I've been going here for many years but never again. There were multiple red flags I should've paid attention to. Red flag 1: I saw oil residue on the machines for the preliminary tests. The receptionist, who administered the tests, told me she didn't think it was necessary to wipe down the machines because a relative, who came to the appt with me, had taken the tests right before me and "since we're related it should be fine"... It should be standard protocol to disinfect all equipment after every patient! Red flag 2: The receptionist advised that I take advantage of all the add-ons to my glasses that my insurance is willing to cover. Ok will do. I asked her to clarify what those add-ons were and she replied, "everything." I asked, "what does 'everything' include?" She goes, "everything is everything." MAM what does that mean? How do I know you're not just gonna check off every add on so your office can juice out my insurance and provide me with a pair of basic glasses? Additionally, as a customer I am entitled to know what I'm paying for. Red flag 3: This one is for the optometrist. I saw a bunch of brochures in the office advertising lasik, so I asked her about it. She replied, "don't do it. It's not good. It's an outdated procedure." What the hell! If it's "outdated" then how come EVERYONE has gotten it? Most importantly why do you have brochures for it in your office?! I bet she only said that because she's afraid of losing a patient, instead of wanting what's best for her patient. Shame on you, Doctor! Final red flag: 1.5 months later one of the nose pads on my Ray-bans broke off. I read that this particular model has delicate nose pads. I took it in to see if they could repair it for me... because typically a business that sells glasses should be able to fix glasses, right? WRONG. The elderly man who works there looked at it and blamed me for playing with the nose pads and breaking it. EXCUSE ME? How are you blaming a customer for a faulty pair of glasses that YOUR office sold me? Then the receptionist I mentioned above said they can't fix the single nose pad, but they can sell me the same exact frame. I asked if there will be warranty on that, considering I've had mine for less than 2 months. She said no. If I want warranty I need buy a whole new pair of frames... the same frames that are known to be faulty. I went to LensCrafters and got the nose pads fixed in a few minutes at no cost. Yet this so-called business that sells glasses couldn't even replace one nose pad for me and insisted I buy completely new frames just for one damn broken nose pad. read more

I'm working with this optometry for past 4-5 years and I never had any problems with them, this year I broke my glasses and some of my friends said that I should try another optometry , so I went to America's best, I thought they will make my glasses faster and cheaper, and that was my worsts experience ever!! The company made my glasses for 2 weeks, and they did it wrong!!! I spend about 150$ for glasses that didn't even fit my eyes, so I vent back here, this optometry gave me very good price for 2 pairs of glasses, one of them is BRAND NAME, they make glasses for 3 days, and I feel so good about it, I love this optometry place, the doctor is very nice, all personal are very nice people!!! It was such an awful experience coming here for my eye exam thru a referral from my new family doctor. They wanted me to buy frames and glasses right after the exam but I didn't see any frames I wanted. The display was dirty and they had a poor frame selection. And those lady workers were horrible; the receptionist had electronics, food, snacks, and coffee while talking to me at the same time. I walked in, looked at some frames, and they were sticky with fingerprints and smudges on the lenses. I put it back right away. I asked the receptionist what I could get with my insurance. She looked up at me with a mouth full of food and mumbled something I could not understand. I asked her to repeat herself. She swallowed her food and said $195 for the frame and lens, and instructed me to pick a frame. I did not want any. She look angrily at my wife and me, slammed my file on the table and almost knocked her food down. She was rude and impolite. I suggest updating inventory with a wider selection of frames, and wiping them down after they are handled by customers or workers then returned to the display. I also recommend that food and snack be for lunch and break times, in a break room area not while interacting with customers. It is gross lady. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and the optometrist was very nice. They were also very fast. You're in and then you're out. I just really didn't like that fact that they didn't spend enough time to examine me. If customers are paying $200+, there better be some hefty examining. My suggestion is, during the examination, ASK them how your vision has changed. I failed to do that and as result, my new glasses feel like the same as my old glasses. So technically, I paid for new frames only. If you're paying with credit cards or through insurance, no discounts or fast delivery. Everything is retail price. On the good side, If you want to buy designer's frames, I suggest that you come here. It's pretty cheap. read more

I had been going here for 4 years and I should have left after the first visit. They are pushy and will cheat you. I wear both glasses and contact lenses but because my prescription hasn't changed in 10 years, I don't need to get glasses every year. First visit 2015: I wanted contact lenses and the lady at the front desk was sooooo pushy. Kept telling me to get glasses and how they're Gucci and chanel and all that crap. It's freaking plastic. Who gives a rat's ass what kind of "brand name" it is. Most likely fake too. These frames are ridiculous in the $300's. But if you pay cash, she will give you a "discount" for the frame. Wtf I can get a whole pair for $50 online. Second visit 2016: Because I knew my prescription hasn't changed. I just wanted to use my insurance to order contact lenses without getting another exam. She told me I can't and insurance won't kick in until the day after the prescription has expired. What a freaking liar. I just called my insurance and I can use the insurance on the day of instead of the day after. So let's say I got an exam on 12/20/18 and my prescription expires on 12/20/19. She told me I can't use my insurance to get contact lenses until 12/21/19. I just called the insurance and they confirmed that i don't have to wait until the day after. I can use it on the day off. Which means I can use last years prescription to get new contact lenses without getting another exam. I knew this because I had done it in the past when I worked for a different company, but she told me she called my insurance and that's what they said. I should have called and confirmed right away, but I believed her. Finally called today (3 years later) and confirmed she's a freaking liar. Year 3 (2017): same crap Year 4 (2018): so finally I had had enough and asked my friend to recommend a new optometrist. She gave me the info but when I called, they were all booked for December. So I had to go back to this damn place. They tried to up sell other exam shit to me and I ended up paying an extra $25 because their new machine can do some extra shit. Which I didn't even want. But all of this is not even bad. I wasn't gonna give them 1 star for this. But here is what finally did it for me: I get my eyes checked yearly for both contact lenses and glasses. But every year I only got contact lenses and no glasses. I decided to get glasses this year in December (when insurance kicks in). Unfortunately, I broke them right in the middle by stepping on it last week. I had ordered glasses online before for $20 a pair. So I decided to just get a pair for now and wait till December to get a nicer pair at the optometry office. My glasses arrived a week later. Excited and happy because my eyes were killing me for wearing contacts 16+ hours a day. Put my glasses on and they were soooo blurry. The prescription on my right eye is incorrect (weaker). At first I thought they made mistake or maybe I made a mistake entering the wrong number. Then I looked at the prescriptions. They have been recording the wrong prescription number for glasses for 4 damn years. The prescription for contact and glasses should be different since glasses are further away from your iris than contact lenses. So the prescription on my left eye is correct. But the right eye is wrong. They wrote down the same number for both contact and glasses for the right eye when the number for glasses should have been higher. What amazes me is that I get them checked yearly and yet nobody caught it? What the f***. Did they even exam my eyes? Did they all fall asleep for 4 damn years. You know what? They're too damn busy selling you their other services than to do what they're being paid to do. read more

the screw on my eyeglasses was loose and I have been trying to put it back for 4 hours. Desperately need its to be fixed as I have +7, I literally blind without corrective eyeglasses.
