The Sausage Cheddar Sandwich with egg and peppers on rosemary bread was delicious and oh so rich and filling--half for breakfast, half for lunch. Even with reduced hours Sage Hills is even more busy--not their first rodeo--they began 18 years ago on Spring Street, then moved to this luxurious site six years ago. Beyond sandwiches, I found quiche, biscuits, and gravy, fruit and yogurt, and steel cut oatmeal. This pretty much rounds out anything you'd want for breakfast or lunch. Everything was delicious! The beirock had eggs, cheese and bacon in it in a fully closed bun. That bun had such a good flavor that I would only order that next time. The quiche was creamy and smooth but the crust wasn't good. Our daughter who lives here and loves this place, especially their quiche (she says it's better than mine, lol) says the crust usually isn't as bad as it was today. For me, it tasted like it was microwaved (and maybe it was) and that taste and texture is not good. The filling was so tasty though. The morning bun was delicious. I don't normally love sweets for breakfast but it was yummy. The croque was fan-frickin-tastic and while Randy says he's had one that's better, it's not much better and he absolutely loved it.
