I came here to this store they treated me like garbage because I wanted to buy a booster box, all the people from inside they are doing discrimination, especially the lady in the front. After she argue with me and my family she wanted me to give her my IDENTIFICATION, she treated me and my wife and 4 year old kid really bad. This place deserves to be shut down. read more

I think we've given up on this store. Staff seems to drop the customer service completely and just have no idea what's going on. We couldn't pre order a box of card that we wanted and the way they speak is very rude. The other person who tried to help is also not helpful. It seems like everyone is confused and no one takes ownership of customers service. read more

Honestly, kinda sucked. I walked in, hoping to find a dice rolling tray and dice bag. The working there was too busy playing card games to notice I was there. I called the phone number to ask if anyone worked there. That's when he stood up and checked. He said "Naw, sold out, only a couple dice bags there." And walked back to his card game. I saw a dice bag I liked...but he was gone. I left...went elsewhere. A shame, really. I've been an avid gamer for 42 years and own a small game development company. But with that "couldn't be bothered" customer service...hard pass. read more

I have been here about 4 times or so, with a couple of times just to browse around. I started collecting Lorcana with set 6 a few weeks ago and bought my first cards here. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming (great for those like me getting into a new hobby) which has been amazing. They also have individual cards for sale so I am going to get a list of cards I am missing to see what I can find here especially the older sets to catch up. Once I get more comfortable with the game aspect I plan to come occasionally on Wednesdays to play! Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and welcoming! I really appreciate it! read more

Why not offer us to allow to get another product on another drop? This isnt the only set being released! You took 90% of peoples money that paid in advance and raised THOUSANDS of dollars and I'm sure you used everyone's money, interests free to flip the product! You could of gone about it different! Instead of holding our money for 2-3months knowing your intentions was to scam us and use our money! Like I said you could have offered another product on another day/ week etc. but instead you returned the money after you made your flip! NOT COOL! Especially when you had already told me over the phone that I was getting my 1 item! read more

Very big open area for guests to play trading cards, board games, etc. They usually have some of the high-powered vintage Magic the Gathering cards I look for at good prices. I dropped by the shop tonight to pick up some Magic stuff. I stood in the shop for 20 minutes trying to get help, said excuse me, even stood by a pile of unattended cash on the counter, but no one acknowledged me. I couldn't even figure out who worked there. There was game playing going on but no one seemed interested in helping a customer. Not sure I'll ever try the place again. A shame because it looked like they had decent product. Too bad it didn't seem to be for sake. Go elsewhere if you are looking for good customer service. read more

Critical Hit Games is a very welcome addition to Corona. Before their opening in 2019, the closest game store was GMI Games in Riverside (which is a fine store in its own right). However, driving 30-plus minutes to GMI was not always ideal, so I (among others, I'm sure) was grateful when Critical Hit Games opened. Overall, I am rating Critical Hit Games this highly on the merits of the friendly ownership, the sheer square footage of gaming space, and the fact that we have a bona fide board game store in Corona! Critical Hit Games offers a separate room for private games and an ample amount of tables for casual gaming and tournaments. If it weren't for COVID, I'm sure that we would have seen more tournaments and events... The only minor critique I have is the in-store selection. I realize that it takes time (and capital) to amass a sizable stock of games for people to browse, but the rather voluminous space of the store makes the game shelves seem sparse. Of course, Darrin is more than happy to order games for customers (and he still works at conventions whenever they are open), so do not be shy to order from him. Nonetheless, I want to set expectations here: the in-store selection is just okay. With that said, what's the solution? Buy games from them! :) read more

Newer shop in the Corona area. A bit sparse on terrain and tables for mini wargaming, but plenty of tables for board games and cards. Overall, very happy with the staff. Super friendly, knowledgable. They play the games they sell and are glad to talk to anyone about anything. Would recommend! read more

My favorite board game shop. They are very friendly and offer free miniature painting classes. They also demo board games old and new so you can learn and play. There is a lot of open space for gaming, they also do tournaments for Varity of games. read more

Best game shop ever!!! They were very clean, organized, and stocked with some wonderful games and supplies for a variety of hobbies. My DnD group met up there, and they were more than accommodating to let us move tables together, use their wifi, play some soft music, and play. They were polite and accepting of our shenanigans. I would recommend this store to anyone, give them a visit! One tip about parking, there is parking available on their sides, at the back, and in the surrounding streets. read more

Spacious playing area! They're super welcoming and have events multiple times a week for demos and newbies and experienced Magic players too. We found this cozy little game shop because the owners were accommodating enough to let us meet up to play some D&D. They're just starting out, but have a nice selection of board games and will be stocking more nerdy merch soon I'm sure. It was a long shot, but I just happened to find this unpolished gem. There isn't another tabletop game store for several dozen miles! Their operation looks small for now, but the owner is passionate and enthusiastic, and makes me want to come back. He also gave me a monthly schedule for when they host tutorials and tournaments for multiple games! I found this spot to be very gamer friendly and inviting which is always welcome when looking for a local game shop. The owner is knowledgeable and it was well stocked with board games and most of the D&D core books. There was plenty of table space and seating to run some local games.
