Office supply store. Mixed feelings about Staples now. Throughout the years I feel like the stock and variety are less and less. There's way more product online but not shown in the store. So it's hard to me to look at paper or office supplies without touching them or getting their dimension. They do offer shipping and free returns but maybe it's because I'm old school and want to physically see and touch before I buy. New Pros: 1. Amazon returns processed here. You get your money credit right away plus you get a staples coupon as well 2. Passport photos taken here 3. Processing of TSA pre check can be applied here which is pretty convenient. 4. Electronic recycling available. Plus you can get bonus points for credits to use later on. Cons: 1. Less product online the floor 2. Items displays don't match the price tags. So you have to be ready to take a photo and show the staff when you check out. 3. Hard to find available staff to help you on the floor. Customer service went from 0-2! This experience is regarding our visit on Sept 1, 2025. I was helping my Mom run errands and she needed to stop by here at Staples to use their print shop because my brother needed posters uploaded from his camera. We usually frequent the location in Rancho but we were in the area and we used to live around the corner so we came here. I walked my Mom to the print counter and seen 3 female employees ready to help her so I told her I was going to split up and take a look around the store while she handled my brothers posters. I circled back and met back up with my Mom and she seemed bothered and upset? I asked her what happened and she told me one of the staff members was completely rude to her and didn't want to help? My Mother had given her the camera and asked her to help with making some prints. The female employee took a look at the camera without any effort and told my Mom they couldn't provide services because the camera didn't have a USB? My Mom told her she never had issues at their Rancho Cucamonga location and the female told her to either take it back there or to come back another day and gave the camera back to my Mom? My Mom isn't camera savvy so I took a look and within a second I was able to pop the Memory Card out, so what was this employee's issue? So we come back and she's helping another customer but there were 2 other available employees. The first female employee (black hair, glasses, tattoos, & of course no name tag) gave us dirty looks and an annoyed vibe once she seen my Mom come back. Another female employee named Terese approached us and asked if we needed help. She was friendly and more welcoming than the first. As she was helping us the rude employee finished up with her customer and didn't make eye contact but was obviously annoyed we came back. The rude employee walked behind Terese & said "I told her we couldn't help her" with an attitude, referring to my Mom. How unprofessional and just flat out disgusting behavior. We were right there we can obviously hear her. Terese asked us if we had a USB card and my Mom held out our memory card and the look of humiliation on that rude employees face spoke a million words. Clearly her ego was bruised because she, without saying anything marches back to us and SNATCHES the memory card out of my Mom's hand and marches back to their computer upset. No eye contact, just grunting and displaying unprofessional non accountability. Terese helped us the rest of our visit and was pleasant to work with. It took a lot out of me to keep calm given she was being disrespectful to my Mother. We were both really upset with her behavior. After we finished, we stayed in the parking lot and immediately called and asked for a supervisor. We had the pleasure of speaking to Andrea who was amazing and heard us out and told us that she will be speaking to the ladies right after and to let Terese know that she did an amazing job. As to the rude employee, if you're not happy with your job either find another one that doesn't involve interaction with people or simply don't take it out on customers. I went in to get some printing done. I had problems trying to get it done on line because of my lack of technology skills. But Dulce at the print desk was so kind to help me figure out how I could get my print request done. And Mohamed on the floor helped me find and figure out what I needed to download my files for printing. So with those 2 team members, I must say I was super impressed by how much they cared to help. I have enjoyed shopping at Staples from time to time especially when I needed crafts items or stationary items. I would shop Staples' sales as such. They also provide printing services here. This is another long overdue review from This local Staples closest to me in the City of Chino, CA. Last trip I shopped here I bought the following items: a set of Winnie the Pooh coloring pencils, a box of permanent markers, snowman post it's and a piece of Crayola notepad as shown from pics down below along with this review. I dropped an item off for an Amazon return, he refuses to give me a paper receipt and the return was never processed by the employee. He appeared to scan QR code but he did not submit the item to Amazon. I called Staples and they said there was nothing they could do and referred me to Amazon. I called Amazon and they said the employee did not process the return. Beware -I will no longer be taking my Amazon returns to Staples or any location that refuses to give me a paper receipt to confirm that they accepted to items. read more

Here at Staples to do an Amazon return. They use the staff in printing services and are not staffed sufficiently to handle Amazon returns volumes. They do give you a $10 off $30 or more coupon which is cool but the list of exclusions is long and very general. So every item I was planning to buy was excluded! Otherwise this Staples is well stocked, clean, and has enough staff to answer questions with a relatively short checkout line. So overall a two star experience read more

A female from the marketing team that called me at 10:58am, This call lasted 35 seconds. I was still in the middle of talking and she kept talking over me then hung up on me! I was asking her what time will this location close. She replies "UHHHHHH NINNNNNNEEEEEEEE" I ignored her rude remark and I was in the middle of saying "ok, I'll be there later today but it'll....." Then she unprofessionally cuts me off and starts talking over me--not letting me finish talking--and she said, "you can pick it up anytime you want. Tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year! Whenever you want!!! Have a good day bye now!" And abruptly hangs up the phone. What kind of training is this? What kind of management leader tolerates this kind of service. Conversation All in 35 seconds.!Extremely rude and unprofessional. I called back immediately at 10:59am after that marketing person hung up on me and spoke with an associate (different person because the voices weren't the same). She was helpful and let her know what transpired. My question was if I could have my spouse pick up my order ($110+) since I work at the hospital and may be a little late since I needed this that day (July 3rd). I let her know that the rude female from marketing was out-of-line to make such a sarcastic comment about picking up my order "next week, next month, next year, whenever you want!" I came in the pick it up around 7-7:30pm. I stood in a line with no one in it... two people were in the print/marketing area. No acknowledgment, no greeting. This lady completely ignored me and the guy only helped me after I was standing there after a few minutes. For barely anyone being in the store when I came in and not take a few seconds to acknowledge a paying customer, this location was horrible. I asked the guy that helped me in the print/marketing area for the manager--he said the manager was gone for the today and won't return until next month because of vacation. Staff is straight forward and friendly. They know exactly where everything is and what you needed. I came in and the person in the front helped me with getting supplies I needed for my office. They definitely go above and beyond what their job description says. I will be shopping more at this Staples whenever I need more office supplies. Keep up the great work! The store itself is kept very well and it is very clean. I haven't found anything wrong with the place. Yesterday my brother and I came in and had to get some things laminated. Recently stopped to have a package dropped for a UPS shipment. Clerk greeted and ask what he can do. I informed him here for a UPS shipment. He started to type on the keyboard then turns it over for me. He informed to fill out the my shipping order. I asked him is this a new process since I had shipped one 2 weeks ago and the clerk did all the order process. He said yes this is a new policy. I gave him the info for my shipment so he began to fill it out. As he began to fill it out, seems like he wasn't doing it right. So he then told me again to fill out the enter work order form. I left and decided to go to a UPS store down the street. I'm not going to mention the clerks name and this may seem to be petty. Went in today to do an Amazon return. I was immediately confronted and yelled at by an employee because I had my puppy with me. He rudely asked if I had seen a sign that said service dogs only. He went on to ask if my dog was a service dog. I did not reply because I was in shock at being confronted and yelled at. He once again asked me very rudely if I had seen the sign. I replied that I had not and asked him are you asking me to leave. He responded if it is not a service dog, he shouldn't be in here. Let me clarify something , I have brought this dog with me on several occasions into the store. The employees have seen me and never pointed out that there was a policy or sign advertising service dogs only. Additionally, when I went to try and see where this sign is, it is located at the bottom of a door that slides out of the way as you approach it. How can anyone see it? Additionally, the confrontational manner was uncalled for. As previously stated, I frequently patronize this store, but no longer. The appropriate way to let someone know they are violating a new rule would have been to say, ma'am I'm not sure if you noticed we have a new sign that indicates that only service dogs are allowed in store. Could you please make note of this and leave your animal at home the next time. I would have gladly apologized and said of course, no problem. Instead I am sitting here outraged at being confronted and yelled at for something I have unknowingly done. This store has lost a customer as a result. read more

Very good store. I have bought my chairs from them and some office supplies. The chair was pretty hard to put together, so they actually had me bring it into the store and someone put it together. I found that to be very good customer support ! Wanted to add they have been great during Covid. Kimmy handled all my photocopy needs, close to 100 pages with notes and stapled portions perfectly. Noah is very nice but the girl with black hair and tattoos is the rudest person I've ever met at a store. I brought in a return and my essential oil leaked a little bit on the way and got on some of the stuff and instead of being professional about it she said "this is disgusting I'm going to go take my lunch" "this is gross" and "I wouldn't have taken that return if I were you" when I find out her name I'm including it in the review. It's not like I purposely spilled something in the bag it didn't spill til I was in the car. Very disrespectful. I already felt bad about it leaking and she just had to make those comments. This review is for PRINTING SERVICES. I haven't bought anything else from Staples to give an opinion on that. I went to this Staples 2 times to get my posters for my apartment mounted on foam boards. The girls at the print station were super helpful and were fully transparent about the risks of mounting. They gave me a quote beforehand and time frame to finish. I am super happy with how my posters turned out!! (See attached pics) They exceeded my expectations. I got a text message when they were done, and in the same day I dropped them off. I flattened out the posters with textbooks afterwards. I would highly recommend their services to others! read more

This review is long overdue for Staples here in Chino Hills. Earlier today I came in for a lawn sign for our son's upcoming graduation party. Upon entering I was greeted with the customary "Welcome To Staples" I have been here at least 50 times over the the years and have never left the store disappointed. Today I was assisted by Sirena in the Sign and Business Card Department. I came in not knowing anything about what I wanted, design's, sizes, etc. Sirena and her Manager were extremely helpful putting my mind at ease. They walked my through the entire process which only took approximately 20 minutes. The overall Customer Service was phenomenal to say the least. I have used this department in the past and service has been nothing short of excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend all my family and friends to this location. 3.5-4 stars Since all the Staples close to me have closed down, this location was one of the two locations for me to visit to return an office task chair. Customer service was good when I needed to return the chair, no complaints here. I hadn't even opened the box to assemble, but it was delivered damaged with the metal posts sticking out from the box. This Staples is located at the other end of the plaza, from Ross. This plaza has undergone a few changes, with stores closing and opening but a few original stores have remained. The store is a bit on the smaller side in terms of office supplies, as compared to the former Staples location that I would frequent in Walnut (Grand and Valley, now an Aldi). There is always a "discount" area in the back of the store if you are looking for some decent deals. I love Staples but with this location so far from me, I now have resorted to purchasing items online from the Staples website than in-store. Unless you need a certain item right away, Staples would be the place to go. There is plenty of parking in front of the store. read more

I never thought I would write a review for a Staples but my visit today really upset me. I came here to look for a business padfolio and when I found them they were blocked off by towers of plastic crates full of other inventory. I looked around to find help but I couldn't find a single person to help me. I ended up putting down my bag and lifting the plastic crates off one by one to the side just so I could see the labels and the selection. After having a difficult time reaching the portfolios on the shelves I just left. Of course no one ever checked on me either even though I'm sure a staff member passed me a couple times. At least I kindly stacked the crates nicely to the side for them so other customers don't trip over them. It's like they don't want to sell their products by hiding them behind huge bins. read more

I ordered business card for same-day pick-up. After I placed the order, I called to see if there is anything they can do to expedite or give me an estimate of when my order will be ready. The girl mentioned that there was 10 orders ahead of mine and it'll take probably by the end of the day. I was okay with that, however, I never received an email to pick up my business cards which I needed the SAME DAY. I checked the next day to see that it was still in progress. I'm not paying for a service that promised same day pick up and still do not have my order ready the next day. I received no call to let me know that it is being delayed. On the better side, the cards that I ordered from nextdayflyer is coming a day early. IF you desperately need printing for the same day. Don't rely on this Staples. It's not promising. read more

Bait and Switch Tactics Tried to purchase a printer online, was told it was in stock and able to be delivered to me on September 1. Went through the checkout process, sent in my order and was told it was sold out for delivery, was still available for in-store pickup on September 1, and was offered a second printer as an option... for more than double the price. Switched to in-store pickup, had to re-enter all of my card information, completed the forms and placed order, and was told it was sold out. Again, offered the option to purchase a different printer for more than double the price. I did not expect a national chain store to resort to unethical sales tactics. I'll see if Office Depot, Best Buy, or Walmart wants my business instead. read more
