated pretty high on Trip Adviser. I was going for the Bavarian Lodge because it looked so pretty and they had good free breakfast :D (I know, I'm such a foodie dork) To my surprise, I have to give him a great deal of credit that he did an awesome job! We got the townhouse/loft. There were 6 of us at first then a week before our trip, it ended up 9. Luckily, when we got there, they had the townhouse right next to ours so we had our rooms next to each other. You can have up to 6 people in there and it's pretty comfy for 6 people. It was nice and clean. The beds weren't too bad either. I slept in the loft bed and that was pretty comfy. The others that slept on the murphy bed and the sofa sleeper had no complaints either. The price is really reasonable for 6 people. It's towards the end of downtown and Ale Fest was at Festhalle which was on the other end but it's not a bad walk. I'd actually prefer to stay somewhat away from downtown so it's not noisy but close enough where we can all walk. It's literally a 3-5 minutes walk to the middle of downtown. I wanted to eat at Munchen Haus and it took 3 minutes for us to walk there. We had their continental breakfast the next morning and it's not too shabby. They had scones, muffins, boiled eggs, cereal, juice, yogurt, coffee, etc. Really nice service and staff. When we checked out, I asked a few questions about their rates and Ocktoberfest in comparison to Ale Fest because we all had a blast at Ale Fest. The lady gave me lots of good information and mentioned that if we like Ale Fest, Ocktoberfest was a must do at least once to experience for yourself. We ended up booking our Ocktoberfest townhouse on the spot. They had 10 townhouses total and 8 of them were already booked. This is 6 months out. She also made sure we got the same townhouse as we did this time which I liked because I can see the streets and the beginning of downtown through our living room window. Overall, I'd high recommend anyone coming with a bunch of people to stay there. Their townhouses are an awesome choice. The location is great. The room is clean. No weird smells when we arrived. Friendly staff and good service. Comfortable and affordable. You get your money's worth. I'm sure there are more luxurious accommodations for more money but we weren't there to lounge around the hotel. We wanted a comfortable, clean and fairly close place to downtown for a bunch of people to stay in for an affordable price. This fits the bill exactly! You can park your car and not worry about it and go to town! I must admit, I am glad I caved in and went along with this option rather than the Bavarian Lodge. We stayed in a loft room with 3 adults and 3 kids. It was a little cramped, but OK! The rooms were a little dated, but very clean with nice amenities. Carol at the front desk was SO NICE, she was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was small, but the water was warm and it was very clean. And the morning breakfast was nice too! Hot breakfast food as well as cold cereal, fruit and my family all loved the cinnamon rolls. Great location too, just across the corner from downtown. Now they have a crosswalk light, which is a good safety feature. Over all, I would recommend and we will stay here again! read more

We got there hours before check-in for a family reunion conveniently across the street. I went in to see if it was possible to park in their lot since I would be checking in later that day. The beyond friendly lady at the front desk checked us in on the spot and lowered our rate! We were able to unwind from our drive and freshen up before strolling over to join our family celebrations. The room: The bed was SO comfortable!! It didn't have the top sheet, so I was really grossed out, but noticed they were in the sink/coffee area. Phew!! Instead of Styrofoam cups for everything, they had glasses for the water and To-Go cups w/ lids for the coffee. It's a little detail but a good one. The breakfast was yummy. It's hard to keep quality when cooking for the masses but they managed to whip up a big assortment of grub. read more

Needing a hotel for 6 near downtown for Oktoberfest 2013, the Linderhof townhouses were a good choice. Located within 3 minutes to town by foot, the location was ideal. Checking in was a breeze, and our overall stay was fine. Nothing memorable or noteworthy. Clean interior, although a bit dated but still charming in its own way. Why only 3 stars? Welp, we had checked out and went into town for brunch when a member of our group realized she had forgotten her souvenir Oktoberfest mug! Oh noes! And since we had seen housekeeping come around right as we were leaving our room, I figured we could stop by and pick up the mug. We went into and the front desk lady went into the office to check for said mug and told us nothing had been turned in. Ok, I guess somebody in our group must have taken the friends by accident and we'll probably find it later. Welp, an hour drive out of town and I get a voicemail (no reception) from same desk lady saying she found our mug and two sweaters in a cart downstairs. By this point, turning around would cost us two extra hours so I say "I'll just call and I'm sure they'll send it to us complementary" seeing as to how this was an overset on their end. However, on the phone, I was asked if they should charge it to the card I had on file when I initially booked the room. Gah. Package arrived promptly, but was on my dime. I'd understand paying the shipping costs if it was our "mistake" but seeing as to how they were at fault for this (small) oversight, I wouldve been more obliged to rate them higher if they picked up the shipping fees. The inn itself was just fine, staff was generally nice, and the continental breakfast was rather decent. Location is the best feature of this inn. read more
