My brother loved this place and he told me that he didn't meet the female doctor who gave me my prescription lenses, but it was with a male doctor. The eye exam went great. I felt the optometrist did a thorough job. I was going to another optometrist for years and i thought they were good. This year due to location i switched up. Extremely lovely staff here! I've been to plenty of local optometrists in this Orange County area (Little Saigon) and I must say, the quality of customer care here is absolutely refreshing considering the times we're in where mediocre service is considered "quality". From the moment I arrive with my sister as well as my 16 month old son, the older Vietnamese ladies that opened up the business were extremely accommodating and flexible. They literally made me feel like they were aunties of mine. The doctor at this optometry knows her stuff as far as making sure to dot her i's and cross her t's when it came to the exam. Another great bonus to this business is the amount of luxury frames they carry. You cannot walk in here without either walking out with your eyes checked and/or a new pair of gorgeous eyeglasses or sunglasses. read more

Had to come numerous times for stupid reasons 1) Tried to charge me $100 for contact lens exam + glasses exam when I called on the phone saying I have medical and that my insurance covers it and was quoted $60 for contact lens exam. 2) They will help you mid way and go then go help a different customer and answer the phone when it rings. Which really rude 3) Prepare to wait even if you have an appointment, I waited almost over an 1hr, right when I wanted to tell them they call my name. 4) When my trial contact lens came in, they just sent me home not having me know which lens is which. They are nice, however they are understaffed and need more than 1 Doctor around + training. read more

It has been overdue since last summer. The professionals who assist customers in choosing frames and glasses are truly exceptional. Their service is excellent. I have nothing to complain about. However, a doctor who examines patients' eyes is terrible. She examined my husband's eye and gave him a prescription that didn't work. Dr. Thiên Anh Cao is amazing! I went in on Saturday to do my yearly eye exam and to update my prescription. I went in and the staff were super attentive and I got an appointment right away. When I went to talk to Dr. Cao about possibly lowering my prescription she informed me that it possibly was my convergency insufficiency that was causing me trouble not my glasses prescription being too high. She was super informative and offered to refereed me to a specialist to get a diplopia eye assessment and was transparent that insurance was not gonna cover it and listed me the pros and cons. She also was very gentle when she put test contacts in for me. Since I was looking to transition from glasses to contacts since I'm on my schools swim team. After my consultation with Dr. Cao the staff helped train me to put contacts in and they were super patient and understanding as a first time contact user I was struggling hard lol. After my visit they gave me 1 week trial contacts to tryout to make sure there's no issues with me wearing contacts and a bag with products to help me with the contacts. Overall a 10/10 experience here no issues and I'd recommend anyone to come here! read more

I came here on Tuesday evening and was able to get in and out within 20 minutes. Front staff was friendly and helpful. They helped me check my insurrance coverage over the phone. I was here for an eye exam only, so cant leave comments about other things but Dr. Cao was the best! She was very professional and thorough. She took her time to explain and answer my questions. During Covid-19: I'm so thankful that they are open during this time. It was my first time here, and I was able to do a walk-in around 5:00 P.M with no problems. The two workers in the front and the doctor was very kind and quick. I was able to wash my hands, fill out the paperwork and be examined by the doctor right away. They were very clean and taking care to sanitize everything before usage and even washing their hands when interacting with me. They also took my temperature which was great to see, for their safety and mine. Eye exams are only $40 if you don't have insurance. I would definitely come back here :) read more

I've been to iexam for about 5 years now and each visit was always pleasant! Everyone is amazing from customer service to just basically everything in general. The employees were always patient with me when it came down to choosing the right frame. They would also help give me suggestions on what fits my face and what doesn't. The doctor is very friendly and she's always recommending comfortable contact lenses for me to wear. I like how I get a pair to test out during my exam before the doctor finalizes the prescription. I forgot to mention that they have a lot of designer glasses to choose from and they also sell sunglasses too! The store itself is very clean and presentable. My mom visited this facility last week and was so happy the way she was treated. She was so happy that the staff was very courteous. She was felt welcome by the wonderful front desk staff. Exercising proper safety guidelines was a plus. Doctor was very kind and understanding. Lady that offer my mom the frames was rude and seems that her priorities was not on the customer. My mom left sad wondering if she was being treated like this due to medical paying for the frames. Or maybe the lady offering the frames medical covered was having a bad day. Anyhow other than making my mother feel upset and not important, my step dad also left mad. I was saddened when my mom told me about her experience with the lady offering her the frames. iExam Optometry easily exceeded expectations. To start, I did not have an appointment, but they were VERY accommodating and allowed for me to walk in. Upon entering the store, the workers were friendly and relatable. During the eye exam, I got to meet with one of the two optometrists and had never felt so comfortable during an eye exam! The doctor was funny, explained everything that she was doing, answered any questions I had, and was VERY thorough. There was a point during the exam when numbers weren't adding up, and the doctor took the time to find out what went wrong. She re-tested my eyes and found an error that was made during the eye exam (I believe on my part). She is the type of doctor to not let you go until everything is perfect, which I truly appreciate. In the end when I was paying for my exam and new replacement lenses, the workers made sure I was completely satisfied. UPDATE: I got a text the SAME day about 1.5-2 hours later saying my glasses were DONE! I had come in for an eye exam and a lens replacement for my old frames earlier this day and this place was able to finish everything within the SAME DAY, which is outstanding and unbelievable. Never have I had such quick service for getting lens replaced before. I was told to try on the glasses and everything looked phenomenal. The glass was without a doubt high quality, as promised. Although this was only the first time I had visited, I can tell that iExam cares about their customers and does everything to the best of their ability and to the highest quality that they can provide. I will for sure switch to iExam as my primary optometrist. The optometrists and receptionists deserve all the credit in the world. My eyeglasses broke so I needed a new pair quickly but my prescription was expired. Found this place on Yelp and went in the same day. They were able to give me an eye exam that same day and the price was very good, much better than Lens Crafters. They have a big selection of eye glasses all at reasonable prices, the store was very clean and not crowded, and the reps were all very friendly. Great selection and even better service! There are several aspects of the experience at this place that I think sets it apart from others. Firstly, if you are looking for nicer sunglasses and want the name brand products, they have just about everything. I came to iExam after failing to find a pair of RayBans at another optometrist nearer to where I live. I was able to find the pair I was looking for immediately. Secondly, the service is unbeatable. As soon as I stepped in I felt welcome and taken care of. I was directed everywhere I needed to go inside to get my eye exam, which was much better than the previous eye exam I got a month prior. Much more friendly with good communication. I am cautious when it comes to my health and felt completely comfortable with every portion of the examination. I even learned a few things along the way. Lastly, the interior of the place feels much more clean and upscale than most other offices I have been to. If you are just coming in to try retail glasses with or without prescription, then iExam provides a top quality experience as well. I never write reviews, but I want everyone to be able to get the proper eye care and this is not the place. Yes, they have a big selection on designer frames, but they seem to be very inexperienced and not knowledgable. I have Keratoconus, a condition where my cornea thins and is shaped differently. I was told about this condition from my previous optometrist (who I will be going back to). I wanted to try a new place because of their frame selection since my original optometrist didn't have a big selection. Anyway, this optometrist told me I had very strong astigmatism, which is what I've been mistakenly diagnosed by other optometrists many times before. So, I mentioned to her that my previous optometrist told me I have Keratoconus. She then proceeded to say that she suddenly does noticed it. Wow, it must have magically appeared after I mentioned it I guess. She said that is not a specialist in this condition and that I should come back on a day when they have a specialist available. I agreed and she said they will call me next week when the specialist is in. 2 weeks have gone by and still no call. They obviously don't care about new customers or know what they're doing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if you have any serious conditions because they probably won't even know you have it to tell you. read more

One glasses had the prescribed lens on and ready to wear right before we left. All this within 3 hours. I must say, we were pretty picky. We liked Julie's suggestions with stylish frames. I usually come here with my fiance for her eyes but this time I came with her and got my own eyes checked also. My vision came out to be almost perfect with just my right eye having -0.75 because of astigmatism. Doctor and even associate told me I didnt need glasses but since I work and look at a computer screen for long periods of time then I could get it to use when I work which I ended up getting. The brand I got were ray ban with my insurance policy. The associate went over my coverage and everything very thorough so that I understand what I'll be paying. Overall it was a good experience and they honestly didnt seem to be trying to force me into buying glasses or anything either which is a good thing because if they were I would most likely not get anything at all. read more

I recently broke my pair of Ray Ban club master glasses that I had gotten prescribed here and I knew how pricey it was going to be but when i came in today the people here were totally understandable and wholeheartedly willing to help me. They even remembered me from a few years back when i first started coming here and that alone should prove how genuine these people are.
