I used an Amazon deal for a glasses eye exam and frame purchase. 4-Stars for being able to find affordable frames that I wanted, friendly customer service, use of modern/updated technology, and ease to talk to with Dr. Lina. They have lots or frame selections even though its a pretty small store/office. The technician/assistant, Tracy, seemed to push me to try on and buy the more expensive designer frames. I had mentioned getting something more affordable so I don't have to pay a huge difference. (I'm a struggling post grad who has loans to pay off...) I stood my ground and eventually found a pair of frames that were affordable and that I'm happy with. FYI be prepared to have EXACT change if you plan on paying in cash. I picked up my glasses and was going to pay in cash but they didn't have any change. I ended up just using my card. Dr. Lina was friendly and is definitely knowledgeable of her craft. Overall, I'm happy with my experience here. Most likely I'll just stick to my normal eye doctor that's just down the road. If I had to, I'd probably head back here. read more

I bought an Amazon deal for this establishment a month ago and I'm so happy that I did! 1. The location was just pretty near our area. Establishment was clean. 2. The staff in front was very helpful and accommodating. She offered me a bottled water while I was waiting for Dr. Lina. (It was just a short wait though and service was pretty fast) 3. Dr. Lina Than was very patient with me. Knowledgeable of her craft Plus you can tell she's really nice. 4. Was shocked that i received a written thank you note in the mail from her. Hand written! I appreciate that a LOT specially with our technology today. 5. And another shocker when she left a message on my voice mail, checking in on me regarding the glasses that I got from her. My daughter has been coming here for years. This has been her only eye doctor since shes little and she loves it here. Dr. Than is extremely patient and informative. And always has a smile on her. The staff is very welcoming and always very pleasant. I was running just a little late to pick up my daughters glasses and I called the office and asked if they could wait just a few minutes pass 6pm, and they told me no problem. I was only about 3 mins pass 6pm but just knowing that they waited until I arrived to pick up my daughters eye glasses, showed how much they truly care. I came by on a late Saturday afternoon, a bit before closing. The staff was very friendly, and registration was very simple. I was seen by Dr. Vicki Vu right away. She was very patient and knowledgeable. Even though she had a wedding to attend to, she stayed a few minutes after closing to ensure all my questions were answered! I've been going to LT Optometry since I was a little girl. I'm not sure how my parents found it or when I started going, but I do remember getting my first glasses in fifth grade. So, at the very least, I've been going here since I was in fifth grade. I'm in college now. My friends often hate going to the optometrist, but I personally enjoy doing so. It's very easy, stress-free, and - dare I say it - slightly fun. Dr. Lina is super nice and efficient. While I used to schedule appointments way in advance, my college schedule has been unpredictable and I usually call in the morning of and she can squeeze me in. I'm usually in and out within a half an hour for a check-up. However, during busier hours, there's a longer wait because she's only one person with one room to do her check-ups. Also, there's a large selection of prescription and sunglasses here, and they do accept insurance here. I also get my contact lenses straight from here. I really can't imagine going anywhere else. read more

I use to be a patient here over many years ago. So I was surprised to see a new face when I stopped by here again to have a check up. Dr LT was very thorough during the exam as I bombarded her with technical questions about my various options for contact lenses. Her patient in me reassured my confidence in her as my doctor. I also came back for a pair of prescription glasses. Unlike other places, she wasn't pushy in trying to sell me any frames and gave me my space to try them on by myself. Being very particular, I give her and her employer props for their professionalism. Hey they have a great sense of humor too and pleasant on the eyes! To be honest, I loved the service here. I came from Costco Optical in Huntington Beach in which I find a rude place with lousy customer service but I came here and I felt like I was treated right and respectfully. I was set up for an appointment and I had a great time there. It took less than an hour for an eye contact exam. My kids are the new patients of Dr. Lina Than. At the advice of Dr. Than, yesterday my daughter received an eye exam even though I thought my daughter wouldn't need glasses. My daughter is seven-year old, and she is very fidgety and restless. The Doctor and her assistance were very patience with her throughout the eye exam. They made sure to get the prescription correct by double checking. I personally saw my daughter not been able to read some of the letters on the wall. I was very surprised that my daughter needed glasses but also happy that I listened to Dr. Than's advice. Furthermore, yesterday, my son received his new glasses from Dr. Than. I was pleasantly surprised that the new glasses came within a week. From my experience from other optometry offices, normally it would take about two weeks to receive a pair of new glasses. Lastly, Dr. Than's office is modern with a good selection of glasses for kids and adults. Shortly, I will need an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. The staff and Dr. Than were really friendly, the prices were fair, and they were able to accommodate my eye exam with little to no wait. I have been to 3 Optometrists in the last 3 years because I've been getting a lot of eyestrain from spending too much time in front of the computer. The last 3 prescriptions didn't work out for me so I still have to use my 4 years old glasses. Dr. Than is very attentive, friendly, caring for her patients. Even though my eyes are not used with the new contact lenses, she called and asked to come back to try different ones until I can get the one that I'm comfortable with. I guess I'm not a contact-lens person so I will just stick with my prescription glasses. I would recommend Dr. Than to anyone. I went to LT today for the 1st time, I was very nervous as I have not had an eye exam in many many years. The office was very clean and organized and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming which made me less nervous. When it came time to see the dr I began to get nervous again but once she took the time to answer my questions and thoroughly explain my conditions to me I felt at easy and trusted I was absolutely in great hands!! I was in an out in less then hour even picking frames! But I felt she gave me more then complete exam and paid attention to all my concerns. uhm .... I'm not sure with all the high rating stars / reviews here. I am very skeptical when it gets to my health, especially optical because i wear glasses and contacts all the times, so i want to give my eyes the best treatment as much as possible. Dr. Than is okay, nice, professional, but she spent just a little time with me - maybe because i came in on the weekend and the house was full so she had to rush me out (i don't know...) But her staff is the main issue here. I came in around 2pm on Saturday, politely waited in front of the counter for almost 10 MINUTES and no one even bothered to greet me or asked if i needed help with anything. And yes, they saw me, because we made eye contact. But they simply ignored me with a cold distant look... and they are not even with the customers at the moment, the girls just stared at the computer forever... I mean, would it be that hard to just tell me to wait and she would be right back with me? I'll be very happy to wait if she just simply let me know that she's aware of my existence in the office. read more

The doctor was alright but I just could not stand how the front desk girl would give the look as if she is better than you. The optometrist is through, I've recommended many of my friends and family here and they have taken care of everyone very well.
