What's up Yelpies!!! If your looking for clean, comfort, and amazing customer service, look no further. This place has it all including live music, bikes, and more. Once you park your ride you can lock it up for the duration of your trip because your in the heart of the city and walking distance to everything. Seriously the best place my wife and I have stayed in a long time. Please note you will have to be comfortable with a community bathroom. Semi dorm style. The room does have a sink and all the amenities for comfort.... I mean memory foam bed... yes not a topper but a real real comfortable bed. Forgot to mention that they give your gear for your visit to the river... who does that

I've been to Leavenworth multiple times and never realized that this place existed! During our planning we found this hotel on a whim and quickly booked it since there weren't many availabilities left. LOGE has two locations in Leavenworth: one near the riverside and this one located downtown. It's conveniently located in the heart of Leavenworth next to Waterfront Park so it's very close to the restaurants and shops. Check in is 4pm (at the cafe) and check out is 11am, and they even have free parking! It has the feel of both a hostel and a hotel. The first floor has shared amenities whereas the second floor rooms each have a private restroom/shower. The lobby has tables, games, and free wifi which definitely give off that hostel vibe. Attached to the building are Iconoclast Cafe and Doghaus Brewery. The former is open all day and serves coffee and even cocktails. The latter serves beer with plenty of outdoor seating. The first thing we saw when we walked into the room was the giant hammock spanning the length of the room. It also had a fridge with a freezer, a microwave, AC, a sink, a kettle for water, and a TV. On the side of the bed were USB outlets, phone chargers in case you forgot your own, and a headlamp. A couple complaints (from bigger to more minor): - We heard loud stomping from the floor above. We realized later that it was people walking through the hallway out the exit door which was inconveniently located right above our room. It was so loud it was booming and almost unbearable. - Our room was a little further away from the restroom/shower so every trip there was a bit of a hassle. - There was no free breakfast or even fruit but I guess that's what the cafe is for. Overall we had a nice stay. It was a good price for what you get in the downtown Leavenworth area and the facilities were clean.

Sturdy room hammock (note I'm 6'7 250) and this holds me.

Great room. They have free bike rentals and ppl here are very chill. Not many kids around which I appreciate for an adult weekend. No pool but in the heart of downtown Leavenworth.

I liked the overall stay at the hotel. The room was clean, location was great and having a coffee shop downstairs was so helpful in the morning. I cannot give 5 stars because my friend was trying to get on the hammock (as it stated we could and count as a bed) and one of the straps got loose so she dropped to the floor. As you can see in the photo, it's not a small drop. Thank goodness she landed in between the bed frames or else she would've broken something for sure. Hope they care of the safety more thoroughly.

I recently stayed at Loge hotel in downtown Leavenworth and had the best stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They gave great recommendations on places to eat, places to check out and the hotel also offered live music on Saturday night! The staff always had smiles on their faces, joked around with us and made our stay extra enjoyable. The hotel had a great space in the common area that offered games, tables to work or eat at, and very comfortable chairs and couches. It was a great meeting place to talk with friends and let my 1 year old run around and play. The communal bathrooms and other areas were also kept clean. If accidents occurred, the staff was quick to clean them or fix them. The management staff was very hands on with the guests as well which was very refreshing and helped make my stay even more comfortable because they were so welcoming towards me and my little one. I could tell that they take pride in their jobs and truly wanted to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay. I did appreciate all the amenities and things that Loge offered with my stay like the bikes, maps and the super cool hammock in my room! Also the fridge was great to put our leftovers in and snacks for the baby. Overall, I had a great stay at Loge and would totally come back and take advantage of all the things this hotel has to offer.

My wife testing out the hammock lol. An interesting novelty, but why?

Definitely an interesting experience. I would describe this place as half hostel, half hotel. It feels like a hostel in the sense that there's no frills, no amenities, and barely any contact with staff. You basically check in at the cafe on the property (there's not even a dedicated check in) and whoever is working there runs your credit card and you'll get a text later when your room is ready along with a passcode to enter your room. I'm not sure if there's room service, there doesn't seem to be any breakfast served; the whole thing is just a cold transaction to stay in a room. Once you're in your room, there's items all over the place from hats to beanies to drink holders to blankets that are marked for sale along with a guide to prices. It's strange; I've never stayed at a hotel where they stuffed a bunch of products in the room and tell you you can buy them. The room was clean but is definitely going for some strange millennial "quirky hip" vibe with a hammock strung across the ceiling and industrial finishes. They're trying to make the place more instagramable than functional. Was this the worst place I've ever stayed? Definitely not. But I'd say it's more of a place to sleep if you don't care where you stay than a hotel one should actually seek out for an experience.

Our stay here was...strange. We booked with credit card points so didn't look into it a whole lot and didn't know what to expect. I get the concept (outdoorsy, "upscale hostile" I guess?), but there were a couple key issues for us. We had a king bed room with bathroom and shower. 1. They don't have a front desk, just a barista in their cafe. They text you a code to get into your room before you arrive. Weirdly, they texted us 3 days before our arrival by mistake saying they looked forward to seeing us that afternoon. We let them know they made a mistake, which was fine, but then the code they texted us on our actual arrival day didn't work. The barista had to come up and help us and it took about 15 minutes for us to get a code that worked for our room, making us come close to missing a dinner reservation. 2. Lots of stuff for you to "try and buy" in the room (hammock, various camping/outdoor gear), yet regular hotel amenities were very minimal. In fact, our room had about a 1/4 role of toilet paper when we got there and we ran out on the second night. Couldn't find another roll anywhere and texted them but didn't get a response. The rooms are extremely sterile, just plain white walls. Mattresses are very firm. If you want a welcoming and comfortable hotel experience that matches the charm of Leavenworth, I'd try somewhere else.

There's a hammock in my room!! Enjoy Leavenworth folks, I'll just be over here snoozing! Loge is a fun, comfortable, and affordable addition to the Leavenworth lodging scene. The brand caters to the young and outdoorsy; you'll find Loge locations popping up in towns near wherever there are adventures in nature to be had. You check in at the cafe; there's no separate reception desk. But they do serve beer, which you can take up to your room. Be warned: the brewery downstairs next to the hotel patio is separately owned, and doesn't have a license to serve beer for drinking on that patio. Seems like a quirk of city licensing, and frustrating no doubt for the brewery as well as guests. But the brewery does have sone indoor seating, and will gladly serve beer in a mason jar or growler to go. In terms of features and amenities, our room had a somewhat firm yet high quality mattress, a no-frills bathroom and shower, no and a small TV with an Amazon FireTV Stick. MiniBar and electric kettle with tea and instant coffee packets that are actually pretty good (bring your own creamer!). No closet, but a clothes rod suspended from a small shelf. Decor is minimalist, in white and orange, with quirky hanging baskets of fake ivy that add a fun touch. Nightstands have no alarm clock or Gideon bible, but a USB hub with assortment of charging cables and a BioLite headlamp. All of the high-end camping gear in the room is free to use: a hammock, a lightweight quilted blanket, the headlamp, and some high quality travel mugs. If you want you can take them home with you; the hotel will simply add the price to your bill. I think the hotel offers rentals of bikes and paddle boards and such. And it's located right in downtown Leavenworth. All in all, a great stay that adds some value and variety to your lodging options here.

Stayed here for the night while visiting Leavenworth and I enjoyed it! Everything is modern and seems new! I just wish that they cleaned their sheets more thoroughly as I found hair and crumbs in the sheets that we had not even used. There were plenty of towels and pillows but like I said the pillow cases were stained and there were orange crumbs in the bed and couch. The check in process was kind of odd it seems like the place is more of a coffee shop than a hotel/hostel but we did enjoy our one night stay there.

Recently stayed at Loge Downtown Leavenworth- it was awesome! I liked the contactless entry and ease of using a door code for entry. The room was clean, minimalist design and super cool. Featured a hammock, bike racks, Loge gear and apparel for purchase and a Small Yeti cooler for us to bring down to the River! A rad local band tore it up on Saturday night on the patio- super fun ambiance. The lattes from the cafe were AMAZING. I usually drink drip coffee but found myself trying a different drink each morning we stayed (5!). Staff was kind, friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The Loge is also perfect location for River access and access to the downtown. Highly recommend staying here!

This place has a great location at the Leavenworth downtown, and the staff is welcoming. While the room and the public spaces were relatively clean, there are areas of the building and the room that also feel old. Unfortunately, our room on the first floor had a really bad creaking noise from the floor above. We had significant noises every few seconds for several 20-30 minutes durations throughout the night.

The location is wonderful as you can walk to the Leavenworth village in just a few minutes. The room was comfortable, the bed plush and plenty of pillows to choose from. Although there was an adjoining door, thankfully noise was not an issue during our stay. We had the complimentary breakfast on our first morning here, which is a nice perk of staying here. I liked the omelet with onions and peppers. The food was OK overall. We got a margarita pizza from the pub restaurant which was good. It's nice to have a food option available right in the hotel. Went into the pool once - it's located outside. It was refreshing to cool off. The size of the pool is on the smaller side, and so once people come in and get noisy, naturally it isn't so relaxing. Would've stayed in longer, but oh well. The first night, my family member told me that our room was out of conditioner and she used the little bit remaining, and that we were also low on shampoo. I went to the front desk and requested more shampoo and conditioner. The desk attendant said you just had to push the container hard (there are dispensers opposed to individual travel-size bottles). I went back to the room and only got a few drops of conditioner to use. The following day, we asked a housekeeping team member to check our dispensers. She ALSO said you just had to push the dispenser hard. But when they came to our room later that day, we saw that the dispensers had been filled up because finally there was product in each and plenty to use. Not sure why it couldn't have been fixed in the first place, and it was assumed we weren't using them correctly. Once we checked out from the hotel, my family member remarked it was strange that the person at the front desk just promptly took our two room key cards and didn't say anything, like briefly asking how our stay was, or simply just a quick 'thank you' for staying here. Maybe it was just particularly busy.... but something like that can go a long way.

I will drive to a fresh fruit stand also. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast also. The very fluffy biscuits seemed home made and the sweets(cinnamon rolls and a walnut something muffin) also appeared to be done locally. I enjoyed my cinnamon roll. Coffee was excellent, not watery. The meat protein varied and was also surprisingly very decent, not to salty. The breakfast is better than at most Hilton properties, IMHO. I highly recommend this hotel.

They draw so much attention to themselves when we're just trying to relax. Thankfully it's only been a few of the times we've been there. These people usually strike me as those less fortunate in spirit and at the bank. It's clear they over extended their bank account and are trying to milk it for every cent. I wish I could tell them to just go home but that would be giving them the attention they desperately seek.. and I'm sure would cause the staff more issues. The entrance is locked, so I used the call button, and a staff member told me I could come in with a few questions. I walked the few steps straight to the front desk. It quickly became clear entry was for me alone perhaps I missed this part over the intercom, and my group was commanded to "get out" outside like we just trespassed and they obliged fast, legit they were scared. Now how a hotel wants to run its business is the hotel's call to make, and I don't dispute it. What I take issue with is the delivery and lack of respect. When I calmly mentioned this wasn't a great first impression with a light chuckle to make light of situation and tried to explain how it came off , the front desk employee, who identified himself as Michael, cut me off with "stop, stop" instead of a brief, courteous explanation. His reasoning was that this is a "guest exclusive" hotel, which is an odd thing to lead with toward someone who walked in specifically to ask about becoming a guest. I have no issue with a guests-only, adults-only policy. My issue is entirely with how a prospective, paying customer was treated at the door. For a property with this reputation and price point, I expected warmth and patience. What I got was curt and dismissive from the first moment. I'm 34 years old and I've never had a hotel interaction like this. This is only the second review about a hotel I've written in my life and the first negative one. I don't make a habit of complaining. I walked in genuinely hoping to book, wanting to become one of the five-star reviews I'd read. Instead I left having been talked over at the front desk. If you're weighing whether the glowing ratings tell the whole story, take that for what it's worth. To the Johnson family and Steinbock Resorts: five generations in Leavenworth, a hotel you designed and built with your own hands, a reputation people drive across the state for. That legacy deserves better representation at the door. One employee, in one minute, can undo years of what your family spent decades building. I hope this reaches you, and I hope you take it seriously.

Always smiled as we passed through. The amenities available during your stay, was great! There are many more things available/ additional areas to this place that I didn't access during my stay. The dinning area is very clean and large with many windows to view the back of the property as well as, the snow capped mountains. The rooms are quite big and bathrooms are huge. Both very clean! The beds and pillows were soooo comfortable. In the room, there are ACs and a door that leads to a small balcony with a patio table and chairs for the outer rooms. This area isn't a personal-ish space because there are no walls separating the other rooms and during our stay, we did not experience other patrons utilizing this access to enter nor exit therefore It wasn't an issue for us at all. I was able to checkout the family/game room and it is large with everything they say is available. There was nothing impersonal about this space even though It's a shared space. The 2 lounge areas make you feel like you are at home. We actually sat in the lounge area on the second floor to relax and figure out where we were going for dinner. I've seen families having lunch and others just doing their thing. The lounge areas were kept clean. Couches were comfortable too. We were in walking distance to the promenade and never felt unsafe. We stayed in the Superior King with Patio, which includes a private entry and gas fire pit. This particular accommodation is extremely convenient for potty breaks, rather than those rooms inside the Inn or on the 2nd floor, especially for those late night potty breaks. Plus, since the patio is fenced in, it allows your pup an area to roam off leash. It's also nice for those that might have loud pups, when left alone, while you're out eating or enjoying the pool, jacuzzi or sauna. The patio rooms are close to your parked vehicle, so that's another plus, if that option is necessary. The wonderful breakfast, which is included, was also a very welcomed hit each morning. This is not a Continental Breakfast, it's a full on breakfast, which rotated daily. I've never stayed at a place that was so dog friendly and will definitely stay at the Blue Elk Inn again on our next visit to Leavenworth!

We stayed a second time because they made my birthday so special and it was a lovely place to stay. This time: So far - very disappointed I called to see if we could check in early. This was at about 2:15 PM. The gal who answered clearly didn't want to be there and was very terse and unfriendly. She said she'd text if it was ready early. She never did. She clearly has no business being in hospitality. Soooo I checked in at 3:51 pm Room Ready. Very unfriendly. Gave me explanations to the key, a code to door and a dog towel. She never did text to tell me when it was ready. She never went over the details of the hotel, breakfast, other than that the hot tub was broken. I had to use chat GBT to find out when breakfast was. Icings on the cake? Last time we were here it was also my Birthday. They left a lovely bottle of bubbles. This time a happy birthday card some chocolate and a brand new wine opener with NO WINE. Last but not least, Roku tv loaded, opened live TV clicked on every channel and the screen turned black. I tried everything trying to get on turning it off making sure it was updated. It was not a user error. I can assure you. Said front desk lady was unhelpful. I tried what she suggested. No luck. She should've offered us a different room. The keurig was nice but no water. The self phone charging pads built in to the lamps seemed helpful to use but both sides did not work. Needless to say our stay has been grossly disappointing. Why did I pay $200 + when you have so many opportunities for lovely hotels elsewhere. Looking forward To speaking to management about our stay and how my complaints will be addressed.

We contacted Orbital Inn before our trip and simply asked to reschedule for another weekend, but were told no. We understand policies, but expected some basic compassion given the circumstances. What was most disappointing was the way we were treated by the General Manager. Rather than showing empathy or trying to find a reasonable solution, we were repeatedly blamed for not buying trip protection, asked to apologize for not doing so, and talked over when we tried to end the conversation. Unfortunately, based on the lack of flexibility and customer service, we will not return to Orbital Inn and would strongly encourage others to consider staying elsewhere in Leavenworth. UPDATE: the host's comment below is a total lie. Not once did Linda offer to reimburse or credit half of the stay. She was on speaker phone and multiple people heard our conversation so I have witnesses to prove it. The only thing she offered was $100 credit for a future stay, which she offered via email once my husband reached out.

Fitness center had good equipment. Steven Cardenas at the front desk was very warm, professional, and helpful. We also enjoyed walking to and from town (~20mins) when the weather was nice.

Location: it is located nearby downtown Leavenworth, a quick four minute drive! It is also in the same area as a Safeway which was super convenient! Room: we stayed in a room with a king sized bed on the third floor! The digital app worked super well, and we did not need to use our room keys for anything! It also was super convenient to use the app for other room controls and checking out. In addition, the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but the TV had both cable and all the streaming apps embedded so I just needed to simply log into my Apple TV account! The only downside to the room is at the door to the bathroom was the same door to the closet, and it was a little bit broken, so it didn't slide easily. While the bed was big, it was pretty hard, and the pillows were not very comfortable. Otherwise, the blackout curtains were great, and the AC worked well! The rooms also come with a mini fridge, iron, and ice machine down the hall. No microwave from what I can recall. Bathroom was super clean! Amenities: my husband and I work out every morning, so having a gym was a criteria during this trip (yes we still enjoyed the trails outdoors!!). The treadmills were great and the free weights as well! We also used the on-site laundry, which was convenient and that we just needed to pay with her credit card. The hotel usually has detergent and dryer sheets for sale, but they ran out, but it was not a problem because we went a few steps down the road to Safeway to pick some up! We also were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub! Food: there is free, hot coffee (light roast, dark roast, decaf) & hot water for tea 24/7 located in the lobby! In addition, a delicious continental, buffet style breakfast is included in your stay and it is available from 6 AM to 10 AM. Also, if you missed the breakfast hour or need to rush out, they also have free bags prepared for travelers on the go filled with a bagel, a bottled water, PB&J, a fruit, and a granola bar! Parking: free and plentiful! Side entrances to the hotel from the parking lot were also accessible from the app btw!! Staff: everyone was super friendly! The rooms are usually cleaned every other day but the cleaning staff were able to clean upon request on the second day! I am always an anxious traveler and want to feel safe/clean whenever I stay - and this was the perfect place!! I would recommend & if we ever came back to Leavenworth again, we would totally stay here again!

It had a small microwave and a good sized small fridge. There was also a nice oscillating fan which ended up being very important. The room has AC but the air conditioning unit can't really keep up. You can't set the thermostat lower than 70 and the thermometer in the room showed 74-76 most of the time on a day in the mid 80s. Combined with the fan, it was enough to sleep comfortably. I'm unsure what would happen if the temperature rises to the 90s or 100s though. You have to climb stairs to the second floor. The stairs are inside. I'll post a picture of them. There's no elevator and no first floor guest rooms so it's something to know about if this matters to you. The parking lot is right across the pedestrian only street. I might stay there again. My only issue is that I like the room colder than it was, but I think the good fan was a smart touch and I'm glad I didn't have to go ask for one. Other people might be happy with that temperature so I added it to my review. Oh ya, dog friendly!

They were very friendly and helpful during our email communication and the website was very intuitive. After an sudden winter snowstorm of 6", our vehicle was stuck leaving us lost, cold and unsure how to get to Scandanavian Escapes. After hearing that we had not eaten supper, Mr. Vern was nice enough to provide us with both a taxi number and a lift into town. The online pictures don't do the "Birchwood Tree House" justice, but it was our favorite room in the house. Although a smaller room, the decor was beautiful and cozy and we loved the bird theme. The private deck was a nice touch and the morning coffee + breakfast in bed truly made the tree house unforgettable- we can't recommend this room enough. Their hospitality was outstanding- we had such an incredible time at the Scandanavian Escapes that we're already planning our next stay at the Birchwood Tree House. Many thanks to Linny and Vern (and Ruby) for a very memorable weekend.
