I arrived at this Kohl's in Upland to pick up an online order last night. They have a self-pick section to the left of the cashier area near the front of the store. The aisle has small binder boxes where they place the ordered items in plastic bags. I had already received an email from Kohl's indicating my order was ready for pick-up. Spot 10 was where my bagged item was supposed to be. Upon my arrival, Spot 10 was empty. Hmmm? I asked the staff about it. They started looking at all the other spots to find my missing bag. And I mean all the other boxes LOL. I was standing there for almost a good 10 mins watching the staff in action wondering where my bag could be (yes I was laughing in my head). No words were spoken to me until the young man walked over to me and said my purchase was picked up by another customer in error and that they don't have another thermal (my item) in their store to give to me. Hence, he had to refund my purchase. Now I have to repurchase my item. They couldn't do it for me. Bummer! Wow, this has never happened to me in the past. It's unfortunate customers don't check their purchase before leaving the store. Funny, there is a sticker with the customer's initials on the bag. You would think if it doesn't match their initials, it may not be their purchase LOL. Go figure! Hope they are enjoying my thermal or perhaps they figured it out and have returned the thermal to the store LOL. Anyway, hope this type of situation doesn't happen too often. There really should be a secondary check by the staff before the customer leaves the store with the bagged items. Just my 2 cents. Good luck Kohl's! read more

She told me, very rudely, that I had to use self-checkout. I told her that I didn't have my Kohl's card and might need assistance. This Kohl's is up in the mountains practically, off the 210 freeway at the Commons in the land of Up. I love this location because it's got a great view of the valley and the mountains behind it, but also because it's at the west end of the shopping center which means lots of parking. Also, the store is big, clean, organized and has a ton of new styles for women. They also have a Sephora. I enjoy this Kohl's more than the one in Ontario for sure. Don't give a crap what it is at corporate or whoever controls your air conditioner, or if you're trying to save money. When people come in your store and walk out dripping that is unacceptable. It should be set at a constant 68 so Shoppers can be comfortable. You're going to be out of business in the next year or so if you don't get your act in gear. We can shop on Amazon or elsewhere from the comfort of our air conditioned home. Family and I were around the area (plaza located in Upland) and decided to window shop after shopping at Target. There were a lot of sales in this particular location! Parking lot is always empty, so I always wonder how sections of clothing displays are a disaster. I really come here as a last resort on purchasing items. Bought a perfume here , Versace yellow diamond, which was $80.00. I went to my car to open it and put it on for the day, and there was a bottle of Asprin inside, and 2 AAA batteries wrapped in bubble wrap and electrical tape. I asked for a replacement and a Kohl's manager by the name of Isabelle basically laughed in my face and told me that they havnt had a return on fragrances in over a year and a half ( implying that it must have been me ). In the midst of the hustle and bustle of customers, returning items, and taking advantage of the awesome after Christmas sales; I was blessed by an AWESOME member of your staff named, IRENE. I am a long time customer and need to say the remodeled store, to front registers does not work for the customers. I had one item to return and it took 20 minutes while the two registers open helped the 12 other customers in front of me. The Amazon returns which I also went to had one person in line. The store return needs to be a dedicated register like it used to be. When I finally got thru line there was a minimum of 10 people waiting behind me. So customer service is non existent. Please fix the very poor idea of having the return and purchase at the 2 only registers open. This has happened to me on several occasions where the lines are too long and 20-25 minutes to return. This review is for the Amazon returns service here. I recently had to return something that I purchased on Amazon but I had mistakenly thrown out the box it came in. So while I was going through the return process on their website I noticed that it had the option to return it at a Kohls store. I was like, "hmmm...what's this??" I mean, I had vaguely heard about it but didn't ever think I would need it. Well here we were... I was suspiciously cautious about the words free packing and shipping but said, "ya know, what the heck lemme try it!" So in I went on a weekday afternoon after work. I strolled up to where the big signs pointed me to the Amazon station and found two people in line. I got in behind them and awaited my fate. It was rather quick but could've been quicker. One person had two separate returns and the other was taking their time in talking to the customer service rep. It felt like the dmv scene in Zootopia with the sloths. Ok it really didn't but it was a slowww pace...not because of the service reps but because of the annoying customers. Anyways, my turn came. I showed them the bar code in my phone. They scanned it. This Kohl's is really a five-star, compared to any other Kohl's that I've been to, especially in Southern California. The dressing rooms are fairly clean. All the floors in general are clean and well kept. The items are organized appropriately on the hanging racks. Probably the most impressive thing about this Kohl's is if they have such a huge selection. I would only go to this Kohl's if you actually want to buy items. I've gone before, looked at items and then been to another Kohl's to try to purchase them, and they don't have those items at the other Kohl's. For probably in 20 miles every direction, this is by far the best Kohl's store around. Additionally, the staff are always very friendly and very helpful. It seems that they have been working at this Kohl's for a long time and enjoy their jobs. I definitely recommend shopping here for some good deals and a comfortable shopping experience! read more

UPDATE: Dec 4, 2019 I ordered an item from the Kohls website: toddler's shoes. I ordered size 5T for a 5 year-old and when I picked up at the store, I was surprised to find a tiny shoe that would barely fit a one-year-old. This is on the assumption that "5T" meant 5-year-old toddler as with all clothing items such as shirts, pants, shorts, etc. Those who have shopped for kids apparel will know this. I went back to customer service and asked them if they can exchange it for me for the appropriate size I ordered. I was told they cannot find it in their system and told me that I can head over to the kids shoes section to find one myself. I arrived at the kids shoes section and it was a mess and HIGHLY inefficient. There were shoes that had price tags (apart from the MSRP printed on the box - how am I supposed to know if there is any sale or price discounts applied to the item?), others did not. Boxes on the shelf were not ordered on the shelf properly in the sense that there was absolutely no way to find what I was looking for. Sizes were out of order that had absolutely no correspondence to what is in the box - a size 2.5 was in a large box while a size 11.5 was in a smaller box. To make matters worse, two boxes could have the same EXACT label with the same EXACT model number but a TOTALLY DIFFERENT shoe inside (wth??). And then there were confusing large numbers with letters on them such as "5Y" or "12K" ...are these a model series? A design? In addition, there were no specific design arranged by columns - absolutely no order to anything. And this did not only apply to the under-armour, but to the Nike's, the OshKosh, just to name a few. The only thing it was separated by is by how the outer box looks. Why can't there be a standardized system? Such inefficiency. The Upland store is the worst for returns. They make their own policies, especially on items You don't have a receipt for shoes. If the shoes have been worn tested they won't take them back because they're considered worn. How Would you know you're not happy with the shoes unless you wear them, they're not following policy. Worst place ever. I have so many issues every time I try to return to this store the other stores follow the policy. even the managers back up the employees instead of following policy like they're supposed to this store should be the next door that closes. read more

My fiancé went to return an amazon return. When an African-American cashier looked at the bar code, she scolded my fiancé with an attitude that they can't take it and he should go to UPS to mail it. First of, the amazon rep I spoke with did not said anything specific and I assumed that we can return it like the rest of the packages we returned to Amazon through Kohl's. Secondly, she didn't have to give him an attitude and could have politely refer him to a UPS store. I understand that during this time, a lot of people are stressed out. Thanks for the traumatizing experience, Kohl's in Upland store number 0607. #Kohls I was looking for a bra and wanted to try a B or C cup. The fitting rooms were closed. I am a new mom so I'm unsure of my size. I went to the mirror. I put both bras over my chest OVER my shirt. A White older lady worker named Monika, walked over, looked down on me, frowned and shook her head at me while taking the Size B cup away from me. I replied back to her, "I'm not done yet." She would be doing her correct job of putting it away *IF* I purposely left the size B bra on the table and walked away. The point is, I was trying on the C cup bra and still deciding what size fits me. She went over to me *DURING* me trying this bra on and *ASSUMED* I wouldn't put it back on the shelf because I'm Asian. Furthermore, is Kohl's saying it's okay to shame moms? This location is clean and staff are mostly friendly but u can get a few bad apples. Store is alright it has a lot of great girls clothes but I haven't really found to many good boys or young mens clothing. I have to use kohls.com for my boys. Lately the cashiers have been so rude they use to have such nice welcoming cashiers and this season I'm doing Christmas shopping all the cashiers I've had have been rude and slow. I absolutely love kohl's. It's one of my favorite places to shop. I usually buy a lot for their Black Friday deals and continue to reap the benefits after that with their kohl's cash and coupons after that and have saved a lot of money. A lot of people complain about things being overly priced. In my opinion yes some items can be but you have to know what to look out for and what coupons to combine with it to get the best deals. I love their online pick up service. I have ordered items for pick up and they are ready in as little as 1 hour! They are super quick to respond and their online pick up line is pretty quick as well. My only reason why I don't give Kohl's a 5 star rating is honestly nothing to do with this store itself. It has to do with the company floor set up standards. They have displays set up so close to each other that I feel so cramped walking down isles and making my way through sections of the store can be a hassle. I know there are certain laws that govern how many inches need to be between displays but I feel like they really push it. I'm constantly crashing my cart into displays and racks bc of how tight and cramped everything is. It's gotta be tough for anyone trying to navigate a wheel chair and when I'm trying to get through isles with two kids and a shopping cart it can be slightly frustrating.
