Save your time and do not come here. They will lie to your face and make claims that they cannot stand behind. The gentleman and young woman working between 6pm - 7pm on Saturday 9/12/26 straight up lied. I was told that once I was added as an authorized user that I would be able to upgrade my phone. I left, was added as an authorized user, came back with proof and was told that nothing could be done. Wasted trip and wasted effort due to them. read more

Very dishonest experience. I strongly advise avoiding this location. The employee who assisted me, Crystal, made multiple promises about adding specific benefits to my plan if we signed up. However, once the contract was signed, none of those promises were honored. I was told my monthly phone bill would be a certain amount, but what was never disclosed was that the first two months would be nearly three times higher. In just two months, I have already been charged over $1,000 for service for two phones and a smartwatch. I was also told the phones we received would be free as part of a promotion for new customers since we traded in our paid-off devices. That turned out to be misleading. On top of that, I later discovered additional services, including an early upgrade option, were added to my account without my consent or any discussion. I have returned to the store four separate times to try to resolve these issues, but Crystal has been dismissive and unwilling to help each time. After the contract was signed, it felt like we were completely ignored. Overall, this experience has been misleading, dishonest, disrespectful, and highly unprofessional. I strongly recommend going to an official AT&T corporate store instead to avoid similar issues. read more

Very dishonest. We had a very frustrating experience at this AT&T store. The employee who assisted us, Crystal, made several promises about adding certain benefits to our plan if we signed up. However, after the contract was signed, those promises were never honored. What was even more concerning is that our account was changed by her to a business account without our consent, which resulted in dozens of extra dollars being charged every month compared to what we were originally told. We have already gone back to the store four times trying to resolve this issue, but Crystal has been extremely dismissive and unwilling to help. Once the contract was signed, it felt like we were completely ignored. This experience felt misleading, dishonest, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I strongly recommend going to an official AT&T corporate store instead of this location to avoid similar issues. Very disappointing experience. read more

I had a great experience here I had Amity help me. This was the fastest service not only professionally but generally actively quick. She was super sweet and you wish she was doing gummy out in less than 20 minutes. I really appreciate it Loved the feeling confident and happy with the transition that went by so smoothly!!! Thank you amity!!! read more

Dishonest and very commission driven. After learning of my veteran status the associate told me I qualified for free AirPod pros. Two months later after reviewing my bill I noticed some charges. What the associate had did was give me a veteran discount on my account that was almost the same as the monthly payments on the AirPods. I should have been offered the discount based on my service, not in exchange for buying accessories. These retail stores are commission driven, and should not be trusted. The staff here is not looking out for your best interest. You're much better off going to a corporate store like San Dimas. read more

I got the help I needed but Crystal did not go above and beyond like the other places normally do. It seemed like the bare minimum. It was my first and last time coming to this location read more

RUDE! Zero customer service. Going in to pay a bill and a 25 minute + wait time...no payment kiosk. They leave girls to work closing shifts ALONE with zero help. Also, they are a vendor, not actually AT&T. They don't answer to anyone for being rude. They LIE about plans and UPCHARGE. Pay attention to your bill after this store. Do yourself a favor and travel the extra 5 min to the real store in San Dimas. Zero stars if possible...hopefully they close soon! read more

This place tries to lure you in with really good promotions. Once you sign up for them, just make sure you double/ triple check your AT&T bill as the associates will tell you that they "waived "all of the unnecessary fees. They will also try to upsell you and when you say no, they will sometimes still add it to your bill. For example, I opted out of the unlimited data plan and only wanted to go up one tier, The associate kept trying to convince me to go to unlimited, and I firmly said no. Come to find out on the next billing cycle that she signed me up for unlimited anyway. I have had to call AT&T a number of time to get my bill straightened out. Also, most of the associates there seem apathetic/bored most of the time. They seem very unwilling to get out of their chairs to actually help you with any tech related issues. I felt badly because there was an older gentleman trying to get his phone data transferred over from his old phone, he kept asking the associate questions, the associate kept sitting down at his chair and checking his own phone and giving very vague instructions to the poor man. It's sad to say, but if you decide to go, make sure you document everything that's a promise you and get it down in writing. If you are not to text Abby, bring somebody with you who can help you decipher what is a necessary charge versus something completely superfluous read more

I felt like I was coerced into buying what the salesperson thought I needed. Whenever I asked for something, she would say "Why? You don't need that" and refused to sell it to me. For instance, I wanted more memory and she said I didn't need it. She also went through my phone and deleted things she didn't think I used. She told us we had to use the new chargers and we had to purchase them, later I found out that we didn't need to. Very unpleasant experience, but now I'm convinced I'm going to switch from AT&T to a different service. read more

Customer service was shitty I wish I remember the girls name. All I remember is she had chipped white painted fingernails really seem like she didn't wanna be there at all or help me just wanted me to get out I seen the way she looked soon as I was about to walk in felt unwanted immediately not sure if she was judging me thinking i was up to something or what but I wouldn't want anyone to deal with that feeling all I wanted was to get my phone activated or possibly buy a new one read more

It was ok looking for an easy phone for my elderly mom. Just not as informative as I expected it to be. There is no trial period. They say there is a 14 day trial but if you return the phone they charge a stocking fee that is as much as the phone. Really?! So if my mom can't figure out the flip phone it will be a wasted $60. read more

After having a lackluster visit at the San Dimas location, Alex at the La Verne location was excellent. He was already assisting another customer but her download was taking a while so he helped us as well. He is a great multitasker. He helped us with an upgrade. Gave us some good tips. I was impressed with his customer service and speed. I will be back to this location. I would not recommend the San Dimas one. read more

Scam operation and avoid going here for service. I went to the store today to find out why 2 additional phone lines were added to my senior citizen parents phone account. The manager, not sure of her name, but previous reviewers back up my story of fraud on my parents' account. We upgraded in early October 24 and all seemed fine until the bill was $400. 1 printed the bill out and there were 2 extra phone lines with my dad's name not spelled correctly and the highest level of insurance and 4+ phone plan for my 2 elderly parents. I called Global Fraud for AT&T and waited the 30 days and nothing happened. Now, my parents have to pay a fraud ransom to AT&T because if they don't pay the ransom amount they will not be able to keep their phone numbers. I asked the manager if there was a district manager above her that I could appeal to and all she said was he never comes in here, what? Don't go to this location because you will walk out happy until you get a surprise bill and can do nothing about it. Go to an Apple Store if you want to upgrade. read more

All I can say is that if you going to get any kind of new wireless, satellite or internet service. Make sure you get everything in writing and ask as many questions. This people get commission for any new services, warranties, etc and they k own once you leave the store you may not come back or maybe too late to change anything you signed. I walk into this location to get a upgrade for one of my lines. ,(I have 3,) Amy took care of me. She asked the basic questions and gived me an offer hard to refuse. I was getting a new phone for all 3 lines and was going to pay less. I asked her to please disclose any extra charges I'll have to pay and told her to please be honest about it as I had a bad experience at that location already with my Direct tv service. She told me all I had to pay was taxes for the phones. I paid for that and when almost done signing paper work she also old me about activation fees... I didn't like the fact she didn't say anything about it when I ask but I understood these are normal fees when getting new service. Anyways. I was paying 150$ per month and I suposed to pay 120+ tax with the new package. 3 weeks after I get my first bill and surprised! 370$. I called 611 to have a rundown of the bill and charges and they told me I was charge 3 activations fees 30 each. Insurance for all the devices even the ones I didn't get with at&t lol, 10 each, 5$ each for some kind of program to upgrade faster when need it. And 5$ each for upgrading!!! When I call the store and asked for the store manager, all she w Had to say was "I just took over the store" sorry. So please! Keep in mind these people lies. They assume you are just not going to care once you get the first bill. And if you do they expecting 611 to fix it as long as they get their commission for signing you for everything they can possibly cash out. read more

Not coming back to this particular store. Monday, August 17, 2020 (2:30 pm-ish) I came in to discuss a tablet wireless plan for my iPad. I was the only one in the store at the time besides a young male employee. Sadly he was more interested in texting someone back and forth on his phone than helping me. It was like I was a distraction to his personal business! Nothing more irritating than someone constantly face down on their phone. Dumb young people today. A generation of idiots obsessed with their phone. I feel sorry for them. And to top it off, a few minutes later another young male employee comes in carrying a Taco Bell bag. Don't bother us was the vibe I got. Apparently it was time for lunch which was more important to them than helping a customer (me). These two guys should be thankful they don't work for me, they'd be looking for a new job. I walked out. read more

I purchased a phone, iPad n watch a few months ago and found several charges on my next bill I was unaware of . I called AT & T and they reversed two of the charges. I came back this week to purchase the same three items for my daughter asking for a full disclosure of charges this time. During our time there she was vague and confused at times. My daughter chose the color of I pad which had to be ordered and when she received it found it was not the color she requested. I called the 800 number they said to return it within two weeks to the store they would exchange it. When I took it back they gave me an 800 number to call I went outside n called they said they were online purchase returns not store purchased returns. I went back into the store n while they were on the phone repeated their statement. The salesperson said she had no way of returning it I had to drive to Cucamonga. The operator asked to speak to her. She was told to return the item. She refused and said I needed to take it to s corporate store. They disagreed. She handed the phone back to me and said to take it to Cucamonga. I asked her if the San Dimas was a corporate store. She said they were closed had been for days n people were coming to LaVerne. I told the supervisor I would call back, I left I called San Dimas they said they were open had been. Interesting. I went there they told me they needed a bar code n the exchange could have been done at the point of purchase. I told them they refuse. They called over n said the exchange could be done in LaVerne. They hung up on them. She then had her supervisor call back to contact the manager in LaVerne who said they would do the exchange. I went back to LaVerne. When I got back to the LaVerne store I was told her manager was on a call n said she would not return the item n would leave after her call. After two days, three supervisors another store they refuse to exchange it. I called the 800 number while I was there and asked what to do. They spoke to her and asked what the issue was? They said to exchange it for the preferred color. She refuse. He said that normal protocol was to waive a return fee and exchange the product. She refuse. He was apologetic but said she should have taken care of the exchange initially and had no idea what was going on. So here's my suggestion, do business with corporate stores only. LaVerne is only a store front. A mistake made by the employee was not dealt with in a professional way n my time and efforts and business meant nothing them. To add insult to injury I just found out she enrolled me in a protection plan at $25 a month without my knowledge. Tomorrow day three. What should have taken fifteen minutes as an exchange has turned into craziness. Good luck read more

Do not come to this store it is the worst!! I went in only wanting a SIM card but since they ask for your account info. They said I was paying way too much for my bill its ridiculously high. He said we can lower it right now I said I would come back another day I was in a hurry. But the representative and I'm pretty sure it was the manager as well were really insistent. They said it takes no time so I gave in turns out they added another line to my account I was being charged 45.00. Be careful because they didn't say they are adding a line just that I'll get a text and to provide the PIN number to them so they can make the change to lower the bill. It didn't lower my bill in actuality it went up much higher. I went in on the first bill they said the new line was a credit to lower my bill. That was a lie I had to call customer service to remove the line. Double check your bill they are not truthful. Just a horrible experience I had to go in multiple times and my bill is not any lower now I pay more. I had a grandfathered plan which I can't get anymore because of the change they made. I had to file a complaint against them with customer service to get refunded back everything I was overpaying for. Also seems to be something customer service is aware of stating the store does this and adds lines without telling ppl. My bill went from $270 to $377 . I was paying $20 per line and went up to $56. read more

An absolutely awful experience. Called on the phone ahead of time and was told to come in specifically at 4:30 to pick up an Apple Watch. After waiting for 30 min and receiving no help, I was told by the only employee in the store (the other associate left after telling me I'd be helped in just a minute) that he had no idea where the watch was and I just needed to wait. After seeing my frustration after 45 minutes of waiting and being blatantly misled, I was told "you're gonna get it today though..." Thanks. After 50 minutes, I left with nothing but wasted time. I came to this store because I thought I'd have better service than at others in the area, but was terribly mistaken. The employees were unhelpful, unprepared, and unprofessional. Having worked in retail, this is genuinely, shockingly, almost impressively, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. read more

This review is for Amy. I will never see anyone else at any other att store. She was amazing. Super helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

First of all this is not a corporate Att store but there is no signage warning you of this. It is a convenient location and the store has been fine in the past. Jason, supposedly a manager, is extremely rude and arrogant. He is also a liar. He not only refused to tell me who sold me the phone (I wasn't sure but I think it was him). Then he rudely asked why I was there. When I explained I was not told of charges to my account when getting a new phone he at one point said "you're done". He then lied and said i was not on a 95 dollar plan. I left and within less than 10 minutes I came back to show him my bill. He hid in the back as I was told he wasn't there and to come back. Also when he was hiding in the back, the other employee, a youngish girl said to me "don't take that tone with me" when I was trying to tell her it was a couple of minutes ago as I believed he was there. On my 5 minute drive home I called to see if she would answer with her name. A few hours later I got 2 missed calls from that number. Coincidence? I am now checking with the City to see who the owner of this franchise is. read more

If you're coming in, ask for Andrew! I've never been more impressed with someone's customer service and display of store. Andrew did an amazing job at helping me settle my issue. I had come here to switch over from T-Mobile and couldn't be more proud of my decision. Andrew made the process super easy and quick. And coming from a stressful situation with T-Mobile, he made sure there was no hassle for me to join. He assured me of the benefits and process to switch over and keep my number. He kept me informed along the process of the switch and I had no impression of him just wanting my money. The store itself was also kept nice! I've been in and out of several different service stores but this one looked like it employed people who cared about the appearance. Very proud of the condition this store is kept in. read more

AT&T Store - Always clean and organized store! - Mobile Phones Near Me - La Verne, California

Terrible. I ordered a iPhone 13 Pro Max on a Monday night via AT&T website and went to La Verne store to pickup on Tuesday. They sold the phone to someone else. They did not inform me and waisted my valuable time. I will now cancel my account of 4 lines. I have been a long time customer. No longer. Time for a new carrier. Ugh........ I came in to take off a tablet I had on my account. The tablet was free with the Att service. I was cool with this. Kinda costly to do as it adds another device to your plan, but it was useful. For whatever reason, the tablet's gps was a lot better than my phone's, go figure I came in to ask that it be taken off my account. I haven't used it in a few months, and forgot that I even had it. I figured it would be a simple request, right?? NOPE. They kept on trying to give me a new tablet and/or a smartwatch, as long as I add it to my account, which would put 3 devices onto my account. That costs a bit more monthly. They even told me to sell the one I have for a quick buck I DO NOT WANT A NEW TABLET. I WANT TO DISCONNECT SERVICE FROM THE ONE I HAVE. What the heck is wrong with you people, ATT? JFC, is it that hard to understand that I DON'T want something??? Don't get me wrong. I get the hustle, but you don't have to be so aggressive, that's a huge turnoff to customers I imagine a world where I can walk in and make a simple change to my account hassle free. This world is most likely T-Mobile, which I'm going back to once I pay off this phone, I'm sorry TMo that I left you for a discount #takemeback read more

For the past month I had been unsuccessful in pairing my newly purchased AT&T Galaxy S9 phone to the bluetooth in my car. Today @ 10:40am: I called the advance AT&T TA (Technical Assistance) team on the phone for assistance. I explained the problem in that my car recognized the phone but the phone would not recognize the car, thus preventing me from pairing the two. The TA Rep only suggestion was for me to take my car to the car dealer. This had me ready to cancel the service all together and return back to Verizon! I went into the AT&T store on Foothill in La Verne and spoke with the manager Aaron who was oh so kind and understanding. He and his team research several options and refused to give up until they found the one that worked. I wanted to transfer my mother from another mobile carrier to AT&T today, but when we walked in, we were ignored. AT&T is usually has great customer service. But this time, my mom, my fiancé and I were ignored for at least 5-10 minutes before we just left. Granted, the two associates were with customers, but they didn't even acknowledge us. No "We'll be with you in a moment." Now "Welcome". Yes, they saw us. But maybe they were with difficult customers? I don't give negative reviews that often , but this was unusual for AT&T. I have been an AT&T customer since 2008. A decade. If it was not for Aaron and his staff at this location I would have canceled and saved money by bundling with Spectrum. Due to the inexperience and outright stupidity of the telephone support or online contact, I would much rather walk into this store and deal directly with knowledgeable, quick and respectful staff. Aaron has reduced my stress level by 95%. No matter how often I come in the store bothering him because of some screw up the company or an in house rep does, he always listens patiently and goes beyond the call of duty to rectify the issues. This Location is amazing I went In for some trouble with my phone when it unexpectedly went out a young lady was helping out multiple customers it seemed she was working all by herself how quick and efficient she helped each customer with out looking like she got overwhelmed was astonishing to me. She managed to help everyone and manage to have a smile and make each customer laugh. She was able to help me switch over from Verizon and after having a bad experience at another location she was able to answer and ease all my concerns. I was Very hesitant about getting a new phone because I didn't want to lose my information she told me that she will handle everything and make sure everything was done and I would Not have to worry. Due to me not knowing my information it made the process a little difficult for her. She told me she would spend all day with me to help me figure it out. It was a very long process and she managed to make the process fun enjoyable and a less stressful process. She was then able to to give me her information so I can Call her if I had Any issues. She made my AT&T experience enjoyable and fun. This store is very lucky to have her be so knowledgeable and patient and so supportive. She is an excellent asset to this company and I believe on how hard she worked she deserves to have a raise. Thank you Miss Amy for helping me and getting a lifetime costumer. I hope She doesn't leave because I wouldn't know anyone else who can have so much patience and do it with a beautiful smile on her face.
