Got here at 9:35 and store was closed. Online hours say open at 9:30 and in person hours posted on the door say 9:35. I understand that maybe the staff was running behind on opening the store a couple of minutes however waited by the door until 10:00 and store was not yet open. Employee was on face time inside the store blowing up balloons. I could hear her conversation through the glass door and still the employee was not turning on lights or making any obvious effort into opening the store. I had to leave at 10:15 after waiting half an hour and store was not yet open. I did not purchase any of my items and had to leave empty handed after waiting 30 minutes and making a 29 minute drive. Management needs to do better at training their employees responsibly read more

I was nearby and wanted to come to this five below in search of Christmas pajamas, they didn't have many in my size though. They had tons of toys and tees though which are perfect for Christmas. We used the self checkout and this lady was behind us watching our every single move, which made me very uncomfortable, she told me that I wasn't allowed to take the hangers so as soon as I was about to hang it on the hooks she snatches it away so fast which was very rude tbh. Literally couldn't believe the store has restrooms for public use. And the associate had the audacity to tell my 10 year old it wasn't for public use. This just tells me that management does not prioritize scheduling to ensure that the restrooms are cleaned and looked after. Instead customers that may need to use the restroom are told it's not for public use. It doesn't take a contractor to tell that the restrooms were clearly built for customers. Absolutely disappointed in the staff at this location for denying entry. From now on I will be driving to the La Verne location and refuse to visit this location again. Absolutely one of the worst Five below gone to. In general I spend over 100$ because I find lots of good things. But a this one all the staff is super rude. They are on you like you going to steal. The restroom is closed according to them they're always closed . There's hardly anything on shelves or pegs . It almost feels like Walmart when you're paying they are telling you to print the receipt with a nasty attitude . It some lady with brown curl hair. So rude. Not a please or if you need help. Attitude is awful and not welcoming. They ALL make you feel uncomfortable. I was there between 8pm -8:30pm on 12/17 .I was ready to go because of the whole vibe was just bad. Even my husband felt wrong. If it were up to me. I would give no stars. Never have I ever had such a bad experience at one of my favorite stores like this one. I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. My kids love this store. We've been in here several times and have always walked out with something. The store is really clean and everything is in place. The staff is very friendly and always greets you. Check out is quick with minimal wait. The staff is really good about heading to the register as soon as they see you walk that way. In my opinion it's more like a $5 store only. 90% of the stuff in there is $5 and the other 10% is below. Tip: Don't buy the big headphones here. My wife came in here with a broken charger. And this woman refused to replace it for her and on top of that was extremely rude. Personally I love 5 below because they have a great return policy and good products. I will never come here at this location again. Today is Friday, 3:35 pm. Who ever the woman is working register was extremely rude. My sister had to take her baby to the restroom and she refused to open the restroom for her. It takes a quick second to put in the code. We were customers at this store, & we got disrespected. I asked her kindly if she can just have the code so she can go in really fast,& she answered with a rude response, "No. because there would be no point in having a code" we were the only people in line, so I don't understand why she said she couldn't go back there to open the door that would've took 5 seconds. This place is open again but just some items in the outside of the store and the rest you have to ask the associates for. I understand they need to be limiting people due to COVID 19 but they only have one employee cashing people out and they had 3 or 4 other associates just talking and doing nothing. Normally I love five below but this time it wasn't the best. Most likely i wont come back until more restrictions are lifted. They have too many customers outside and not social distancing.
