We came here for breakfast before a hike. There is very limited indoor seating but it was nice out and there is some patio seating. The food came out quickly and the workers were nice. The breakfast sandwiches on biscuits were absolutely delicious! Savory and a tiny bit spicy with the sweet biscuit was just a perfect blend of flavored. I like that they sell local art inside! It made for cute decorations, something to look at while you waited for your food and helps support local artists all in one. read more

Quite the popular coffee shop in Leavenworth. Went around 11 am and there was a line out the door! Definitely go early for the biscuits because they do sell out. I got the savory biscuit and it was delicious. Super flaky, buttery and flavorful. It also tastes freshly made. I got the lavender and honey coffee and that was delicious as well. Not too sweet, good balance with the honey. Super quaint but small indoor seating area and a large outdoor patio makes a good hangout spot. Theres also plenty of merchandise inside the coffee shop too, and all seem to be of great quality which is a plus. My favorite thing about this place is the business model. Gratuity is not expected. It's listed that the workers there get a living wage and a percentage of the daily sales. More a reason to support this local establishment. read more

I'm sorry to report this place didn't hit for me. Waited in a long line and so I had high expectations coming in (as well as the high Yelp rating) Ordered the matcha latte & savory biscuit (see photo) My drink had zero matcha flavor it tasted like an iced milk. I ended up throwing it away since I'm not 8 years old and don't enjoy drinking whole milk in the morning. If you look at my picture that very light green drink is my matcha latte. The biscuit was surprisingly dry, I split it with my friend and we both thought it was mediocre. Maybe the Argonaut was having an off day, but it wasn't my fav way to start our day off in Leavenworth :( read more

Super busy coffee spot. A little chaotic. Stood in line for 20 minutes just to get a drip coffee. The baristas have long conversations with every single customer. The coffee was decent. Better than Starbucks but would rather have the shakes than stand in line again. They seemed to have bougie food that was not worth the prices. Went to Argonaut every day for 3 days in a row and can't recommend it more! Tried the spring fling latte and lemon peel latte both hot and iced. Lemon was too sweet for me but the hot spring fling was a unique perfection that I wish I could get at home. Hipster toast was delicious as was the savory biscuit (jalapeño cheddar) and this is coming from someone that doesn't particularly like biscuits. My friends enjoyed the galettes and breakfast sandwiches as well. Service is quick, alt milk options are plentiful, and the vibe is exactly what I'm looking for in a cafe. read more

We grabbed a couple of hot lattes to-go on our walk downtown Leavenworth. My husband ordered the lavender matcha, and I had a cortado. The barista was so nice to inform me the cortado is in a smaller cup, but she kindly made it in a larger cup so I could take it to-go with a lid. There is barstool seating inside, and plenty of outdoor seating on the patio. There is free parking for the cafe, but it's worth paying to park right next door and then walking into downtown once you've finished your coffee. Must go homey and hole in the wall feel ! The LEMON BAR LATTE was unique and fresh with a whole peel on the inside. Not too sweet but great lemony flavor with subtle white chocolate. The BISCUIT itself is delicious get the butter and jam on the side to taste the biscuit itself. Usually a line out the door in the mornings so be ready to wait. Ample amount of parking and good seating outside. One of the baristas is actually the artist behind some really cool art they are selling in the form of rings and paintings. I didn't love the Mexican mocha. I feel it didn't have much flavor or spice it kinda missed the mark which was disappointing after the lemons bar was so good. But the HONEY MATCHA was great and not too sweet! They have small, medium, and large sizes which is great. They even have soy milk which is my favorite. Overall a must try for the area and seems to be a local favorite. Just make sure to order the right things. read more

This place has really good coffee. We came here when we arrived at town to get an Americano and we also got one on the way out of town to go. They take a lot of care with making their coffee drinks - they weighed the coffee and water for our Americano. The biscuit sandwich was very good. The blueberry muffin was average in our opinion. Spent an afternoon hanging out at Argonaut, and it was great! We could definitely see why this is the spot to grab coffee and food in Leavenworth! The staff was very welcoming and you could tell that there's a great atmosphere here. We had a few of the lattes, all iced and with oat milk (the Medici mocha, For the bees, and a vanilla latte), and a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. The flavors paired really well in the lattes and the sandwich was delicious! We will for sure be coming back next time we are in town! read more

Came here upon reading reviews for coffee spots and landed here. Came around 9am and it was crowded so we knew it had to be good. There is a big dirt lot for parking right next door, so no need to worry about finding parking. Ended up getting breakfast burritos and a latte, and neither disappointed. The burrito was a bit dry, but adding some of the hot sauce remedied that situation. The latte was good, a great balance between sweet and bitterness from the coffee. The seating is mainly outdoors, which made it dog-friendly. Tables wrap around the building, but it does fill up quick, and if it's a beautiful day out, we found ourselves enjoying the views of the mountains and basking the the sun, which didn't help the crowded seating situation. read more

Argonaut is a gem in Leavenworth. Our friend group are staying here for 3 days and all 3 days we plan on coming here for morning coffee. When I travel I usually like to try different coffee shops for the ambiance, culture, flavors, and see what makes the coffee different from other spots. But after the first day we had our iced latte which was the Lemon Bar was amazing. For the biscuit it's absolutely amazing, just one tip I would say if you're not a huge jam lover to get it on the side and then just spread it at your own desire. Second day I got the spring fling latte which was more coconuty and rich, huge fan! Overall this coffee shop has amazing vibes, great service vibes overall, highly recommend! read more

A great stop for a burst of good morning coffee! Visited right before noon on a Sunday. Right when we arrived, there was already a long line forming and all the seats outside were taken. It is a small shop so only a few are allowed in at a time as it tends to crowd up the store. Plus there are only 5 seats available by the window. I ordered a Namaste Latte, which had tumeric and honey. A subtly sweet latte with a lot of tumeric, which i absolutely needed since it was going to be a long day of walking. Staff was quick with my order. Took 5 minutes to get it. They were good about keeping the line organized and the amount of people inside at a certain capacity. Overall, we will come back and visit when we are in the area. Would love to get another Namaste or try a different latte out. read more

We came here for coffee since this place is near the hotel we were staying at. Everyone thought their drink was fine, nothing too special. There is some cool mystical art in the shop. There's not too much seating in the shop itself -- a few stools near the windows. And outside there's about 5-6 tables. There's not much seating compared to how long the lines were and people definitely swooped into get our seats as soon as we got up. This is a super cute and convenient walk up coffee spot in the small town of Leavenworth. It's near the downtown area and the quality of coffee is far above what you'll find elsewhere. I highly recommend the Mexican Mocha which is made with Dark Chocolate, cinnamon, ginger & cayenne! The cayenne gives it a subtle spicy kick but it's quickly tempered with the milk & DOUBLE espresso shots. Every time I go to a new coffee shop, I also order an americano with 12 oz of water. To me, this is the best way to compare apples to apples because most coffee shops can accommodate this very basic order. The espresso was smooth, free of any bitterness, and balanced. I drink my coffee black and it was delicious all on its own but I'm sure it'll complement whatever else you may wish to add to it! read more
