Angel is also such a great manager at the store. I've visited multiple Pearle Vision locations in the area and understand they are under the same ownership, but my experience at the Westminster location stood out significantly -- largely because of Daniel. Daniel was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional from the moment I walked in. He took the time to look up my insurance coverage in detail and made sure I was fully maximizing my benefits rather than just rushing through the process. His knowledge of coverage options, frame selections, and overall workflow was very impressive, and I truly felt like he had my best interest in mind. Prior to coming here, I initially visited the Pearle Vision in Irvine since it was much closer to my home. Unfortunately, that visit was not very pleasant, which made the contrast with Westminster even more noticeable. The level of service, attentiveness, and willingness to help at the Westminster location was on a completely different level. If you're considering Pearle Vision, I highly recommend going to the Westminster location and asking for Daniel specifically. I had a great experience with Dr Luong, the optometrist and Angel, the optician. Dr Luong performed a thorough eye examination and explained in detail the results of the retinal scan showing the health status of my eyes. When it came time to select a frame and lenses, Angel was very transparent when listing the cost of the various options. I went into Pearl Vision for an eye exam and contacts and glasses. The cost of glasses was way out of my budget even with the 40% discount. My appointment was on July 10 which is when I put the first deposit down on the contacts which were $1000 and I was promised a $300 rebate. When I picked up my contacts on August 20 they told me the rebate information was in the bag. I said great thank you when I finally looked in the bag and looked at the invoice I discovered I was sold two years worth of contacts, and the rebate expired on June 30. I have called several times to get a new code so I can send in for my rebate. They ghosted me. I get absolutely no response so I thought maybe if I posted a review, I might get a response too. I feel very taken advantage of. I did not need two years of contacts when on a very tight budget. read more
