Fast and knowledgeable. Called in for an appointment and gave them my insurance information. Showed up to my appointment gave them my insurance card and I'd. Front end lady took me in quick. And moved me in to the 1st check woth another lady where she took pic of my eyes.and went out front sat back down. I took a look at their frames they had lots to pick from and affordable. Some were only 40 dollars. Got called in to my eye examination. The Dr took me and was very friendly and professional. Ask me alot of questions and had me out fast. Just waiting on my reading glasses to be done and ill come pick them up and mind you I had my gf come in with me for her eyes check as well. Had us out quick. Honestly I have been coming here for years. However I decided to try a new place bc I noticed that they slightly make one eye blurry than the other eye, it also happened to my mom, our vision got worse and I think they do this so u can keep coming back, it's also very expensive to add anything like blue light, or progressive etc! I went to a different doctor and they said they focused it to much for reading which caused me to need classes for even viewing far away! Luckily the new do it or balanced it out for me, the new dr said in to young to have glasses like this! Don't come here if u don't want worse vision. read more

DO NOT COME HERE TO GET YOUR LENS DONE. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU DIDN'T DO. used to come here to get my eyes checked back in 2013 or so. Came back to get my eyes checked and bring in 2 extra frames to get them done. upon first time picking up. i tried them on and notice that my vision was whack and i asked the staff they say my eyes needed time to adjust which i believed. Though my vision only went up .25 i shouldnt see a big different on how i describe to the staff. Yet, i believed and went home. The next day i decided to inspect both glasses and the lens on both eyes were uneven which causes my blur vision that my eyes cant adjust. upon further inspection on the other pair which was unevenly cut that the lens can easily be snap off the frame when try to clean. I called and have them inspect and they redo the lens for free. After coming back to pick up i put them on to see if my vision still blur and it stop. i didn't bother to check if there was scratch or not. Two weeks after i picked up the 2 pair that i paid out of my pocket. i decided to switch to the other pair and notice there was a scratch. i called and they have me come in again. they inspect it and charge me $40. This is where i was blown away of how they treat their customer. None of this was my fault. the 1st time lens was cut uneven and lopsided which cause my vision to blur and i can't tell if its a flat surface or not. now 2nd time it was scratch that i didn't notice. so they tell me that i have to pay to get it fix. mind you, this was not even my fault so i was pretty ticked that i have to pay. then i tell them to ship it to me because i am tired of coming back and forth to get something fix when it is not my doing. they refuse to ship it to be for free. I then asked to speak to the manager and none of them were there and the only way to speak to them is come back another time. just wow.... so DO NOT BRING IN EXTRA FRAMES AND EXPECT THEM TO BE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY BECAUSE IT IS NOT. i will never come back here. i would give this negative review if i can. read more

I desperately needed a new/replacement pair of glasses QUICK and Spectrum delivered... in less than 1 hour!! I had ordered a pair from another store and after a few days of not hearing back with an ETA I decided to go to Spectrum and I'm so glad I did. Spectrum had a good selection of frames (I ended up getting Ray Bans) and their service was perfect. I'm so happy to be able to see again and will be coming back in a few months when my insurance kicks in so I can finally get contacts and maybe a second set of glasses. read more

The staff is nice and friendly but the Dr. Kaitlyn My Vo ...was not anything like her staff ....she seemed to be in a hurry would not let me finish my sentences...she said to me that I really don't need glasses because it wouldn't make a difference.....and that all I need are readers...I guess I went to the wrong Dr because she is not an ophthalmologist and education does make a difference. read more

I highly recommend this place. Kaitlyn the optometrist took time to measure my eyes and patiently let me tested the lenses to make sure I feel the most comfortable. Thi at the front desk patiently helped me select the best frame for my face. Thanks to her, my coworkers said I looked better with glasses. Thank you very much! This has been my third time here and having quite an experience at this optometry. I really like how this optometry accepts medi-cal as well. The frames that I purchased were really cute and snapchat filter glasses ish! (And what i was aiming for). They are very knowlegeble as well. I really enjoyed the optometrist who checked my eyes and everything. When asking the first optometrist person (I forgot her name but did my eyes in the room) a question she answer was very informative, knowledgeable and is patient with you as well. I really like how they don't forget about their customers and patients as well and sends us a gift coupon and a happy birthday greeting as well. Also, there was another older female optometrist (#2 optometrist which i dont know her name but had short hair) who helped made sense into buying the stuff you need. Now let me tell you about patience. So my mom being my mom, asked so many questions about contacts because she just did not get, did not understand, it didn't hit her, it just didn't go through, or I don't know what it is. When you have customers/clients that does NOT COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THE WHOLE EYE CONTACT SYSTEM please PLEASE BE PATIENT AND SUCK IN ALL OF YOUR IMPATIENT-NESS. So there was this younger female who was cool at first and seemed "patient" but damn after seeing her with my mom, she was not being patient and was wanting the wrath come out of her eyes. You can tell that she was starting to give attitude and having no patience. I get that she feels that way but damn don't be like that to your customers please and just understand them. I was watching her and my mom from the mirror and damn, she was NOT patient at all because if she was she would have been kind and not giving attitude ALL THE WAY. The worse part was that, she and #2 lady that I mentioned above were speaking in Vietnamese and most likely were talking shit about my mom and how frustrated or whatever it was that the young adult female was mentioning. First of all, that ain't professional when speaking in another language when another customer isn't vietnamese and can't understand which you can obviously speak shit about and second, where the hell is the etiquette in that? I've been coming here once a year, every year since I was 15 so like almost 20 years. . . damn. I've been going here for 20 years! whoa anyhow, I like this place because they have great service and a huge selection of frames. all the fancy brands and really good knock offs. I know because I always get the on-trend knock offs haha. they've always accepted my insurance (VSP and even my parents insurance back in the day!) and some how some way, the older Vietnamese lady always works her magic and I leave there with contracts and glasses for like 140$! you can't even get these kind of prices at Costco! they always have appts available but also take walk-ins. sometimes there's a wait but the wait time is never ridiculous. this will be my forever optometry spot, I love them! read more

We've had good experiences here with 2 or 3 pairs of glasses. However, not today. My husband had a new pair which broke. When he went in, he was told they offer no warranty. There would be no repair for the glasses where they connect at the temple. Very disappointed and won't be back. Just know if anything happens to your glasses, they offer no warranty or repair of any kind for their product. read more

I came here to put a nose pad on my sunglasses and got a free cleaner. Awesome! I was in and out in less than 30 min. This is an update as of 09/13/18. I came here to add a nose pad so my eyeglasses will not slip down on my nose bridge. Unfortunately, the price is not $15 anymore. It is now $20. Bummer! read more

Good enough selection of glasses and brands for you to choose from. I had to come in several times throughout the years to fix my eyeglasses and have never been charged extra. My family and I have been going here for over 2 decades. The prices are beyond reasonable for both eye glass exam and contact exams, I think around 50-75, and I don't even need an appointment. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to be seen and I always get hooked up with free contact lenses for being a repeat customer. I live in LA now but still drive down here for exams. My sister lives in San Diego and still drives up for exams. This place is just wonderful. read more

This place does not believe in good customer service. They make their patient pick up a copy of the receipt in person instead of sending it via email claiming that it's a privacy issue while all other medical facilities had no problem send receipts to you via email after a telephone verification. To this place, it's all about what's in it for them, not for the customers. They just lost my business. read more

No more Lenscrafters! I can get an eye exam and a brand new pair of glasses for only $175! Breaks down to: Eye Exam: $35 Nerdy (but sexy..) black plastic frames: $50 Lens (w/ no anti-glare): $90 I've been wearing eyeglasses since kindergarten and I'm tired of buying $300 pairs of eyeglasses at LC! I go through glasses like toilet paper, and here they have a variety of designer brands, and low budget alternatives. The service here is fast and sweet! They helped me find new frames that would fit my old pair of lens, presented me with a designer high priced frame and a cheaper frame that looks exactly like it. Great selection with tons of frames/shades to choose from. They also cleaned up my lens really well and threw in a free cleaning cloth. Plus they have their own lab and can have your glasses ready in 1hour. Take that Lenscrafters!!! read more

I have been patient here since I was a little kid. Love how they have a lot of walk in available so I can just stop by when Im free. Doctor answered all my questions and take time to check my eyes. All front desk assistants were very friendly and helpful. My whole family goes here for checkup. The price here is very affordable compares to other market prices. This would most likely be my most favorite optometry business, mainly because everybody is very attentive. It was a bit easier to communicate with the employees here because they spoke Vietnamese, and they weren't pushy, which led me to enjoy my whole eye exam. They had a lot of patience when using the machines on my eyes, and were kind enough to hand me tissues when my eyes became irritated. Medi-cal covered the whole thing. I love this place. read more

They take absolutely forever for service. Taking my mom here since she said she saw them on the Vietnamese channel on TV, if I had a choice, ANYWHERE ELSE. Haha. Service is beyond slow, one could say the provide really great 1v1 service as they tend to shove you away figuratively, if your not next to be tended to. Yes, I do know this is a Vietnamese business and accommodating service is not usually the norm, but this place is worst than-usual-type-of-thing. Parking is shared and quite difficult to find on the weekend as the plaza is full of other businesses and eateries. Around the late morning (10-11am). They have AC though and my mom liked her frames sooo, but who knows, maybe it was just that day? Though it wasn't even packed, so yeah... Took them 10 mins to finally help my mom PICK UP her frames. There were only two other people office, just waiting to be seen by the Optometrist. Yup. Three Stars, cheap frames though. Thats the redeeming factor. I recently got an eye exam for contact lenses less than a week ago and was told that I'd be given a trial pair of contact lenses. I did not get them the day of the exam so I decided to call in today to pick them up. The receptionists kept telling me that the doctor gave me a trial pair the day of my exam and I continuously told them over and over that I did not receive anything. They ended up agreeing and told me to come in to pick them up. . . When I came in the older lady working raised her voice and said I had to buy the contacts and basically called me a liar, like I was trying to get over on them. She gave me the trial pair, but was extremely rude about it. The exams here are more affordable than other places but the customer service is terrible. read more

I used to live by here in the late 90s. That's when I started coming to spectrum vision. I live about 15 miles away now and I still come here. The older lady used to always remember me somehow, no matter how long it was in between visits. I think she's gone now, but she always made me feel special and welcomed. I was here last year, and I was looking them up again today to setup an eye exam. Looks like appointments only bc of the coronavirus. Last year was the only eff up I've ever experienced. They lost my Rx for about a week. But found it, they also offered a free eye exam in case they didn't. Wasn't a big deal since I had my glasses (Needed the Rx for contacts that I rarely wear anyway). They were very reasonably priced when I didn't have insurance too. I have VSP now and last year I ended up not using VSP discounts bc it was just easier and faster to pay out of pocket. The optometrist I saw was very nice, I forgot her name, but she was very cute and did a great job! I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again very soon! read more
