I told my daughters to search through the website and find what they wanted. The order was placed and received quickly. Unfortunately, one of the games my oldest requested wasn't compatible with her gaming system. So we went to this store to see if we could exchange it. We were greeted and helped upon entering by Julian. All he needed was my order number, which I had from my email. Once he verified everything, he provided me with a cash refund and pointed my daughter to their selection of pre-owned games that would be compatible with her system. They had a great selection and she was able to get 3 games for the price of the one we returned! They have a lot of great games and other items available in store. They both told me the I want was totally one and not the other, so I purchased it. It was totally the other way and not the one I liked. So I went to this location to return it. Called this store from the San Bernardino location and Anya let me know they had one 2024 Bowman Chrome mega box left in store and she was willing to hold it for me. My Kids got into Pokemon, which have been quite hard to get. Austin is like a professor for pokemon and recommended which packs to get and help teach my daughter and myself how to play the game. Worst experience for Pokemon drop ever. All the shops nearby was cool with people sitting and waiting as long as they being civil and not blocking other business, but Gamestop is the only the shop that kicked everyone out and not allow lining up until closing time. There is a corner which everyone can sit and wait there, but one of the staffs walk all the way there and kick everyone out even though it was not even near Gamestop. "We gonna call PD if you guys line up"??? That employee, Austin or whatever his name is, was in one of the discord channel, letting ppl know the quantity way before they put the paper up for the ETB and let them line up. There were different people waiting already for the SPC so he kicked them out instead. Instead of letting people line up, people have to wait on the road since it was already 40+ present. And keep in mind that people had to wait ON THE ROAD because he did not let anyone near the store. He took the photo, went back inside and laughed with other staff inside the store. He stood and looked at people instantly like people are criminals being let loose on the street. He sent the picture to Scalper Hall of Fame, and called them Scalpers even though they only be able to get 1 SPC. How is that even being a scalper to others? I called them and asked for a quote on my switch light. They wouldn't give it to me on the phone. They said they needed to see it in person. I asked if they can give me an estimate so I don't waste my time to go there in the store they said no, and I had to go in the store. I went to the store. The guy didn't even look at it, touch it, or check the condition of it. Nothing. just typed it in the computer and said $55. I stated you'll give me $55 but you're selling them for $170 and pointed to the switch lights they had in the store, he said that price is outdated. I said it's the same price as what's online. me and my brother brought in maybe 50-60 games to trade in and we were helped by calvin and another worker that i wasn't able to catch the name of (so sorry!!!); they were both so kind!! while calvin was ringing up our games we brought in, the four of us had fun conversations about games, college, and other stuff too. i had a great time while we were waiting :) our total came out to about 105 in store-credit, so i went over to the switch games and, unfortunately, i didn't see much to buy, but i did notice that in the other console sections it was much more promising, so the store's selection as a whole is pretty decent!! i did end up buying two switch games and my brother used up the rest of the store-credit by converting them into steam gift-cards + i pre-ordered silent hill f!! the value for the games we brought in was absolutely insane, and i'm really happy with what we ended up leaving the store with thank you calvin + other worker !! hopefully i can catch their name next time i come by :) read more

I saw that they had some items on stock online so I go to purchase them and Vanessa, the clerk behind the counter says, "oh they don't sell those like that...we probably don't have them." This review is for the game release party for Call of Duty - World War II. This was my first experience pre-ordering a game a couple months in advance, but with the kid getting ready to hit his teen years we had to attend. The staff did an awesome job organizing this. They had a taco lady, two raffles, humvees, along with ARMY recruits and other give aways. People were coming in and out of that place during their 2 hour (7pm-9pm) release party, and the staff was super friendly. They helped anyone with questions (answered calls) in regards to the game pick-up setup. At 3 pm (this same day) they opened the reservations for anyone who pre-purchased the game. You were given a group number and told to comeback by 9pm. At 9 pm you were lined up by group number and were able to get the game. The lined moved super fast and the transaction went smooth. You showed your receipt and you were handed the game. From the time we lined up and received the game, it was less than 5 minutes. The whole experience was cool for what it was. Both kids had fun walking around, eating and playing the Nintendo Switch. Kudos to the staff!! read more

Terrible. Awful. Worst shopping experience at this GameStop in the Terra Vista shopping center. I go in to pick up a gift, and there are four employees behind the counter talking, sitting on the back counter. No one acknowledges me. I walk around and all 4 employees completely ignore me while carrying on a very loud conversation about going out to bars, getting drunk, hooking up with women. then one of the 4 employees who appeared to be mid thirties, but was extremely unkempt, BURPED! Just went in and bought two packs of cards. Opened the last pack and found damage to the left side. Went back not more than 5 minutes later and informed the store attendant about the issue. He called the main manager and left a message. The second employee argued that I had wanted to return it because it wasn't the cards I wanted. We where still waiting for the managers response when the employee kept rambling about how i just wanted to get rid of the $3 pack because it wasn't what I had wanted. Really? The young female store manager gave just about the worst customer service I've ever experienced. She was blatantly cold and rude to me and my child for no reason. I politely declined both gamestop membership and game warranty, and asked that she honor the store's online pricing. She kind of banged the game and receipt down on the counter and flatly said, "No returns" and then walked away. I told her thank you but she ignored me. I asked if she was the manager and she still ignored me. I saw from her name tag that she was. Drove home in confused anger over her treatment of us.
