We have had spectrum for over 2 years. Their price keeps going up and up. Now with their internet, 3 televisions my monthly cost is $210.00. We only have level 1 & 2 on the tv. I have been a customer for over 4 years and every time I go into the store to pay their employee, Cassie, is very unprofessional. I prefer to pay in cash so if something goes wrong I can talk to someone about what happens. She always gives me a hard time and today I tried to pay in cash so I don't over pay and she kept telling me I can only pay the kiosk. I don't like paying more than what my bill is and I needed change, she told me She could break my $20 but what's the big deal. If she can break my $20 why can't I just pay her for my bill it would be the same. She was rude when I tried asking what's the problem and why can't she just take my money and just kept saying they can't and to pay at the kiosk. I have had her every time I go in and I dread it. BAD! if you have a other option for tv take it! They got my order wrong twice. Sent me the wrong box and didnt include a return shipping label like they said they would. The price you see on there web site is double what you'll actually pay. The installer (not 3rd party) was terrible. Save yourself the headache, frustration and money. I cancelled cable service via phone on Monday January 18 (nearly an hour long process) and was heading into the store that same day just to return our cable box. (I should also mention I called to cancel our service two weeks before but the agent on the phone said to wait until the end of our billing period since they can't prorate in California. Total BS, I've had cable with Cox and AT&T and both prorated our last month.) I went through front door checkin and there were only 3 people in front of me which made me hopeful since I had to be there with my 3 year old. Unfortunately, it was almost 45 minutes before my name was finally called. When the agent (who told me he was the store manager) went to process my equipment, he said service had never been turned off. You'd think, no problem, just turn it off and here's my equipment. The account is under my husbands name. This hasn't been a problem for the many times I've had to call in regarding our account. I have all the account info including our PIN number, all of my husbands pertinent info memorized, our most recent bill and OUR FREAKING CABLE BOX WITH SERIAL NUMBER, but nope, not enough for this dude who can see me in person. My husband had just gone into a meeting at work so couldn't do much, but sent a text saying it was ok to add me to the account, which I showed the agent from my phone, sent from my husbands phone number. Still not enough. He HAS to speak to him in person. Did I mention that this is the last day to do this or we're getting charged another $100 of TV service that can't be prorated?? So after standing there for another 30 minutes with my son freaking out, waiting for my husband to get out of his meeting, my husband calls. I put him on the phone with the jerk manager who only asks him his date of birth and if it's ok to add me to account. Never even verified what phone number the call came from. Then he passed me off to another lady who processed my equipment (who I should say was super nice and if I'd just had the experience with her, my review would be quite different.) But instead I will warn every person I know to stay away from this terrible company and most specifically from the manager at the Temecula location. He should be banned from all customer service positions for the rest of his life. read more

We got Time Warner when we moved to the area back in 2012. I can't complain about the customer service as I have never had an issue. The issue we do have is in quality. For some reason audio cuts out every few minutes. It does this everyday of the week at all times. It cuts out for about 5 seconds or so each time on any channel we're watching. It has done this since the beginning of our service. It has to be the cable because it doesn't do it when I play Xbox or the DVD player. We have gotten used to it, but it is rather annoying when we miss something important. Something that does happen with the Xbox though is when we watch Netflix. The movie or T.V. show digitizes or turns green. This is SUPER annoying. I am unsure if this is caused by the service, but since it is streaming through the cable/internet it might have something to do with it. read more

After a frustating time with Spectrum saying the issue above was from my VPN they finally sent out a tech. After checking the cable and the speed of the internet coming into the house he found that it was faulty new equipment (modem) from Spectrum. I was happy that he replaced it, but they should have done more in the way of customer service to start with and not blamed everyone else for their issue. read more

Big waste of time. On Monday evening was at Spectrum Wireless on Grape St...to sign up for wireless phone service. They could not verify and information on me or my hubby. I wanted to change from Red Pocket tmobile...well what the hell! There about an hour still cannot verify identity..I had my drivers license and account number with spectrum tv and internet...so not able to do anything. 2nd hour there the computer says we need to send you a sim card to your house...it will be there in 2 days guaranteed! Then I bring my own Brand New phone Moto G Stylus still in the box from Sams club....guess what..you cannot bring your own new Moto G phone...I have to buy theirs!! Found out today That Was A Lie! Still waiting home for delivery of Sim card at 6:07 pm...just received a notice from Fedex it will be delivered Friday before 8pm!! Go somewhere else please! read more

Returned the modem today after switching to Frontier. They signed me up for this deal for $39 then switched to $59 without notice. I tried calling them 100 times talked to 100 reps and they wouldn't budge on the price. I was helped by a rep named Monroe and i came in to return my modem and router and told him i wanted to cancel my internet. He started looking at the screen and not saying anything for like 5 minutes so i asked if he was able to find my account. He was rude said he was doing something and he end up canceling out my cable to which is included in my rent so i didn't want that canceled. He blamed me because he said i didn't say not the cable too! I was like you didn't ask me and thats your job to do so. I only came in with internet equipment not cable boxes. He had to call out his manager who didn't introduce himself and never got his name he was unprofessional as well. I mentioned to Monroe i was going to write corporate and he flashed his name badge and said i don't care do what you gotta do! My name is Monroe and proceeded to flash his name badge at me! I said that's the point you don't care! I ended up in that store for 45 minutes just to pay my last bill up and cancel my internet because Monroe didn't know what he was doing and the manager was barely helping him. Neither one of them apologized for my wasted time and HORRIBLE experience or there actions...and Monroe and his bad attitude and lack of knowledge! Don't go there expecting help !! Today we went in to switch our mobile service from AT&T to Spectrum mobile. We also added a line to our plan. In the end, my wife and I upgraded our phones to the iPhone 12 pro max and the iPhone 12 Pro (respectively) and added a line and it was more affordable than AT&T (when we leased phones from them). This was just over a two hour process to change the numbers over, download iPhone updates and sync from the cloud or transfer apps , photos etc. Every step of the way, Alexander was there for us. He helped us set up parent accounts for us to view our new line and troubleshot every thing that was an obstacle. He did all this, while helping other customers at the same time. The man deserves a raise! We are very pleased with his service and level of competency. If you need help switching your cellular plan over from a different provider, I'd recommend trying to meet with Alexander. He truly knows what he's doing. read more

Even when a woman freaked out and made a scene because they asked her to put in her mask. These employees get yelled at all the time just for doing their job during a pandemic. I called Spectrum to switch from Frontier because there price was supposedly better and their internet faster. I was told to go to the store in Temecula and pick up my equipment for self installation. I went to the store on 2/24 and was told to register on the screen and wait. After 20 minutes I was called up to the counter and rudely told I couldn't not self install anything, I would need to pay $60 to have a technician come out and install service and that it would be an additional $7.99 per month if I wanted 3 TVs connected instead of two. The lady then asked why I hadn't ordered home phone service and attempted to get me to change my cell phone service as well. The whole thing is a crock of bait and switch crap. The service agent was rude, didn't act like she wanted to be there nor did she help me in any way. I plan now on staying with Frontier. I am not disappointed with their service just their price. The tv commercials that Spectrum runs about switch and be happy at a lower price for faster internet and better cable are total bull shit. The lady with the poor attitude and no help at the store needs to be fired. read more

I signed up for Internet service April of last year and canceled April of this year. All year they gave me trouble. They are very unhelpful and unprofessional. I had service with them for 12 months. They charged me for 13 months. You can never get ahold of them. They increase they're prices without properly informing their customers. They also added TV streaming and cable services without my approval and charged us for that so now we have to dispute it and have our calls reviewed to get a refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We have had Spectrum for about 2 years now & it's seems every couple months we have issues. Several phone calls to them and a handful of techs coming out to our house. Finally after all the issues we agreed to upgrade due to the fact that they offered us no install or activation fees & only that our bill would go up $20 dollars a month more due to faster WiFi well long story short we got charged $59.98 in fees and when I called to have them reverse the fees & stand by their word they said their company cannot back what their sales team promise & they hear it all the time. Terrible customer service!! Don't believe what they promise you. I will be looking for another provider & asking for everything in writing first. read more

This place is hands down one of the worst companies ever. Technician came and couldn't do his job because our line was clogged. He needed the construction crew to fix it. Fair enough. Spectrum told me they'd send the crew out asap to fix it. A week goes by and the scheduled the technician to come again and he shows up, same problem still there so he can't do his job. I called customer support and they said it was never put in for the construction crew and then the story was that it was on hold so I talked to a manager and they couldn't care less that I wanted to cancel and just told me ok and when I said they need to work on customer service he again just said ok. I went to spectrum Temecula tonight to switch out my modem and ended up switching from AT&T to spectrum mobile for my hubs. First off we walked in 30 minutes before closing and Michael was happy to help. Daniel his manager was great also. They both stayed an hour late and during that time we had experienced 3 electric power outages. They still stayed calm and patient. Finally my husband walked out with his new iPhone! Ugh, I have to say this ranked up there with one of the worst customer experiences, or should I say lack of customer service experiences. I had to pick up some cable equipment, and I was excited to see no line in this place. Yay, no line at the cable company. Wahoo, I thought. I told the guy I had arranged to return and pick up equipment as per my phone call with Spectrum/Time Warner. He literally said ok, didn't look up, took the old boxes, looked them up in the computer, got the others, and handed them to me without a word. I asked if there were instructions and he said no. I asked if I plugged them in and they would work and he said yep. That was it. No looking up at me. That was it till I got home, and had to call customer service to find out how to get them to work. I guess I was supposed to get instructions. I hope Spectrum improves on this now that they have taken over. Ugh! read more

While the internet itself is working great and customer service reps are polite and friendly, there is still a lot to be improved upon in the customer service realm. Hold times are ridiculous, calls don't get returned, and it really seems like the reps are disconnected from one another - frequently transferring you to the wrong department and requiring you to confirm your account multiple times with multiple people. They need a complete overhaul in this department. So overall, a great product, great people, but poor service and problem solving. read more

Very impressed with our technician who installed our internet today. My family used to be a TWC customer before, then we switched to Verizon/Frontier Fios for a couple years. Today we made the switch back over to Time Warner Cable as they had the best deal available. Our technician's name was Steve and he was very polite and a pretty cool person. He also noticed the coax cable connection to the wall was damaged and replaced it very quickly. Steve, if you happen to read this, you're the homie! Thank you so much for your help today.
