She was doing nothing standing around just watching all the cashiers and when she actually needed to help with a transaction she was so bothered with the dumbest rude attitude. I love this TJ Maxx! They always have such great deals and such a great stock of items. You for sure have to time it right. I come randomly and find really good beauty products, home items and dog goodies. The staff has always been super friendly and the inside is clean. Plenty of parking outside and I love the location being convenient as well as lots of stores to check out after coming here. read more

Horrible service. They asked you to apply for the credit card and provide you with the temporary card number that you can use while they sending the physical card to the home. Well guess what I have the picture of the temporary card number cuz who's caring in the receipt paper around anymore. I literally just purchased at a different Tjmax and it worked just fine . And this place said no I cant use it. What a waste of my time walking around shopping for my stuffs and ended up cant even purchase it . HORRIBLE. read more

I am so disappointed in the service at this location. The employees need to be trained on the registers and should know how to type in the number of a credit card that has a chip/reader malfunction. They had also just opened and store was a mess. read more

Rude workers at jewelry. Waited 10-15 minutes for a worker to come. By the time someone came, there were other people looking at jewelry so someone else asked for help before me. Waited another 10 minutes for them to pay. When I asked for help, she pointed to where the same jewelry piece was out in the open and left right away before I could ask to see anything else. They have a much better selection of coordinates by HARLOW for work to night, they also have a good selection of jogging sets. Some nice pieces that don't look like couch covers. Good selection of purses, luggage, home goods, shoes. The prices are a little high but part of the thrill is finding a good 'red' tag. They have definitely upgraded. read more

First time dropping by this location in Upland. You can see this store from the 210 freeway. It's located at Campus exit on the 210 freeway. It is located at the colonies shopping center. Located next to Nordstrom rack, Decided to stop by to check to see what they had and had to return an item I recently purchased at the Ontario location. The staff was helpful when I was there. Overall it was plesant experience. Parking was easy to since they had a big parking lot. Is a new location so it's very clean, organized, and everything is well labeled. I didn't stay too long but will return next time to give an updated review. I will definitely be back again. read more

I came to return some beauty items ( I originally planned as gifts but bought something else instead) and let the sales associate Adrian know that they were unopened and he still opened the FULLY SEALED kits open damaging the packaging and took some of the creams out etc and opened them inspecting them throughly. He said that he was doing that bc they don't accept returns on opened stuff but HE WAS THE ONE UNSEALING the items and OPENING the contents inside. Every time i mentioned that i hadn't opened the kits he went back and inspected the kits again. He had an attitude the whole time &seemed like he was trying way too hard to find something wrong with my returns. Since he couldn't find anything wrong (no matter how hard he had tried to) I got all my items returned. read more

Located in the Colonies Crossroads Plaza off the 210 Fwy. There's plenty of parking. Store is clean. My hubby and I went shopping for more items that we'll need for our vacation. We found some Panama Jack hats that are 50 SPF to deal with the heat of the sun for a reasonable price. Hubby was happy to find the hats. Plus, we found cute toiletry bags that I didn't see at the other store nearer to us. (Not all stores have the same items.). It's dangerous shopping with my hubby because I tend to buy more with him! Note be careful of the nuts in the parking lot, just because you're walking across the street doesn't mean they won't run you over to get to that big sale, "Me me me me!!" Anyway. Found a few shorts and a Hawaiian shirt that I looked. Definitely can save a few coins here during the recession now that we're all in Hellifornia. This is a newer TJ Maxx. I remember when it opened in 2013. It's clean, the employees are very nice. The quality of items here is great. I have bought some great clothes and Jewelry here. Remember, if you don't find something great one day, always go back another day becasue they are always adding to the inventory. read more

oooohhhh, a new TJ Maxx in my area, always exciting. Not a runway location, thus only 4 stars but it is a nice store. Not too many sales or clearance sections yet as they are new, but its clean, well stocked and the staff is nice. This location is better than my closest location. It's a hit or miss regarding what you find. Oddly, they don't carry men's shoes.

I visited the TJ Maxx store located at: 1151 E 19th St, Upland, CA 91786 on 6/26/2022 and found them to be extremely unfriendly and quite frankly rude. I went the day prior and spent $270 and simply went back for one item I had forgotten. I was told 10 minutes before store closing, at 7:50pm that they were already closed. They then chased us out to the cashier at 7:55pm saying they were closed once again. I was able to complete my purchase and exit the store by 8pm. However it was very unexpected to be treated in that manner by who seemed to be the MOD. I worked for Marshall's for 5+ years and would have never been allowed to treat a customer in that manner. TJX values customer care, and today we did not receive that. I hope this message is forwarded on to the appropriate person, perhaps the district manager that can address what it means to offer customer service. It seems they didn't have any interest in having customers in their store this evening. read more

They have some of the best little finds in this store, case in point being the higher end cosmetic brands that you can find. Obviously the shade ranges are difficult to choose from, but seeing as the bottles had been previously tampered with the prices were dropped. I opened a pump bottle of bb cream that I feared was too light for my face and as I was deciding and looking in the mirror, the female employee in the jewelry section with dark hair (7/13/19 at 2:15pm) told me with an extremely judgmental look on her face not to try on the make up (that I had already placed in my cart to purchase). My point here, TJ Maxx.. you need to find a better way to get your rules accross. If you don't want people trying on the make up, PUT UP A SIGN! Or make a better policy about being able to return cosmetics if they're the wrong shade. Your employees clearly need some sensitivity training as well. read more

Shopping here is always fun. Here is a high level review of this particular location: - Some of the best Men's inventory I've seen. I just wish I could fit into those clothes. I wear an XL and they had a very small selection of clothes in my size. - Excelent variety of accessories for men. I bought some outstanding Kenneth Cole ties here. Usually $50/tie, but I bought them for $10. - The store is clean and taken care of. - Cashiers are well staffed and lines moving quickly. Downside: - You have a better chance of getting a phone call from God than finding a shopping cart. read more
