When I settled on some try-ons, she took the time to learn my name/it's spelling, checked in/gave feedback when I walked out to their little hall/runway, and found discounts for me when I settled on my items. Christina and the team were tremendously helpful. I had made a web order for pick up here during a huge sale and the shoes I purchased were too big. Christina helped to process the return, reorder the shoes in a smaller size and have them sent to my house instead of pick up. On top of it, since the sale was no longer going on, she honored my purchase price on the reorder. She was so super helpful, as was the entire staff. Went in there to look for a dress for my babyshower & I found one pretty quickly. I wanted to try it on and make sure it would fit but waiting for the dressing rooms took a VERY long time. Don't get me wrong the girl there handling the dressing room was kind and had great customer service but they definitely need to add more rooms because having to wait 20 mins was not fun. Also to return a dress I had took a long time as well, but again the girl helping out was doing her best and was kind. Props to the girl at the dressing room helping everyone out though! read more

My daughter and I went to Torrid yesterday 6/25/19 and had the most pleasant experience that anyone could every have shopping. The girl that helped me was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the clothing , she knew right where everything was, if they didn't have what I was looking for she offered to find it at a different store and have it shipped. All the girls in there were super friendly and helpful. The clothing is very well made and reasonable in price... I had been to the Mills Mall Torrid on 6/24/19 which was my first time every going into a Torrid let's just say the girls there were not so friendly or helpful. I've been to lots of different torrid locations but I'd say this has become my least fave. Lots of clearance (just like the other locations) but nothing as good as other locations. The fitting rooms are run down and smaller than norm and they're so dusty, made my allergies flare up. Customer service was okay. One girl was helpful. read more

I rarely, if ever, write reviews on yelp, or any other platform for that matter. However I felt compelled to write about this Torrid location. I went to return some dresses I got online, as soon as I stepped foot in the store I was greeted with a chorus of friendly hellos from every young lady that was working. I told the manager Kiara I was there for a return, but I was going to look around first. Every gal in there was so helpful and genuinely nice! It is so rare today to find young people "millennials" that are well mannered and happy to be at work. It was so refreshing!!! Needless to say I ended doing an exchange rather than return because they have some great new winter clothes in now. I look forward to my next trip into this fantastic Torrid location. Where do I start? I was very self conscious walking in as recently given birth to two babies my body has taken a toll and nothing really fit right at Windsor or Forever 21. After much hesitation I walked in and immediately felt welcomed by Kiara. I started looking around and noticed their sizing so I asked Kiara and she explained how their sizing worked. I honestly never write reviews for clothing stores but I came into Torrid for the first time ever today and had to share my experience. The customer service was amazing, and not just in the way where you feel like they're trying to get you to buy something but because they actually care and are happy to be there. Everyone was friendly from the moment I walked in, I never felt like I had to search for someone because there was always someone checking in or available for any questions. The fitting rooms were clean and overall it was a really positive shopping experience. I definitely look forward to coming back in the future. read more

Well, I had the opportunity of shopping at Torrid. It was very disappointing. The customer was horrible. I had to wait 20 min. For someone to help me sizing for a sports bar. I guess at the Montclair location their activewear is nonexistent. I was just so angry at the rudeness I was receiving as a first time customer. DISAPPOINTING, DISGUSTED, DISMISSED!! I bought two pairs of these jeans last year and as someone mentioned in a previous comment, they fit great, but only last 2-3 months before they split in the thigh area. I purchased another two pairs of these jeans, received them today, such a disappointment!!! Far INFERIOR material, stitching, ratchet quality than the other two pairs I purchased last year! Why the change? The material is so thin, stitched poorly in seams, zipper sticks, on BOTH PAIRS!! Called their customer service and after being transferred to 3 people, I was told "I get what I paid for." WILL BE CONTACTING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE!! I used to love Torrid, but their quality of products and services, have cheapened and deteriorated. $10 jeans, passed off for $60 jeans..I am disgusted!!! Customer since Torrid spun off Hot Topic, they just lost long time customer! UPDATE: After 3 days of receiving these jeans and writing a review on their website, I received an email stating that my "review has been taken off because it didn't meet their guidelines!" I love this store. The employees are friendly and helpful. Sometimes I get a new employee who has to ask the manager questions, and they're always very apologetic for not knowing. Don't apologize! It's okay to not know and need to ask. That's how you learn. I generally buy online for the larger selection, but if stuff doesn't fit, I go back to this location to exchange. Never had a single issue, it's always a smooth transaction (unlike the Mills location, but we don't need to get into that). read more

Customer svs is always the associates too priority. I feel so comfortable shopping here (no judgement) even the times I'm going in circles and asking a million questions the associates really are there to help and make the shopping experience the best it can be. I am plus size so this store is great for me! Typically everything is this store looks good on me and FITS me! Obviously you pay more for bigger sizes because there is obviously no other competitor that is close to them! Today they had there buy one get one 50% promo going! (Love promos!) Their clothing leans toward a more punk skull loving look but they also have a small variety for a "forever 21" look (if that makes sense!) Overall love them! read more

Haven't shopped here in many years, stopped by last week because I was looking for a dress or outfit that was rockabilly or something car show appropriate. I found a lot of things, but they were out of my size in my top pick . Not a problem. I found 2 dresses and 3 tops I spent around $175 with a buy one dress get one half off. Found clearance tops as well. I feel it was slightly pricy because they clothes are on the thin side but that's ok I like what I bought. The women that work here give impeccable customer service, 5 stars for that. But the prices do somewhat hurt the bank=4 stars. Keep up the great customer service Torrid crew, you ladies are amazing!! Didn't know the time, I walked into the store asking Jazz (184062) & Marisol (212930) the time store closes. They said within 15 mins, I felt like a bride without a dress whom was on a time limit to look for it. My roommate asked the color I was looking for to wear to my brothers wedding in Hawaii & I told her the colors. Jazz steps into the scene already having a great convo with my roommate; started pinpointing our clothes. She listened to what I was looking for & searches. I now have 10 mins. Jazz told me not to worry. Marisol (212930) jumped in after helping another customer. She was honest with certain things I tried on & also accommodated what I was looking for. 5 mins, they are still servicing me with colors & options to try on. Very international, kind, honest and amazing at what they do. The store was close & I was still in the dressing room. Each had an honest feedback which I love. I end picking out a dress they had hanging on the doors of the dressing room. We all agreed that spring dress was the winner. We than looked for shoes, sandals still they were servicing me & then rang me up with such patience and kindness. We were talking and it literally felt like family helping out their sister finding a dress. All the hard work and love made the process a lot more smoother finding the dress. Jazz & marisol has every option to not receive us because they were closing. Instead they took me in & catered to what was needed. I couldn't stop thanking them & complimenting them on their beauty & customer service. I end up saving almost a $100 dolllars due to the original price. GOD IS GOOD. Marisol & Jazz did an amazing job & needs to be recognized for being the legit face of what makes Torrid. This torrid is located Mont Clair plaza mall, California.
