Honestly I don't recommend this place at all I went in to replace my screen and the rear of my iPhoneX pro max and the screen you can tell it was some cheap replacement that you can get for 50 bucks and the screens weren't even put on together because as soon as I put my case on it didn't fit anymore and I've been using the same otter box for years and I never even dropped it but the case was on so tight that it already broke the back glass of my phone they charged me 200 dollars in cash and no receipt so as soon as I told them about my problem they declined and said I must of dropped it would never go back here or recommend anyone to go there read more

They also help explain to you..certain things you can learn to do for free. Tricks and tips. They carry a bunch of parts but some need to be ordered. My old phone was going to take a few days. Repairs are priced about average or slightly under but after getting my phone fixed here 4 times in 6 months I decided not to bring my phone back here the glass the use is cheap and will break extremely easy. This past time I bring my phone in to fix it fell less then a foot off my lap onto the floor the screen and the cheap screen protector he provides shattered into pieces I never seen such a shatter before I really couldn't believe that happened on Easter Day I had to wait to Monday when everything was open again I didn't even bother to go back there. I had my phone fixed by him 3 times this year about once a month since this year started. Don't use this store . They had my phone for days and every time I called they said it would be ready any day. After three weeks they told me they couldn't get the part. Another phone I took in because I bricked it, they told me after 2 days they couldn't do anything with it. I then took it to a another phone repair store and they were able install the newest version of firmware. The place is a mess with phones that need service scattered all over the place-wont go there again. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. Cracked iPhone screen? $40. I almost went to some guy in a garage in Venice Beach that charges double. Water damaged Galaxy S2 that won't charge? $35. Sprint wouldn't touch the phone because I mentioned water damage. It's a recession yo! The days of throwing up my hands and replacing my phone are long gone. Okay so I'm docking this place a star because i dropped my charger off my couch and the whole front part of the usb broke open, it kinda sucked seeing as my warranty on the product was for 7 days and this happen to happen about 10 days after, in all honesty i didn't try to return the charger or see if they would honor the warranty past the warranty date but still i don't think dropping a iPhone charger on the floor shouldn't make the usb part on the charger split open like a banana... Still i had awesome customer service when i did go in. Will go back and explain my problem and see if i get a discount of some sort. If not thats life :) read more

I took in my sons iPad AIR because it wasn't charging.The gentlemen took the iPad from my hands and promptly walked over to his tech guy and noticed one of the prolongs was a bit down and perhaps not making contact with the charging cable.. I can't say enough good things about this place. They charge $5 for a diagnostic fee, but so what? Their repair rates are half of what I paid in San Bernardino. I have used this company 4 times to fix phones. 3 times, they were fixed with no problems, the fourth was an irreparable phone and it cost me $5 for them to look at it. I have used this location many times to replace my phones and my fiancés screen. I've maybe spent over $500 on screens here. They have good customer service....... But shitty techs and replacement parts. I paid $240 for a Samsung Galaxy note 5 screen... $240 and the day I got it glue was all over the side. I ignored it because it's not that big of a deal. I don't think they understand the meaning of a little goes a long way. Now the screen is falling out and I am a plumber and HVAC tech and I work 55+ hours a week. Everytime I go on my free time to have them fix it they have some bull shit excuse and say "we will fix it because we care" no I paid over $200 for a screen. I expect it to be flawless. Half the screen doesn't work, and it has to be pressed very hard in certain times. I have replaced my 6+ screen around 3 times there and everytime I get it back the screen lags and touches where ever it wants. I don't have time to complain and go back to get it fixed and when I do go to have it services as they say they will I get some BS excuse by the rude individual I believe named Edgar. I will return soon but if they have another excuse on why they can't fix there mistake that day I will Persue legal actions which I've looked into. To shorten this. Do not go here for service there techs are mediocre and are back yard techs not professionals. Do not trust them with replacements you WILL have issues. read more

They said they'd fix my phone screen for $100 and that it would be done in less than a hour. I came back an hour and a half later and they said that they were not done and that I needed to pay an additional $15 to completely fix it. Had to sit and wait for them and fix it for awhile. Then 4 days later my phone screen starts not working again. So I bring it in and the manager said it was not covered by the warranty because it was "damaged," but there is no mark on it and I had not dropped it or got water on it or anything. So they told me I had to pay $100 more dollars to fix it, and that's when I left and got it fixed in the mall for cheaper. The manager is a cheapo ripoff jerk. Yes all three of those at once. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place was recommended by someone that works at at&t, so I thought I would try them out. I took my water damaged iphone 4 in for repairs. With confidence they said they could fix it and it should take 3-4 business days. After a week or so, they said it would be another 2 days. Every time I called they kept putting it off. Exactly one month from the time I dropped it off, they told me it was fixed. They said they had to replace a board and it would cost $100. I paid it because I just wanted my phone back. I then took it to at&t to get a new sim card. We tried 2 different sim cards and the phone would not read them. Finally the 3rd one was read, but after a minute, it get a No sim card installed error. The person from at&t said I should bring it back to city talk. When I did the guy just banged my phone around, kept removing and installing the sim card, until it finally read it. He said it should be fine. When I got home all I was getting was no sim card read. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!! read more

I was extremely disappointed with City Talk. They told us they could fix my cell phone's problem within hours and not only did they keep my phone for almost a week but they weren't able to fix the problem and charged us $5 just for trying. Meaning, I had to drive there, wait 40 minutes to drop my phone off because of another customer that was there waiting, then wait almost a week to get my broken phone back after I paid them money to not fix it and now I have to do what I guess I should've done in the beginning which is go buy a new phone. While I was there I overhead City Talk on the phone with another customer that they apparently couldn't help but charged money for trying as well. Stay away!! read more

This place has very good pricing on there repairs but are not hat very good at it. Went last week to drop of my iPhone 5 to get the power button and screen fixed because it was cracked. I was told it would be ready I'm 4 hours so I was like yea that's cool went to pick it up everything went smooth as soon I got home the phone started to hear of for no reason even when screen was off then looked at the camera and all it showed was black front and back so I l went back and they told me they need to check and see what's wrongs and said another 4 hours like are you serious I paid you to fix a problem but you just gave me another so I left it 4 hours later I pick it up and it works the next day the power button gives up doesn't work anymore. At this pint I just wanna shoot myself I take it back and they told me well maybe something loose from when we opened it leave it for about 4 hours and we'll fix it.
