I tried to speak to her about a product and she kept on interrupting me telling me that she is the store manager and that is how she runs things. She walked away when I was talking. So I hope corporate sees this before I make a phone call bright and early on Monday. Your "manager" on duty needs to find another career choice. In a nutshell, I bought two luggage in July for my trip to Italy in August. I packed both suitcases, put them in the car and by the time I got to the airport, one of the wheels fell off of one of the pieces of luggage. We had to unpack the broken luggage and put all of my clothes Into the second luggage I bought. Now we had to pay overweight fees at the airport because of the broken wheel. We left the bag in the car and went to Italy. Came back and today I went in for a refund. Long story short, your "Manager" Told me that the bag was used and if I would've bothered to read the fine print, I would've known that once the bag left the store it was used. Well I'm not reading fine print and I expect something that cost $70 to hold up longer than an hour in a trunk on the way to the airport. This luggage was not used. Never made it on an airplane. She refused to give me my refund so she handed me back my receipt and said have a good day. You have totally lost my business. I will never be back to your establishment and I hope that that $70 piece of luggage was worth all the bad publicity that you were going to get and trust me. I will be making a phone call on Monday. You have so many other options than to come to this store. Burlington in general has zero customer appreciation. First of all they've gotten rid of their dressing rooms entirely and have replaced them with two freestanding dressing rooms. So if you're there at a busy time, get ready to wait 40 minutes to try on a pair of pants. Secondly, they no longer allow customers to use their restrooms. Third and final reason I will never be going back is that customers are now not allowed to try on bras. They have a pretty big selection, but we all know bras come in all kinds of shapes and straps and so do women's bodies. The store is more concerned about making sure the employees do as little as possible at the expense of the customer. In summary, you have Marshalls and Ross close by. Target and Walmart not too far away. I would check those out instead of coming in here and feeling like you're bothering an employee if you need any kind of service. read more

They wont exchange a five dollar cup that they sold me that was cracked the day before.. but not only that, on top of it, the manager couldn't even come out to talk to me about it when I requested it, they asked me if I used a card so they could do it that way, and I told them yes, and then they still proceeded to not even try and say 'oh well, the system won't let us.' HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE!!! On Saturday, February 8th, early afternoon, my family and I (husband and adult son) went to Burlington in Upland, CA (on Foothill) Surprisingly the store was not packed or busy that day. My son who has Autism was looking around the men's section like normal then a lady who was the Floor Supervisor that day approached my son and told him " You and your friends have to leave or she will contact the police because he looked suspicious". First, of all my son was not with any friends, he was with me and his dad, which he told her and also said he was not doing nothing wrong. The floor supervisor insisted he go outside. So my son called me from outside and we returned in the store. I asked her what caused her to tell my son to leave and unfortunately she did not have a solid reason she explained Burlington has been having a lot of thefts lately and he looked suspicious and just apologized as I told her that he was just looking around shopping. Obviously my son was profiled, harrassed and discriminated at this point I requested to speak to the Store Mgr. but she was out for the day. This supervisor's actions was totally wrong and unlawful. I am truly saddened and livid this happened as I tried to console and let my son know he did nothing wrong. I seriously hope that proper actions will be taken against that supervisor. The Burlington stores need to strongly get additional proper training on DIVERSITY and EQUALITY especially in today's world and my son was a perfect example of this unfortunate situation. I wrote a letter to the CEO of company and filed a CUSTOMER COMPLAINT REPORT in hopes they listen and respond as well as take this report seriously. read more

My mom and I have a nice little routine on my day off... she goes shopping at the 99 cents store and I walk over to Burlington... it's always so nice and bright! The AC is blowing(that's important in the IE, where summers are very hot) and their restrooms are always very clean! And don't get me started on the deals! I go up and down every aisle and I end up with a stack of clothes for me or the kids! I always end up putting some back because I can't just buy everything! I'd give this store a negative 5 stars if I could. I bought a summer outfit for my husband and some cartoons undies for my son. Items total $23 +tax. Admittedly they stayed in the trunk of my car for a month (with the receipt) When I went to return them I only could get store credit (okay) like I said, it had been over 30 days since the purchase. But seriously, not only did they just give me a store credit they also took a pretty large percentage off too. Like a fine for not bringing back my items quickly. And I still had the receipt! Welcome to the neighborhood, Burlington! Tonight was my first visit here and I can't wait to come back when I have more time to browse. This store definitely requires a bit of patience as you peek around the aisles. While this is a great store to grab some gifts, it isn't an ideal spot to go to when there's something specific in mind you're looking for. Case in point: Tonight I ran in searching for an ugly Christmas sweater or something I could use to make one. While they had sweater styles galore in all sizes, there was only one item I found that could possibly work. The arrangement of the store and sizing aisles is quite confusing (which is why I deducted one star). Improved signage or more customer service walking the aisles is highly recommended. The store was very clean and neat which is not typical of stores of this kind (since customers do a lot of rummaging). I will definitely be back and encourage others to stop in. There's a large brand new parking lot in front off of Foothill Blvd. and I only predict this store getting busier once Raising Canes opens. read more

The store itself has a 5 star I have been waiting for this store to open and finally it did. It's a good size store extremely clean and organized. Associates are nice. Speaking on behalf of my mom the elders the children at this location they used to have public restrooms and don't anymore unfortunately at today's visit one of the people in our family had a bathroom emergency and was denied access due to the doors being locked up. Every time I go here it's been nice and clean can't say the same about the Ross (right next to them) that just opened two days ago. There isn't really anyone around the store to help out, just cashiers. However, it's unfortunate they felt the need to send out a promotion they didn't plan to meet. I received an offer of a thermal bag with any purchase. When I arrived at check out, they said they were out of stock. No offer of an alternate, not even a much cheaper reusable shopping bag. No offer to let me bring my receipt back when they were in stock. In fact, not even an apology. The wording was "Unfortunately, we are out of those." This store just opened right by my friends house and we decided to check it out. There was lots of choices to pick from, the store was well kept and really organized! We were on the hunt for pillows and some work shoes. Found what we needed with no problem, there was so much to pick from I couldn't decide on which pillows or shoes! The cashier was really sweet and the door greeter was super funny! He made us all laugh because my husband made a comment about "wow these are some fancy bags!" I went to Burlington tonight and bought shoes that looked on the bottom worn. I am shocked that Burlington doesn't discount the items that are not in a brand new condition. Also the cashier tried to charge me twice for the overpriced shoes and then started to argue with me about it when I saw the charge twice as she ring my stuff up. The store is nice and clean in spite of some clutter. There is some disorder in the placement of clothing next to the women's shoes. The shoe section is a mess. The clothing is trendy and there is not really a great selection of professional style clothing by JONES OF NY or ANN KLEIN II. Burlington use to carry nice silk coordinates and now they are NON existent in the store. I found no nice black pantsuit suitable for an interview. Very disappointed in the clothing. This Burlington is by far the neatest and nicest ones I've been to. I figured since its still new to the neighborhood it wouldn't last long, but its holding up. This time around I came for some sandals (even though its pouring raining and we are in winter season) I came across these Tommy Hilfiger sandals that were just perfect and my size! To top it off they were for the expensive price of 20 bucks!! Cant beat that. So after picking those up... I picked up some earrings, and some jeans, began looking for a jacket... then ended up in the picture area. This place has so many good things for a good price. The checkout line was getting kind of long so one of the employees by the name of Mercy began ringing customers up. She was so nice and quick with my transaction. I made a trip from Mira Loma to upland to check out this store, and I have never had a great experience in a store like I did today. I tried on a blouse that I was gonna buy, but the girl who stood in front of the dressing room was supposed to hold it for me and didn't notice that it was gone. I was kinda upset because I asked her to hold it. As I was looking for it ... another employee walked up to me(her name was Silvia)and asked me if I needed help.
