Unfortunately, my experience this morning was far from what I had hoped for. As I was shopping, two employees hovered closely and circled around me multiple times, fixating on my hands and arms without offering any assistance or even a shopping basket despite a few items in my hands that I was fully intending to purchase. I had my personal bag over my arm and was taking photos to share with my mom, who was also interested in purchasing items as well. Being scrutinized like this felt invasive and unsettling, especially when other shoppers in the store seemed to shop freely with their personal bags, totes, and strollers. When I questioned if there was an issue after circling around me not once, but 4 times, the 2 female employees acted confused, but their behavior was unmistakably targeted. Seeing that similar reviews from a year ago highlight the same issue, it is clear nothing has changed. This pattern of behavior feels like an enabling of racial profiling, which is deeply disappointing, particularly when the store is aiming to celebrate and promote culture through their World Cup merchandise and LA Dodger gear. As a Latina, I had simply hoped for a welcoming and appreciative shopping experience but left feeling upset and excluded. I hope this review encourages The Grove to reflect on their staff training and work towards creating a more inclusive environment for all customers. Sharing this experience with the POC communities and on social media could help advocate for the necessary change.

Maybe because I am young at heart I found a couple of things here: a baby doll T-shirt ($18) that said "I love hot dads" and a sweater ($36) with cherries on them. Yeah none of this stuff is work-appropriate but I like to wear fun clothes! I signed up for their points club, you get a free sticker for doing this as well as getting a free tote bag on your birthday. They have stores throughout SoCal but this was the first location I've been to. Service was friendly and they helped me find the right sizes that I needed. Prices weren't too bad either. Would totally return!

The shoes are fantastic! comfortable looking, the displays are updated each season. It has a high-end European vibe when you walk in; the scent is mesmerizing. Service was very accommodating. As soon as you walked in, they greeted you and asked if they could assist. Know in advance not to touch the merchandise - ask for their assistance. But I still ended up buying new rave clothes from this store! I think the quality of the clothes is pretty good cause Ive had no issues so far when it comes to the fabric of the rave clothes. She found my order, pulled it, and also gave me a 25% off coupon for any in-store purchase. The transaction was done in probably less than five minutes since I had a concert to go to the same night. I'd definitely send my merch to this store again to pick up any online orders since couriers outside of USPS are horrible with delivering orders where I live (gated community). The shirts are pretty good quality as I've purchased from here before. Give them a shot. Their service and acknowledgement is leagues better than Pac Sun in the same mall.

The clothing in her store is so beautiful and unique. She sales prayer flags and so many other things. We brushed it off but shortly after we heard her scolding an employee for allowing my grandma to utilize the restroom then going inside startling her. It was very unfortunate as we saw multiple items we wanted to purchase but was dissuaded for continuing to shop. I can only assume your lack of accountability and rude behavior afterwords is a response to me asking about veterans discount when I first came in so if that's the case I will make sure to reach out to my local VA about your discrimination toward disabled veterans.
