I had one of the most ridiculous customer service experiences at this Spectrum store on 3/9/2026 during the closing shift. I drove all the way to the store, waited patiently in line, and when it finally got to me -- I was literally the last customer in line -- the clock hit 8:00 PM sharp. Instead of helping me, the two employees working the closing shift immediately told me they could not serve me because the store closes at 8 PM. Here's the part that makes this even more absurd: I wasn't opening a new account, asking for technical help, or anything complicated. I simply needed to swap out a modem. Spectrum customer service had already placed the order for the device exchange and explicitly told me to go to the store and pick it up. This is something that should take less than two minutes. Despite explaining this, the two staff members flat-out refused to help and told me to come back the next morning. Let me be clear: If a customer is already in line before closing, the bare minimum expectation is that you finish serving the line -- especially for something that takes under two minutes. Turning away the last person who has already waited in line simply because the clock hits 8:00 PM is incredibly poor customer service. This experience was frustrating, unnecessary, and frankly lazy service. I wasted a trip and my time because the closing staff didn't want to help with something extremely quick. I hope the store manager reviews this incident and speaks with the closing staff from 3/9/2026 (the two employees working that shift) about basic customer service expectations. Terrible service. Came in to dispute a double activation phone charge and team here is very dishonest and manipulative when you do business with them. My experience with this store trying to remove the charge has been met with nothing but an incompetent floor manager with no solutions or even bothers to help and my original service lady who just laughs at you in front of your face when trying to bring up any sort of issue or gets troubled by it. The people here only care about signs ups and charges so they can pocket the commission rather than assist you. I signed up for a phone plan originally and later put another phone on the line. The man was not honest about Spectrum charging you double since you start "service" in between the previous billing "cycle" even if it's by one day (to avoid two phone bills, ask to start service on your billing date and not start service now). Not to mention this man put me on the highest plan when I first signed up without any sort of acknowledgement. Had I not intervened I would have had two maximum charged phone bills. I then come into the store to dispute the charge and Monica Garcia (desk service) gets offended when I ask to dispute the charge. She claims she won't help me at all because I had left my ID (I still pay the bill and signed into spectrum mobile on the phone infront of her). I ask for the store manager because she made it clear she did not want to help me. The manger comes, Edgar Godina. He is more open to talking with me and assists me with my account. I explain how the first man who signed me up was predatory with his practices and failed to mentioned the double billing cycle and was dishonest about the plan I was on in order make his commission. Godina told me there was nothing he can do for me after everything spectrum did. He provided no help and never once gave a solution about how he could even try to help me. In the meanwhile the original lady Garcia is behind him laughing out loud because he is telling me no. No idea where they find these people to work for them but I believe they need to restructure their employees to learn how to assist and give their manger a better understanding of customer service. No idea how he became a store manager when he alone could not come up with any solutions and allows his store employees to laugh and mess around during work hours. Will be going back to Verizon and their phone plans across the floor from them. Verizon when I was with them put me on a business plan with them to lower my bill while Spectrum charged me two billing cycles, put me on a higher phone plan for both phones without asking, gave me no solutions in my problems, and laughed in my face in person when I came to them. read more

Monica helped me and my parents today upgrade from iPhone 7/8s to the iPhone 16 pro when we used to be with Verizon. She was SO helpful, patient, and knowledgeable about the prices and plans available! She helped us switch completely and now we'll be paying around $200 less every month because of her! We are ongoing spectrum customers so the bundle worked well to save us money. Poor service. The first thing I did when I arrived at the store was to check in and waited for the call for my turn as prompted on the tablet. Sat down and waited on the bench by the window, then one by one, everybody was called, then finally the elder couple that was sitting down by the couch was called. Then I transferred there as it was more comfortable seat to wait. I was watching videos and playing games on my phone, then took a very short nap. Still no call, for like an hour. I went to this location to get mobile service. I checked in and was the fifth person on the list. I was called up after about 15 minutes. I told the customer service employee that I wanted to switch to Spectrum and buy a phone. She started to help me but another employee said he knew how to how to give me a discount. He said he would take care of me after he helped another customer. I sat down and saw him go in the back office 5 minutes later. After 30 minutes, the first employee said she didn't know what happened but would have an employee who was just starting her shift. She said she had to log into the system first. Note: review is about the purchase and porting experience only. Spectrum service over time is not included in my review. Switched from a larger carrier that I've had for a very long time. We were tired of the growing costs. By switching, we were able to cut them by more than half. We signed in and we're 5th on the waiting list. I couldn't sign onto the list from home this late in the evening (6 pm on Tuesday). Once checked in, we were 5th on the list. It took us roughly 30 minutes before we were able to meet with Christopher. Christopher was polite and knowledgeable. He answered each of our questions patiently then walked us through the porting process and preordering my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Each step was very simple and we reused our existing phones for the time being. We'll be back in a week or so when my phone arrives to do all of the phone switching within the family.
