As usual we procrastinated way too long and came to Office Depot with a small, yet urgent print job. We need same day or next morning. We meet Kinney in the print department and he was nothing less than amazing. He helped us choose the proper paper, and created a proof before the job was done. He was so slammed with work that he was unable to do it same day. But promised, to have it ready by 9:00am the next day. When we showed up at 9:02, he was there with a smiling face. 5 Stars for the immaculate store & stock. Get your Christmas gifts here. This store is conveniently located by the S. Grove 60 Freeway. My unpleasant experience was going in for a few copies (10) . I get in line & I'm told wrong line for copies. They now gave a Self Serve copy machines but only 2 and people hoarding like it's their home office. Anyway it's time consuming from getting in line to use, entering your personal information to plastic credit options, so if you're in a hurry you'll be Late getting your copies. Black ink was washy not dark enough to to Fax, I guess I got the left overs. If you choose color ink expect to pay more. At almost $.48 for each copie I was not impressed. Overall I didn't like that the cashier was available but I had to "Work" Crazy new employee less business. read more

This Office Depot is run by incompetent, lazy college students. I went here on 5/18/24, and the male employee working around 9am that day never gave me back my ID when he was doing an ID check for one of my purchases. When I realized around 3pm that I never got my ID back, I called Office Depot and was told by a female employee that there was no ID turned in, and that there was no ID in the lost and found. I was skeptical about that as I was very certain my ID had to be at Office Depot. At the same time, my friend was hoping to purchase $200 visa gift cards, and when asking if Office Depot had that in stock, they said they were out. I personally didn't believe the employee, so I drove to Office Depot myself to see if my ID was there, and if they had anymore visa gift cards. After driving there, we indeed saw 6 $200 visa gift cards. We also asked the employee again about my ID, which they had told me again, was not there. That employee even told me that he checked the security tapes which "suggested" that the 9am employee gave me back my ID. When I asked specific questions about that video footage, that employee couldn't answer those questions, and he said the footage was too blurry to tell what happen after the employee gave me back my ID. I had to ask that employee 4 times and told him to just check all the cash registers him, and of course when he did that, he found my ID. All in all, if you ask the the employees anything here, don't believe them and check yourself. read more

Came in to have some important documents printed to be mailed out and saw they had a first class mailing service, so I decided to just mail it through since it would be convenient. But I should've of known it would be a disaster seeing as how the front desk girl didn't really know what she was doing. My mail was lost and misplaced. These were important documents that had information about my newborn child. And it was just misplaced. They need to train their employees a lot better. read more

I went in this morning and was quickly greeted with a smile, and asked if I needed help. The young man pointed me in the right direction. When I was looking at the product, I couldn't find what I was looking for then a young woman approached me and asked if she could help. When I was checking out, another young woman assisted me with a smile. When I said thank you, she said you're welcome not no worries! All 3 young workers were professional and actually was a breath of fresh air! I complimented the guy on my way out! Great service from young adults is hard to find! Came to print and only one self service printer is available and of course 20 people waiting to use the only machine. They wouldn't print my ONE paper behind the counter cause it's a $5 minimum. How freaking stupid is that!?! It's an inconvenience that YOUR COMPANY hasn't got the other self service machine fixed in over 2 weeks! You should be making exceptions for behind the counter printing. That's would a good business would be doing. I see why this store already has bad reviews. Lazy employees. Worst service ever!!! There was 3 workers "working" and only one worker actually working her name was Ysabel the rest of the workers playing around. If you bring your used printer ink cartridges, you get two dollars off each used cartridge you bring in which goes toward your bill (up to 10 cartridges allowed per month). This is the best Office Depot I've been to. Customer service here is always top level. The staff is always nice and courteous. My fiancé had major surgery and the manager RUBY was able to assist me in purchasing a chair that was sold out in a time of need. I really appreciate her and putting the customer first. This place is awesome, I always find really cool stuff that I didn't even know I was looking for such as see-through backpack (cause who doesn't need that) and various other office supplies that make my home office look spiff nifty. Recently got some pens, sturdy shipping packing bags (which I couldn't find anywhere but here) folders and various other accouterments for my business and they were all perfect for what I needed. Customer Reps are super friendly and actually know what they are talking about which is refreshing. Definitely will be going back, eyeballing this nice case for my ipad. The Census Bureau sent me here to get my fingerprints to start working. I come in early thinking I could leave early to get in with my day. My appointment was 4:40 pm, I arrived around 3:30pm. I was told to walk around until my appointment so I asked to speak to a manager so I could be seen quicker. I waited in the back and Nick came back about 10 minutes later. He said I had to wait because they do fingerprints every 10 mins. I said there's no one here, the store was practically empty. After 1 lady showed up about 20 minutes late to her appointment and he did her fingerprints. I realized I was being discriminated against and my race was the real issue. I spoke to George and he said with the HD rep on the phone that they have a store to run! It was completely empty! Then both of them came over to assist 1 lady on a printer which at this point I decided to take pictures. I called HD's main number. They supposedly filed a complaint and I have been waiting for a phone call from corporate.. Both George and Nick were completely unprofessional and rude. I don't believe the way I was talked to or treated just because of my skin color. This is not fair. Can someone reach out to me? I need to contact someone to help me. Thank you all! The worst customer service. Unbelievable when you try to ask where an order is placed almost a month ago. Long story short I dealt with 2 very unfortunate individuals that sadly represent Office Depot. My order was lost and that's fine things happen, just resend the items which you carry in stock all the time the items are nothing special. I wasted 30 minutes half that time on hold for them to tell me they will gladly resend the order but want payment. OK now let's think hmmm Why am I going to pay for items I have already paid for! I am completely baffled will never order from this company ever again because I had my limit of dealing with stupid for the day and I am the nicest person ever a very understanding person so for me to go here and write this speaks for itself. Went in to make copies, scan and email documents. There were some of the usual challenges one experiences with electronics, ink, etc. Amal, was very patient with me and walked me through all my options and went out of her way to help. After understanding my options & conversation, I returned home to pick up some missing items before coming back to the store. Upon returning, Alondra picked up where Amal had left off. She was kind, patient and very helpful. Alondra and Amal assisted me with all my printing/communication needs and simplified what i needed to do all while helping other customers at the same time. Both Amal and Alondra were patient, kind, professional, and maintained a sincere positive and happy attitude during my experience. Kudos to Office Depot for employing these two individuals. Drove from Rancho Cucamonga to Ontario to pick up a desk and chair. Mgr said they can only hold till today at 600 so we rushed over there to get it. Then asked Jose for help and had an attitude cuz he had to physically lift something. Bad customer service considering I was buying something. Jorge the manager is rude and unprofessional. Poor listener on top of it. When I explained my complaints all he could respond is "Why do you have to be that way". I gsve the store a one star rating because of Jorge and look what I get . . . from Jorge . . . a boilerplate email. "Dear Valued Customer" "Thank you for sharing your recent experience at our store. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and we're very sorry you were unhappy with your experience. You indicated that you were unsatisfied with your  experience. We will take your comments into consideration to make changes to improve our store experience." How "sincere". I called today and (unfortunately) Jorge answered. I advised Jorge there was another employee I briefly needed to speak to - Jorge refuses to let his employees mult-task between customers. When I explained to Jorge that multi-tasking is a business industry standard he hung up on me. When Jorge is the problem who fixes him? I spend way too much time here! But Jorge is the best store manager and soo incredibly helpful. He really has a great group of people working for him. Everyone is always available for any questions you might have. If they aren't available to assist you right away they find someone for you or come find you right after assisting their last costumer. When I wasn't here for work, while I was in school they were one of the most helpful sources for getting my projects completed. I tried other printing places and no one was nearly as helpful or nice as these guys. read more

The copy and print department is a nightmare. There were only 2 people working there. I came here on my lunch break to print 84 pages and they were slammed. She told me it was going to take 30 minutes to have it printed and cut so I just stayed and waited. After 35 minutes, I got back in line and it was taking forever because at that point there was only one person there. I found someone outside of the department to grab my copies so I can pay for them and leave. He found the copies and they weren't cut yet! They then proceeded to hand cut them one by one which was going to take FOREVER. It's really not their fault that they are understaffed or that their cutting machine wasn't working well. It would have been nice to know that in advance or have someone let me know it's going to take longer than expected. Everyone taking care of my order was really nice and apologetic but someone needs to do something to make sure this doesn't happen again. Perhaps I am just spoiled by other Office Depot's but if this was my first experience with Office Depot, I would never support them again. read more
