    avocado toast with egg
    Rachel C.

Came back as promised. Still so good. I actually went back the next day as well... Went to argonaut both Saturday morning and Sunday.

Hipster toast (aka avocado toast), split in two, with an egg on each. Spectacular.

Plenty of good choices in Leavenworth, but for great espresso drinks and casual breakfast, Argonaut is the real deal. The service was personal, with the owner remembering what we ordered in our previous visit. Of course you can't beat the ambience the outdoor view of the mountain creates, but the small interior is inviting, with a great playlist of music. Avocado toast, biscuits and carne asada breakfast burrito were on point. Their chili oil and sauces tie everything together. This is an easy go-to if you're in Leavenworth. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely love this little coffee shop. Visited during the winter so a hot latte hit the spot perfectly. Hot and delicious couldn't been more perfect. The staff was extra friendly and attentive. Coffee came out quick and cute. I had a cookie which was delicious. My friends had the breakfast sandwich, avocado toast & the biscuit which they said was yummy. If I ever return to Leavenworth I'll definitely be back.

Definitely one of the best options for breakfast and coffee in Leavenworth! Get the biscuit upgrade - it's worth it. They do also sell out of the biscuits and the burritos so go earlier if you can! Friendly baristas too and cozy outdoor patio with great views of the mountains.

I got myself a buttermilk jalapeño breakfast sandwich. The biscuit alone was 5/5 stars. The sandwich as a whole was 3.5 stars. However, the sriracha-maple sauce was 4.5 stars. Service was meh. Place was cute.

Went to Argonaut every day for 3 days in a row and can't recommend it more! Tried the spring fling latte and lemon peel latte both hot and iced. Lemon was too sweet for me but the hot spring fling was a unique perfection that I wish I could get at home. Hipster toast was delicious as was the savory biscuit (jalapeño cheddar) and this is coming from someone that doesn't particularly like biscuits. My friends enjoyed the galettes and breakfast sandwiches as well. Service is quick, alt milk options are plentiful, and the vibe is exactly what I'm looking for in a cafe.

We grabbed a couple of hot lattes to-go on our walk downtown Leavenworth. My husband ordered the lavender matcha, and I had a cortado. The barista was so nice to inform me the cortado is in a smaller cup, but she kindly made it in a larger cup so I could take it to-go with a lid. There is barstool seating inside, and plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. There is free parking for the cafe, but it's worth paying to park right next door and then walking into downtown once you've finished your coffee. It's a cute local coffee shop, a must visit!

These biscuits are HELLA DELICIOUS!!! If you're stopping at or passing by Leavenworth, make sure to hit this place!! I definitely recommend it. We had a breakfast biscuit and a plain biscuit with jam and butter, both were deliciously tasty! I'm not even suggesting you eat here, I'm DEMANDING you to! Lol Very quick service and a good amount of seating outside. They even have the heaters going during the winter months.

Super small and cute cafe! There is a parking lot out front. Limited seating outside. The cashier/barista was super nice and helpful. Ordered the cinnamon horchata latte. It was alright. The coffee flavor was not as strong. The taste of the cayenne is stronger than the cinammon. Would probably not come back. The latte art was pretty though!

The coffee shop is so cute and cozy! The baristas are very welcoming and kind. This was my last stop on my way out of Leavenworth. We ordered a white mocha, horchata latte and yogurt parfait. The horchata latte was good but a spice in there was a bit overpowering making my coffee taste a bit bitter. The yogurt parfait is freshly made and was so good!

Amazing! I have worked in small family owned coffee shops and big corporate owned shops. This place is top notch! From the hot apple cider and hot cocoas to the vanilla latte! We also added a biscuit with jam and one of the savory biscuits. Wow is all I can say. Everything was delish and the staff super friendly. Highly recommend!

This place has really good coffee. We came here when we arrived at town to get an Americano and we also got one on the way out of town to go. They take a lot of care with making their coffee drinks - they weighed the coffee and water for our Americano. The biscuit sandwich was very good. The blueberry muffin was average in our opinion. But we would definitely stop here again for coffee and biscuits. The customer service is really top notch.

I ordered the Healthy Hash and a chai with oat milk (so good), and they also had gluten-free bread and soy butter, which honestly made my morning. I'm also grabbing a Bloody Mary, and everything has been excellent. The vibe here is what really sets it apart: super chill, cozy, and welcoming, with genuinely friendly staff. I also loved that they have games and beautiful photography/art books out and available to use -- it's such a fun way to actually connect with your group instead of everyone defaulting to their phones while waiting for food. I noticed the sign saying they're celebrating 25 years, and I truly hope they're around for many more. Leavenworth is such a cute German-style town, but as someone who can be pretty picky (and with dietary restrictions), it can be hard to find a place I really love -- and this one delivered on every level. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

During peak times you may find yourself waiting in line for 20-30 minutes. The good news is the line moves quickly, and there's plenty to look at while you wait. Near the entrance, there are charming displays of gingerbread houses and detailed dioramas that serve as a fun distraction while you wait your turn. Once inside, the display cases are filled with an amazing variety of treats--cupcakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, Linzer and gingerbread cookies, and many other delicious options. Everything looks so good it's hard to choose! We ended up ordering three cookies per person and happily stretched them out over the next few days. Before heading back to Seattle, we made one last stop to grab a to-go box for the road and for home. Totally worth it. Yummo! Also, there is a small Gift Shop all things Gingerbread.

The wait here has always been long due to the size of the place, but today it was due to poor training and staffing. We walked in and these two girls are shouting at guests they are the only people working today and there is going to be a wait. Of course I sympathize. A few small tables are sat quickly but everyone else is told to wait. A party of 6 told them they were on a schedule and the waitresses told them it was fine. Being a small group we got sat, but there was a lobby FULL of people who stood there while we ate our whole breakfast. There were about 5 open tables but the waitresses didn't try to bus them and were running around like crazy and returning to the kitchen time and again empty handed. Eventually they shouted to the waiting area of people they were going to bus the whole restaurant (seriously) and seat everyone at once. Obviously no training here at all because the kitchen must have had no orders for 30-45mins and all of a sudden are going to get hit with a whole restaurant of orders at once so now the wait worsens - what a mess. The table of 6 that arrived at the same time as us was sat as we were finishing, but we never served. They left un-fed after an hour and a half. The food was fine but there was no excuse for the wait (forgot to mention this is a Monday at like 10:30 so not a breakfast or lunch rush happening, also not a weekend). This place has always been a dive and totally falling apart in regards to decor but it was forgivable because the food was good. I feel bad for writing this because those poor girls were working hard but they are completely untrained and the place was understaffed.
