10/7/26 Another place that I missed reviewing. I do not visit this one often but today I just happened to be in the area. Nothing special, it's pretty much like any other Costco locations. It is clean, well stocked, staff are fairly friendly. Parking is not as crazy or disorganized like the one in Alhambra. I do think it has a lot to do with the clientele & city rather than the businesses itself. Space is at a premium in Alhambra & there's really just a whole lot of people in a small city that inhabits it (small space=cramped). It's just like the Sprouts in Alhambra, my very least favorite location because it's cramped and purely chaotic (again, it's the city & its people, not the business). I've been noticing how there's LESS & LESS shoppers nowadays-which I am concluding that people as whole are tightening their belts from the amazingly inflated prices of everything. Maybe it's just me but I have been noticing that I no longer have to be surrounded by a massive crowds in restaurants & markets. The sidles are wide, well stocked and there's a great selection of items to choose from. Today, I picked up tomato basil soup (2-64 oz containers for $9.99) Almost instant regret that I also got 2 containers of tomato feta soup, I said "almost" coz the one from Trader Joe's is really, really good. Got naan to sop up the soup & a package of beef stew coz it's definitely worth the while (instead of buying small portions at a grocery store for a whole lot more. I'm almost out of Coffeemate so I got one container. It was a good shopping experience & I didn't even have to wait in line to pay at self checkout. I like that even when it's a long line, Costco is diligent about ensuring your experience is expedited one way or another. read more

This is for the pharmacy. By far the worst I have seen in my entire life. Consistently disappointing experience at this Costco pharmacy. Several times now they've been out of stock on my medications, forcing delays in getting prescriptions filled. When I asked about generic alternatives to save money, staff said they weren't able to make that suggestion -- which isn't helpful when cost matters and generics are often clinically equivalent. Their pharmacists don't seem to be knowledgeable enough and show no intention to help. For a pharmacy inside a wholesale club built around value, I'd expect better stock management and more proactive guidance on options. Considering switching pharmacies. read more

COSTCO #678 Rancho Cucamonga My family and I are visiting from South Carolina, and we have always expected the same level of professionalism and respect from Costco, regardless of which state we visit. At approximately 1:39 p.m., we were checking out at the SELF-CHECKOUT. I understand that my 6-year-old nephew was not standing where he was supposed to be, and I acknowledge that this needed to be addressed. Shortly afterward, he accidentally spilled his drink. What really upset me, however, was hearing two ladies from customer service talking negatively about my sister while they were right there. They apparently did not realize I was nearby and could hear the conversation. I have worked in customer service myself, so I understand that dealing with customers is not always easy. People can be challenging, and I understand that employees may become frustrated. But that is not an excuse to speak badly about members, especially where the member or their family can hear. What disappointed me even more was that these two ladies were acting as though they cared about the situation while, at the same time, speaking negatively about my family member. That felt very disrespectful and unprofessional. I chose not to confront them at the time because I was extremely upset and did not want my emotions to cause me to say something I would regret. Costco should remind and train customer service employees that if they need to discuss a member or a difficult situation, it should be done privately and professionally. Customers and members deserve respect, even when there is an issue or mistake. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Difficult customers and situations are part of working in customer service, but professionalism and respect should never be optional. read more

I don't always go to Costco (lies I do) but when I do, I take my wallet. 5/5 Service There was a Frog Sprinkler tunnel for the kids on display but couldn't find any on the shelves. Asked one of the workers who was putting items back and they let me know they were out but gave me options for the nearest Costco that had inventory. 5/5 Suns out Spring Out Swimsuit season is upon us. They had a lot of options for everyone in the fam. Flowers for you garden area out. Nothing like looking fresh and stopping to smell the roses. 5/5 Parking A lot of parking available for this location. They have a gas station on site as well. Not all Costco's are the same and I really dislike this location. It's always packed i mean crazy packed. Which is to be expected as most Costco's are. This location has some of the most rude and obnoxious people ever! I've had more than one person run into me here without a sorry or my bad. You know I let them have it but I shouldn't have to. I like to shop in peace. I don't like the feeling that i have to be on the defense as soon as I walk into a store. It's like the people think their too good to say sorry or admit they are in the wrong. Also has a few jerks fight over parking and held us and others trying to park. Unfortunately it sucks because some of the Costco employees are very friendly and helpful but these horrible experiences with other customers made me never want to come back. read more

Costco Optical Employee Ramon Demanded a Same-Day Prescription -- Even Though Mine Was Only Two Weeks Old! I've been a Costco member for over 18 years, and this was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. I recently purchased two pairs of reading glasses using a new prescription dated October 13, 2026. Although I could read clearly, the glasses caused dizziness and headaches after wearing them for about 10 minutes. I wanted to return them and purchase another pair with a different frame. Costco Optical instructed me to return to my eye doctor to have my prescription rechecked. I followed their instructions, made another appointment, took time away from work, drove to the doctor's office, and spent approximately two hours on the recheck on October 27. After complying with Costco's request, I returned to Costco Optical, expecting to resolve the issue. Instead, a Costco Optical employee named Ramon refused to proceed with another purchase unless I provided a NEW prescription dated THAT VERY DAY (October 27, 2026), or a different prescription. Let me emphasize: My prescription was issued just TWO WEEKS EARLIER, Costco had already accepted it to make my original glasses, and I had already followed Costco's instructions to have it rechecked by my eye doctor! Why would I need another prescription dated today when my October 13 prescription was still valid? My complaint was about the comfort and fit of the glasses, not my ability to read clearly. I had already lost two hours of work time following Costco's instructions. Was Ramon expecting me to make yet another appointment, take more time away from work, and drive back to the doctor simply to obtain a prescription with today's date? For what purpose? If Costco requires customers to obtain a brand-new prescription after returning a pair of glasses, then clearly state that requirement in your return policy and inform customers BEFORE they purchase. Customers deserve to know these conditions upfront so they don't get screwed over, waste hours of their time, and discover unexpected requirements only after making a purchase. After more than 18 years of Costco membership, I expected better treatment. I've submitted a formal complaint to Costco and would like to know whether demanding a same-day prescription is actually Costco Optical's policy or simply Ramon's decision. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I followed Costco's instructions, spent two hours of my workday getting my prescription rechecked, and simply wanted to purchase another pair of glasses with a different frame. I'm going to start this review saying that I am a huge Costco fan! I love the food, gas, samples, $5 chicken, food at food court and just the whole Costco concept. That is why it is with sadness in my soul to have to write this review. This particular Costco has to be one of the poorest managed Costco in the nation. Where to start.... How bout during Lunch time rush hour they have usually 3 checkers open and the self check out line is 20 people deep. It's infuriating. Or how bout during lunch hour the sample people actually have some samples. If that are 5 sample people on the floor usually 3 of those people have no samples.... You have one job to give sample. Please have samples. And now it seems like the food court has been a complete nightmare.... Wait times of 25 mins for food that is prepared is crazy. They usually staff 3 total people during lunch hour and have 2 windows open with the slowest workers at each windows. Please.... Anyone that manages this store get it together. Costco Business around the corner has their stuff together and run an awesome store. read more

Going to Costco is dangerous lol. I always end up getting stuff I don't need! It's my go to store for my monthly grocery run! I buy in bulk for certain items like paper towels and laundry detergent. It's a great store to buy the necessities for a party, like water, chips, plates, etc. The store is clean and well organized. Thrilled to be a new Costco member! The process was quick and a smooth transaction. Was even able to add my oldest as an extra cardholder while there. Went with the Executive Membership and after we completed the process, we shopped for a bit. That place is dangerous because there's so much good stuff to buy! Afterwards, we stopped at the food court to enjoy dinner. Can't beat feeding everybody for about $12! Such a deal! Thanks, Costco! read more

Regardless, what time of the day you go to Costco? Everyone is always helpful. Pretty much anything your shopping for you'll find it at a good price sometimes they may be overpriced on some things, but other than that, their produce, dairy, and meats are always a good price for the quantity. My only gripe is the men's Kirkland white T-shirts they sell are now garbage. The ones from a year ago were the best T-shirts you could find! The new ones they sell, the collar is a lot thinner and smaller so it's not as wide around the neck. so when you're wearing a button up, it doesn't look as neat. The area around your shoulders and armpits are tight, you have to pull and stretch out those areas in order to have the T-shirt fit comfortably. If you go a size larger then the shirt is just hanging on you and it looks ridiculous. If you're looking for T-shirts, your best bed is probably a TJ Maxx or a similar store. Costco T-shirts are no longer the best value the quality just isn't there anymore. That's just my opinion, you will have to buy a pack of these T-shirts. Costco is hand down my favorite place to shop! You can almost get everything here: clothes, produce, meats, vitamins, you name it. And you definitely get what you're paying for! Often times, we get way better deals than what you'll find at the grocery store. Another positive is the customer service. Everyone working here is very friendly and make some great recommendations. Also, making returns is pretty easy. We've had to make quite a few returns and it has never been an issue. Lastly, Costco has replaced Pepsi with Coke in the food court! I have been waiting for this and am so happy! A Coke and hotdog is way better than a Pepsi and hotdog. 10/10 would recommend you shop here! read more

This is the second trip in a row, that while exiting, after purchase one of the Costco employees pushes Christianity on my. Last trip, the sales guy started arguing to me about how jesus loves me because of a shirt I had on for a band, obviously not christian and didnt need him to push his religion on me. The Costco in Rancho Cucamonga was really busy when I made a stop here. The warehouse itself has the usual Costco selection and good prices, but navigating the aisles and checkout lines felt slower than at other locations. Staff are friendly enough, but the crowds made the whole experience feel a bit hectic. read more

This store has some RUDE employees. I'm so sick of the staff just grabbing my cart when I'm in line to move it up. If you see a customer holding the cart ask before you just grab it. Especially if you see personal items like a purse. I don't understand why they want us to be right up on the person in front of us. I will leave a few feet of space and wait before I move up. This happened again today and I said no and the guy got mad and had an attitude. Stop grabbing my cart with my purse. At least ask and let me grab my purse that has my wallet and credit card before taking my cart, there is literally no need for this when there is someone who hasn't even paid ahead of me. And then when I ask for a box the staff member completely ignores me. At this point the business center is better and has way better customer service. This store is becoming so ghetto and trashy. read more

This is a busy location. We parked at the outer edge of the parking lot so we wouldn't have to search for a spot. This was a quick in and out run. All of the lines were long except the self check out lines. We used the merchandise pick up window and the gentleman working there was very nice. read more

They all had friendly smiles and were so freaking kind. This is not my normal Costco I go to. I usually go to Fontana or the one in Glendale. Most Costco locations are good and this one is no exception! Clean, friendly employees (a plus in my book), plentiful parking, organized and pleasant! Sometimes the worst part about shopping here is the other shopper's rudeness but it's usually not bad. There's a great selection of food, drinks, alcohol, sporting goods, office supplies, recreational goods, clothing, etc, all at reasonable prices! Everything like the width of the aisles, the displays, the checkout, etc is well thought out! I'm a dummy because I didn't buy Costco stock during the pandemic when it was one of the few stores I always went to at that time. This Costco is right off the freeway. It is super convenient and located across from the Ontario Mills. It can be very busy. I like this Costco. It is clean. It carries some Asian foods that you can't get anywhere else. Their selections are varied. Prices are good. The service is great. read more

I bought a set of tires and rims for my chevrolet silverado approximately 2 years ago, today I went back to Cosco because two of the center pieces to the rims had cracked. The person that helped me at the tire center told me I was better off if I was to order this item myself because they could loose them, this item cost $52.00. I ordered pizza for 5 pm uncut and they wrote it down made a note and would not give me my pizzas without making me wait in line when we had a set time and made me go inside to get a printed receipt Was very rude telling me there is a line but these were ordered early this morning and for a specific time. I was at costumer service today try to returned a few items, they take a while to move the line three people try to figure out a return,I was patiently waiting finally my turn, manager Jessie takes care of me I was surprised he was really rude e unprofessional he was touching my items like they were trash or something when finished he literally said byeee in a tone .. as if I was a little kid. By far the best Costco location in regard to getting in and out. This location unlike others is not crazy busy and parking is pretty easy to find. Selection is comparable to other locations as it carries pretty much everything you need and expect to get from Costco. Associates are all very friendly and helpful. Personally, my favorite Costco location by far. read more

The cashier was friendly but then she just started tossing our items into our cart because I guess we weren't packing the shopping cart fast enough. The lady who was checking receipts at the exit was very friendly. The manager on staff today was a female. She was speaking to another Costco employee when my husband came up and asked her where the Clorox wipes were located. She was rude in her response to my husband. I guess she was inconvenienced because a customer needed help but she was in the middle of a conversation with another Costco employee. If your job entails working with people then make sure it's what you want to do. If not, then please go find work elsewhere. read more
