TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Who is the manger here? Because they definitely need to be given the boot for hiring lazy, rude, and clueless employees to run the store. Cost & Management 1/5 First off, Gamestop is traditionally known to rip off customers with inflated prices on games, pops, action figures, pins etc. with that being said, you would think they would have the decency to hire employees that finesse you before you make a $300+ purchase here. This is where I draw the line with management, either hire employees that are kind or raise your wages so that you are selective with your employees. Also, drop your prices. I could write a 25 page paper on how you jack up prices and rob people via trade ins. Gamestop is so incredibly cheap that they don't have baskets or bags that you can put your stuff in while you look around the store (unless it's just this particular location). So if you plan on buying items, plan on taking your personal entourage with you to help you carry your stuff around the store because the employees here won't let you leave stuff on the back counter while you shop. Customer Service 0/5 I went here on Thursday March 30th @7pm and was rudely greeted by a kid looking employee behind the front desk. Initially my husband and I stopped to browse but we saw items that we liked. So naturally we looked at stuff and long behold, we had 10 Pops and I had 7 large pins. I asked the employee if they had any baskets because pop boxes are bulky and we had 10 of them and the employee informed me that they didn't have any baskets or bags. So I told my husband and we went back to the employee to ask if he could hold our stuff behind him on the counter while we finished shopping in the store. The employee told us that he could not do that unless we were willing to pay for the items. I informed the employee that yes, we will pay for the items we just want to set them somewhere while we continue looking at stuff in the store. He then said he could not because we didn't buy the items. So I asked him if he could ring up the items/I pay for them so he could hold them in the back counter so we can finishing shopping. So the employee agreed to ring them up for us which he did, and he set them aside. The whole while he stared at us looking incredibly bothered that he had to physically scan items and set them on the counter for us. We ended up grabbing a couple more items and paying because the glare he was giving us was enough to melt Antarctica. You would think that a customer who was rung up for $400.00+ in items wouldn't be subjected to unnecessary glares from someone that is working their shift. In between death glares, he managed to also be rude to customers asking basic questions about items. This is credibility bad customer service which reflects management here. Like I stated earlier, the manager here needs to be replaced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here, especially if you plan on spending a large amount of money. There are far better places than this place. Went in and my partner bought some Pokémon cards. We went into the car to opened them and they were empty. He walked back inside to let them know they ended up offering a refund but it was a refund gone wrong. They ended up telling him that he owed $1.40 for the return. He initially paid $21ish and they were refunded him $19 ish which explains where that $1.40 charge came from because they didn't fully credit his amount back. It was literally a back-and-forth situation and supervisor had to be involved and even he did not know how to solve the problem and tried getting my partner to pay the amount stated. Out of frustration, my partner just took the $19 credit did not pay the charge they stated he owed and left because they obviously did not know what they were doing. read more

I went in on September 23, 2020 around 1pm. There was a tall mid aged white male. I went in to buy a new charging cable for my ps4. As I went in, the mans face seemed sour and annoyed. I asked if he could help me get the cable and he pretended to not understand me. Once at the register, he seemed uninterested, angry, and rushed. I was in a good mood when I came in. I was also with my two sisters and they both noticed his attitude. He talked to me in a condescending manner as he was trying to explain the power up rewards card. I cut him off and told him I was uninterested. I was considering renewing but his sour attitude just put a sour taste in my mouth. I was really frustrated with the experience. This is old never had the time but I do now. Game stop lied and stole 75 dollars from me. They claimed I didn't make a payment which is a lie after admitting I made a payment. They said they would compensate me but refused a refund. I never got a call back they didn't compensate me. They didn't refund me had to dispute with PayPal after a month. Just encountered one of the most enthusiastic employees at GameStop. I asked the guy "do these headsets work on all consoles?" His response was "I think so" without moving from his chair. He's just chilling in front of the computer wearing a sweater. I didn't see a name tag or any work shirt on him. Honestly, I questioned whether he worked there. When it came time to pay we had a gift card and he goes "swipe it" of course it didn't work until he typed it in and punched in the code. He just seemed like he has no interest in being there.
