    $20 Pokemon blue & $55 gba sp 101 model
    Elizabeth S.

I'm pretty sure they moved to a larger location since their first store is tiny to what they had inside. I came here to look for pokemon games for my ds but they didn't have any in stock and then I saw that they had some gba sp for sale. I bought a gba sp 101 model for $55 and bought a $20 Pokemon blue along with it. The guy was pretty nice and knowledgeable and was willing to answer any questions I had. The guy also does mods for consoles as well. Tiny parking and they take card.

Huh huh, hey Beavis, this place doesn't suck. Heh heh, yeah, this place rocks!

The adventure drags on as I further my search for a good videogame store in southern California. Today's trip takes me to the hot and very far destination of Ontario, CA in a place called Pixel Vault. Once you go inside (and move past the confusing Western Union stand), you'll be treated to a cornucopia of Retro merchandise. My god, how long has it been since I've seen so many original Super Nintendo boxes? Far too long for me. Here's a few Pros and Cons: PROS --SERVICE. I swear, if all Gamestop stores had helpful and knowledgeable guys like Armando helping you out, all these smaller mom-and-pop stores would be out of business. Armando can answer all your questions and give you lots of helpful tips for maintaining your retro systems. Plus he can fix those retro systems as well, which is definitely a plus! --COLLECTIBLES. As I mentioned in the intro, Armando has a LOT of original retro systems with their original boxes. Everything from the NES to SNES to Genesis can be found in their original cases! Plus this is the only place I've seen that has a used NEO-GEO CD console (the cheaper one not the $1000 version). Definitely a nostalgic rush to the head. --PRICE. A lot of the retro systems and games sold here are fairly priced. Armando was nice enough to knock off an extra five dollars from my purchase of SNES titles. Maybe because the titles aren't that popular or maybe because the cartridge didn't look too clean, but I'm not one to complain on a price drop. CONS --LOCATION. Ontario is NOT an ideal place to visit even on the weekend. There is ALWAYS traffic on the 10 Freeway leading up to here and it just makes your trip unnecessarily longer than it has to be. That's not the store's fault, but just be sure to carve out a lot of driving time if you decide to visit here. --SELECTION. They have a nice batch titles for all the retro and last-gen systems but not all titles are always in stock. They do have a few hard-to-find games but it can all depend on what day you walk in. In my case, they didn't have very many selections for SNES but I did find some nifty games. If anything, I'm not going to find a clean copy of Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast here anytime soon. --SIZE. The store is basically the size of a living room. Once you walk in, don't expect to see rows and rows of games (which is what I was sorta expecting since the place takes up two storefronts). Before deciding to visit Armando and his store, I highly suggest given them a call and asking if they have stock of a certain console/game. Trust me, it'll save you the extra hour of driving and then being disappointed that they don't have what you're looking for. That being said, Armando is a cool dude and he will take care of your Retro needs. Highly recommended!

Armando is the best I love coming to this place. Always good service and great selection of old school games. Nintendo, Sega, XBOX, PlayStation and even Atari and Famicon. You can't go wrong coming here if you want a specific game I'm pretty sure he will have it. And pixel Vault buys and or trades games also. How cool is that if you have old stuff you don't use anymore you can bring it in sell it to the store for CASH or credit. Every couple of months they have a sidewalk sale with even more stuff with food and sometimes bands play. There is plenty of parking and located on holt blvd between Euclid and Mountain Ave. Good stuff

Thanks to Pixel Vault Games, I was able to build upon my TMNT retro collection! #BoxedCompleteTMNT!!

Knowingly sells reproduction boxes and then their return policy is no cash refunds, store credit only. What kind of place is this?

In addition to fair prices (often below retail), Armando is a beast when it comes to fixing broken consoles.

I looked up "records" on Yelp since I've been looking to rebuild my music collection with the termination of Spotify. It's got this old school arcade vibe, but there's a small rack with CDs, a section for records, another section for manga, merch and t-shirts in the back, and old school video games, consoles, and other stuff you can buy. There are two cabinets that allow you to pick games that you want to play, but don't take too long or you'll lose your credit. These games take quarters, so that's my gripe and what the minus one star is for. The workers here are cool and chill. There's a vending machine for snacks. I'll probably come by again one day when I'm in the area. It reminds of of the small arcades back in the day, so it's a nice trip to Nostalgia Town. There were two buddies who came in and got what sounded like was $20 worth of quarters to play. That was really awesome to hear a big chunk of quarters get dispensed. Have fun if you go!

His employee doesnt have the brain capacity to give me the correct items (consoles with right cords and controllers that dont work) and i had to waiste my gas 3 times thinking he had it right the second time. How does a console they sell me dont read disks and cant even find their inventory? I asked them multiple times if it works and correct and said yes like it bothered them. Sorry i asked. I even brought him chips and water and said thank you then turned his back to tell the owner i wasnt patient with him but has me waiting near 1 hour in the store helping other ppl that are just looking and not asking for anything (his friends) like get with the program. I was more than patient but the third time? Your waisting my gas for lack of attention. Either you dont know or dont care and it seems like he dont care. Then he almost didnt want to refund me or guve me recent repaedly trying to kick me out aggressively unprofessional. The the owner (white guy blonde hair) was jealous i had better yugioh cards than him and i was sharing my music to his friend. The owner said i was annoying his friend yet when i asked his friend he said that wasnt true. This is not the first time he acted this way with me and was hella rude. He gotta taste of his own medicine. Im sure the word of mouth will spread fast for the customers that witnessed it acting disrespectful and FAILURE IN PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rat nest was the correct name approach. P.s never speak of my family ever again, your the lowest. P.s Again, i recorded the whole thing the whole time so dont makee post it here.

**Chino small business review/recommendation**…read more I purchased a Wii for my 11 yr old nephew for Christmas. I asked CC for recommendations on where to buy video games for retro consoles. I received several recommendations (thank you CC) and decided to go with Game-ER in Chino. I took my nephew in yesterday and he got to meet and do business with Jimmy. He was so helpful, and an absolute pleasure. Today, my nephew couldn't get his Wii to turn on, so he had my Pops drive him straight to Jimmy to check it out. Jimmy took the time to show my little man how to properly turn the console off and on, and help him out with his very NEW but "OLD" Wii (cause I sure had no clue ) and saved the day! My Pops also said he was awesome! Great spot next to the AAA off Philadelphia and Central! Jimmy has great customer service, and has gained a new loyal customer, and friend with my 11 yr old nephew Thank you Sir! GAME-ER (909) 627-7090
