The PicoSure helps to remove facial sun spots. I did 2 sessions (so far), and my wife has noticed that my skin looks smoother. It's definitely a recommended treatment for us 40+ year olds. read more

Came here for a much needed contact eye exam. I called them right at 10 AM and asked for an appt about three hours later and they were able to fit me in which I appreciated. Everything that the other reviews say on this place is true. The staff are all very sweet, prices are awesome, and they are quick to follow up. Not only did I get an eye exam here, but I also got new frames for only $30, and I got my prescription put in for $90. Only $70 for a contacts eye exam! Highly recommend. read more

So after both my parents nagged me for weeks and my little sister fearing for her life every time she steps into my car, I finally got an eye exam. Came here to Dr. Than's office cos of good reviews on Yelp! (Good lookin out, Yelpers). Usually asian owned businesses are not known for their kind service but this place is definitely the exception! I was greeted immediately and treated like a QUEEN the whole time! No "wham-bam-thank-you-mam" attitude around here! LT Optometry gets 5 starts from me because of how professional and friendly the service was. Dr. Than (the owner) was awesome! She was patient and thorough with her explanations and not to mention super helpful! She also helped me pick out frames and wasn't too pushy to sell me "extras". Dr. Than is also highly trained and qualified she went to both UCLA & Berkeley, impressive! Also, LT Optometry's Facebook page and website were instrumental in aiding my decision on where to go for a new Optometrist. Pricing was affordable! $40 for an eye exam, $70 for contact lens exam/fitting/orientation. $15 for a month and a half supply of Acuvue Oasis. The best part was that it was FAST!!! I care about three things when going to my eye doctor: 1.) cost 2.) quick service 3.) reliable service With an asymmetry of knowledge,I don't know much about check ups.I notice Dr. Than did do a few things differently from my past optometrist. 1.) actually stared at my eyeball with a shinny light 2.) had me look at some color slide things 3.) showed me a short clip about astigmatism Apparently I have an astigmatism...who knew. Cons: For me a 5 stars means the best of the best, from the check up down to the customer service. I've been to LT optometry 3 times. I think the customer service here is a little odd . Sometimes they seem really nice and other times indifferent. Furthermore, when my brother asked why my plastic glasses( plastic is cheap right ? ) were price over $100, the receptionist told us " it's made in korea"....what? I've been seeing Dr. Lina Than for years now for all my optical needs and I have to say that I've been very satisfied with the work of her and her staff. She's done everything from eye exams, contact fittings, diagnosing my eye infection, to fixing the bridges on my glasses a bazillion times. I visited LT for my annual eye exam. From the reception to the actual visit, everything about my experience was great! I did a walk-in and the lady at the front was really welcoming and did a pre-exam before I got to see Dr. Vu. Dr. Vu (so young looking!) was so patient and a really good listener when I asked her many questions throughout the exam. I was nervous about getting my eyes dilated and trying contacts for the first time, but she made me feel really comfortable and helped me through the whole process. I have been going here since the early 2000s and I met the new owner, Dr. Lina Than, in 2008. I liked her a lot more than the last optometrist. She really is the best optometrist I've had so far. Dr. Lina is very thorough and elaborates in full detail what she is doing what what she sees. I trust her recommendations fully. The inventory she stocks are very diverse; from the super affordable lenses to the frames your heart desires, she has them all. Just as anyone else on Yelp, I try not to give 5 stars unless they are really worth it. - Experience - I came here after reading the reviews and quite frankly I was pretty uncertain still. Not only did I completely change my mind but I would GREATLY recommend this Optometry office. Dr. Lina was fantastic to have. She was very polite, professional, and comforting. I can genuinely say she is an amazing Optometrist. I would have been in and out for a normal comprehensive exam if I didn't decide on picking new frames and trying out contacts. She not only was very gentle and explained her process with me, but she was very kind the entire time and seemed very genuine. It was my first time trying contacts as well and after my experience here, I was reassured that this will be my go to place to get my eyes checked. She was very good about explaining how the insurance worked, so for anyone a bit concerned about how it works, or how much you or the insurance will pay, just ask, she is friendly and will guide you through it. - Pricing - I can't really comment in regards to how much other places cost but I'd say it is quite fair and she is very open about her pricing. She doesn't throw hidden costs at you after the fact but presents any costs you may endure before hand. She also works with you with the pricing pending on what you are having done and if you are purchasing multiple things, so just talk to her. - The kicker - I came back to pick up my glasses and when I was prompted to sign the paperwork in my file, there was a note for a refund. They accidentally overcharged me and it was noted to be refunded to me in the file. I felt much more confident and am excited to write this review seeing how her ethic is. I am very picky when it comes to my eyes! So I used Yelp to find just the right optometry for me. I called LT Optometry to make an appointment and I already felt at ease because the receptionist was extremely friendly. When I first walked in, I noticed how clean and neat everything is! Dr. Than's assistant was very welcoming and offered me a drink as I filled out some paperwork. I came here to get a new contact lenses prescription, so I had to get an eye exam. Dr. Than was professional and friendly at the same time. She knew exactly what she was talking about and met my every needs. She also showed me an informative video on her iPad about astigmatism! That was awesome! I will continue to come here for my eye care needs because (1) prices are decent bc I actually compared a couple of places before coming here (2) customer service is their top priority (3) Dr. Than is caring and very knowledgeable! The eye exam process and service was good. The after care service I was disappointed with. I ordered acuvue lenses through them after the exam and she did give me a choice to get them with or without the astigmatism. I opted out for it as the pricing for those are significantly higher and the difference isn't that great anyways. I later went to order color contact lenses through an online website as the pricing was much more aggressive. I ordered the contact lens without the astigmatism and I asked the online vendor to call the doctor to see if they can approve it but they responded to me via email and said the doctor had rejected the approval for them. Funny thing is when I ordered from them they let me have the choice to buy the Acuvue ones from them WITH or WITHOUT the astigmatism prescription. Now that I order from else where I was denied. I ranted and raved about how professional and friendly the doctor and her staff were after the first visit but I most likely will not again. ****Update: I missed their call yesterday while I was at work and they were proactive and fixed everything for me. It may have been a misunderstanding but the contact lens vendor just emailed me and said it was approved. I appreciate the fast response and turn around time in fixing the issue. I came to LT Optometry after eating at a nearby restaurant in the same plaza. The appearance of her office and the fact she was in my medical network were win win situations for me. I made an appointment to come in for an eye exam on a Friday morning and came away highly impressed not only with Dr. Than but everything about LT Optometry. Before we even began the exam she goes through all of the benefits that your insurance offers and is very upfront about all cost. Dr. Than was friendly and welcoming in all manners, the same can't be said for a lot of places in Little Saigon. During the eye exam she was pleasant and thorough, there was never a moment she rushed or seemed pushy. She made the whole experience relaxed and comforting, she never hesitated to answer questions and even gave me an opportunity to ask any questions I may have had after the exam. LT Optometry has a such a wide selection of the latest frames from many different companies. It 's actually hard to select a frame for your glasses because the choices are a plenty. The experience at LT Optometry was so great that I am taking my wife in to get her eyes checked as well. She's even more pickier than I am when it comes to health care providers. After going to many optometrists within the area, I was convinced that every optometrist was out to scam me. But when I came here it was fantastic. Dr. Than was able to help me find an awesome pair of glasses for a great deal. Not to mention her eye exams and contact lens exams were a combined total of 70! Now thats a better deal than walmart, costco, or any other major optical location. She never pressured me into buy anything too expensive and seemed to know my budget. This was my first visit and was referred by a family member. Making my appointment was easy and I received a follow up to confirm my information and the appointment time. When I arrived, I was impressed with the ambiance of Dr. Lina Than's practice. It's quite modern with plenty of displays and frames to choose from including my favorite brand Oakley. Its been years since i've had my eyes check so I wasn't used to the latest technology she used. I would have to say the experience was definitely more pleasant than I had anticipated. She took the time to compare different lens strengths and overall was very patient and easy to communicate with.
