NO RETURN RECEIPT!!!! NO REFUND I went to return items on 11/2/2024, the sale rep (maybe her name is Pat) told me that company new policy: don't print out return receipt to save the environment and ask me to wait for email confirmation. I left and felt something wrong. I came back to ask her for receipts again, she said she cannot print out the receipt, and BBW is big company, so no worries. Until now 11/26/2024, no refund is issued. Per her advice to call customer service, but they can't help. Be careful and do not leave without return receipt like myself :( attached receipt is for the reward item at the store with date and time. read more

What a disappointing company. I never buy from a B&BW and I thought I'd give it a try. What a mistake! I bought some three wick candles on sale $9.99 (at their website). I received a confirmation email of what I bought. A day later a received another detailed email expressing that my items "had shipped" and were on their way and it itemized my order. A day further along (This morning) I received another email letting me know that "they" cannot fill my entire (8 candles) order due to demand. You have a computer system? You should know what you have in stock prior to accepting my order? Do you have "AI" technology? You had 11 months to plan, prepare and make candles. But in two hours you run out? Are you an airline and you over-book candles? OH! but I get 50% off my next delivery charge on my next online order! Because I'm such a valued customer. Who shops at this place, and how are they still in business. People you control everything with the dollars you spend. Go somewhere else or these companies will continue to treat you poorly! I know from people that used to work at this company (and are friends) that this happens all the time, so I'm not surprised. Just disappointed! Emma at the cashwrap was amazing! She was super helpful and really great a upselling. She was also able to help multiple customers so the wait in line was super fast. I did have an issue because I was told by the front worker that I could combine my coupons, but then was told I couldn't when I came to the cashwrap. Emma did check to see if I we could try but she was denied. I appreciated her trying to help. In the end she was able to suggest a solution and I got more items with separate transactions so I could use my coupons before they expired. Another thing was that the manager (I'm assuming) is never friendly or helpful. Her name is Nicole and she has shorter blonde hair. Emma was in the middle of helping me and another customer, and Nicole was adding on more tasks to Emma's plate. Nicole had cut off the whole interaction that I and the other customer were having with Emma. I worked retail for years and there's a time and place to speak to your employees. Emma definitely needs to be promoted or swooped up by another retailer because she's amazing. My date of visit was Sept 26th around 1:10pm. read more

As always great customer service. This bath and body works is located on the second floor of the mall. You can enter through the food court entrance of entrance of the canyon grill. It's between Aeropostale and Sephora. They have a limit of 15 customers at a time in the store. They hand you hand sanitizer as you're in like and you grab a bag to start shopping! I've never had a negative experience at a bath and body works. All associates are approachable and have great customer service. read more

These are by far the best 3-wick candles out there. They literally do there job... they fragrance your home. There are allot of candle makers out there but don't waste your time nor money. These are well worth the price. Wait for the big sale in December and stock up. You will not regret it!!! The hand soaps smell amazing as well and also fragrance the room (kitchen, restroom, etc). Love, love, love there 3 wick candles. Don't waste your money on the single wick candies. Not sure why these don't scent very well. read more

Who doesn't love walking into a store that smells this good? ALL. THE. TIME. The people here are always so nice. And it's not the creepy, fakey-smiley kind of nice you get at other stores. The girls here really seem to enjoy their job, and are always eager to help and give recommendations. Which you probably will need. I come here most often when the seasons change, as this is one of the few places that still celebrates the changing of the seasons by having a new line of appropriate scents and products at the turn of each one. They carry some of the highest quality soaps, body washes, hand & body lotions, body sprays, perfume, facial care, hand sanitizers, room sprays, scented oils, scented candles, and Lord knows what else; if it's meant to smell and it smells good, they probably carry it. And what I love is that if you've been to this store at least once, you probably receive their coupons, which means you can get some awesome deals on a lot of stuff. Sometimes, I'll walk into this store with a single coupon, and walk out with something free, without having spent a penny. It's a great store for all occasions but the best time of year to shop here is during the Holidays. Stopped buy to buy a birthday gift and a cashier was helping a customer. However, the customer took a long time and the line started growing. But no one ever came up to help the cashier or she didn't have a head set to ask for help. I worked at a BBW and if the line started getting long, we would call back up to cashier or the managers would jump on with our headsets. I think I overheard a lady telling the cashier if anyone else can help when I left. I'm not sure if this is the same girl that the other reviewer mentioned but I was annoyed at that having work at a BBW before. Maybe they were short handed or the girl forgot to put her headsets on or there weren't enough headsets. I even saw two ladies talking when I left. This store needs to do better of being situationally aware and for someone to jump on if the line gets long. read more

I understand that they are just being safe and caucus, but since they are limiting how many people go in at a time and there are people waiting to get in, they need to have a time limit on how long they can shop. The line can get really long and people should not be standing in line for hours! Not good business strategy. read more

Terrible customer service. I waited in line for a while then it was my turn she did not greet. I said hello can I please have a gift card for $. She took my money and gave me a gift card and said wait for the receipt. She asked her co worker to verify the money that was sitting on the back counter, I looked at her and said I am on my lunch can I please have my receipt, she threw all the money in the cash drawer and closed it then printed the receipt. I went back after ten minutes because I wanted to add more money to the gift card and another associate helped me and said can't buy a gift card with a gift card. She asked her co worker that was the first associate that helped me if they can purchase a gift card with a gift card and she shook her head no. This location of BBW is a good one for sure! Actually, there are two inside Montclair Plaza, which makes it so easy to find what you're looking for...if they don't have it in one, they're bound to have it in the other store. Staff member Katrina is a doll. She is very attentive, and remembers my favorite types of fragrances. Both stores are generally easy to get in and out of, as they have enough employees to take care of all the customers. Like all BBW stores, if you aren't 100% thrilled with your choice, bring it back with the receipt for either a refund or an exchange. I've done this about 4 times in the last year, and each time, they made sure I was completely happy before I left the store. This is what customer service is all about. read more

There are two... Yes two of these stores in the Montclair Mall. This is the one on the second floor next to the food court. It was so empty that only one girl was working the whole store. She said hi to me at the front of the store then found me in the middle of the store to ask me what I was looking for and to suggest a few things and then ran to the back of the store to ring me up. Had a super fugly experience with Bath and Body Works on line idiots which necessitated my having to go to a store. Although I arrived in a funky and desperate mood, the store manager turned me around by taking my on line order printout and basically did my shopping for me. Then she gave me not only the online discount from cyber Monday but additional discounts as well. I have loved Bath & Body Works for years, but the employees at this location (at least the one on the lower level of the mall), are so helpful and sweet.
