I looked up "records" on Yelp since I've been looking to rebuild my music collection with the termination of Spotify. It's got this old school arcade vibe, but there's a small rack with CDs, a section for records, another section for manga, merch and t-shirts in the back, and old school video games, consoles, and other stuff you can buy. There are two cabinets that allow you to pick games that you want to play, but don't take too long or you'll lose your credit. These games take quarters, so that's my gripe and what the minus one star is for. The workers here are cool and chill. There's a vending machine for snacks. I'll probably come by again one day when I'm in the area. It reminds of of the small arcades back in the day, so it's a nice trip to Nostalgia Town. There were two buddies who came in and got what sounded like was $20 worth of quarters to play. That was really awesome to hear a big chunk of quarters get dispensed. Have fun if you go!

I've bought so many games here and I've always had a great experience. The owner is super knowledgeable and has great prices. I'm always super impressed with their selection each time I visit. I've purchased about a dozen games so far and one console. I've even brought consoles for testing and he was nice enough to test them for me. Everything has been in great working condition. I've also sold games here and they always give me decent prices for them. I highly recommend this spot for video games. I always recommend it!

We have had interactions with both of them and they were equally good. We were telling Matt about how we (my son and I) were into Star Wars and have been working on light saber battles lately. Not to mention, the vibe of this place is great. When you first walk in, there's a huge section of old VHS and it looks like a living room. When you walk further in, that's where all the games and Pokemon cards are. I love that it doesn't feel cramped and it's actually a pretty decent sized store! The service has been some of my favorite. The owner and his staff are extremely kind and have never made me feel like I couldn't reach out if I had any questions. Instead of just answering, the employee immediately got irritated and told me I had "called five seconds ago." The problem is, I have never called this store in my life, and I hadn't made a phone call in several hours. When I tried to explain that, he was dismissive and acted like I was bothering him just for asking a basic inventory question. What made the interaction even stranger was how certain he was that I was supposedly the same person who had just called. It honestly made me wonder whether he was confusing me with another Asian customer, which felt pretty insulting. I call card shops regularly looking for Pokémon and One Piece products, and I've never had someone be this unnecessarily rude over such a simple question. The whole interaction was obnoxious and completely turned me off from ever visiting the store. If answering a quick inventory question is that much of an inconvenience, I'll happily spend my money somewhere else. Terrible first impression.
