Openly ignoring their displayed pricing being half that and refusing to acknowledge it. Double check anything you get here at the register, this is a violation of SB 478 and California CLRA and the staff doesn't care if they're violating it. Mom and I checked in yesterday to pick up an Online Order and the Store was very attractive and well presented! The Self-Pickup station did look scattered and randomly arranged instead of alphabetized which made the pickup process confusing and inefficient. The Bathrooms also were out of order so that was a little disappointing. The Store Associates were really nice and helpful in moving along the line and assisting with the Self-Checkout Computers though, and Lexi helped us find our online order with a positive and pleasant attitude which we appreciated! I am so shock to experience one employee taking care of the whole store, she was placing merchandise , taking care of questions at check out, at people questions about pricing since Michael's no longer have prices in the items, helping with ups pick ups , regular cash register , self checking stands, giving pick up orders to cutimers like my self from online shopping. An employee named 'Danny' doesn't seem to be interested in helping customers. I said "excuse me, can i ask a quick question" i was ignored. I then asked again and he turned to me without a word and raised his eyebrows. Was that my sign to leave? I asked when they'd be getting yarn in, he said "tomorrow" with an attitude. How absolutely disappointing to place an online order for balloons for a party only to show up and have nothing. They said they're online system doesn't process balloon orders accurately so if you place an order online, there's a very good chance it will not be processed and you will not know that your order was not processed until you show up! The managers answer to this problem is to order in person because the online system is simply not reliable. She stated that they could see their queue isn't working on their device but yet did not contact me that there was apparently an issue! Ordered balloons online, chose the color based on the photos. Went in to pick them up and the second set was nowhere near the color I chose. I let the manager know that the color was wrong, that I needed it fixed. She said they don't go off the color, just the skew number and since the transaction already went through there was nothing she could do. I said I needed it fixed and she did go grab the balloons but then handed me over to an associate, she was going to inflate them but said manager asked me to pay first... she said they get a lot of people unhappy that the photos online don't match what they get. Good customer service would be "I'm sorry they didn't match, let me fix that for you"... btw it was 3 balloons that were the wrong color.... Pulled up for curbside pickup and checked into a Parking Stall and waited for 20 minutes with no one coming to drop off my order. I had my son sleeping in the back seat or else I would've have just walked into the store. I called Michael's customer service and even they were not able to get in contact with this store location. My kids and I went to Michael's for their free craft event. The time stated 2pm-4pm. We got there at 3:30pm. The event appeared to have ended when we got there and my girls were pretty disappointed. Pretty average store. There was not much to choose from. They were downsizing the Christmas selection and putting it into clearance and had a lot of empty shelves. Seems as though that progress of restocking new items was a bit slow compared to other Michaels I've been to. I did need help bring something off a shelf and I could not find anyone on the floor except I saw one cashier busy at the register so I did not want to bug her. I ended up not buying anything but they did have some good Christmas clearance sales. read more

I hate to post this because the employees were so friendly and nice but this store is filthy! It looks as if it hasn't been cleaned or mopped in years. The floors and carts are covered in disgusting buildup. I went in with my 2 year old to quickly buy Velcro and leave and of course she asked to go to the restroom while we were there. The bathrooms are worse than any I've been in, including gas stations. The utility closet next to them is disgusting. There are also many messes throughout the store of products laying on the ground. This store should utilize the covid shut down as an opportunity to hire a deep cleaning company. read more

I come to this location almost weekly, but today Alex from custom framing went above and beyond with some thing she was not required to do. I was chatting with her earlier today about custom matting a few collaborative, thank you cards from special people in the community of multiple sclerosis. Her customer service is always on point. I had all of the cards in my cart heading back to my car. She called me personally from the store to let me know that she had gone out to the parking lot on our lunch break and saw that I had dropped one of them hours later and remembered my name to look up my customer profile to call me and tell me that she is saving it for me when I'm ready to pick it up. she did not have to do this. Management, please recognize Alex's wonderful customer, service, and care for her customers. She is clearly going above and beyond company expectations! Tried using my remaining balance on my gift card. The clerk and manager swiped My card and said there was no balance left. Went ahead and paid for the items and then called customer service. Customer service informed me that they needed to manually input the information on this card and that I did have a remaining balance. The manager is very rude at this store. They get 0 stars from me! The workers there are not nice people! I went to the corona store ( crossings at corona) to return a stool (with my receipt) that didn't work for my room. I told the women that my mother had bought it for me, and she called a manager. manager came and told me that she could not return my item, she could only give me store credit. My receipt was dated 6/25/19 and I was returning it 7/10/19. I took my item back home with me and the next day I called another Michaels store and talked to a manager and he said that, that's not there store policy when you have a receipt. Few days later I went to another Michaels store and there manager returned it with no problem. I will never shop at that Michaels in corona ever again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to shop there as well. I just still can't believe that they treated me that way! read more

Selection is fine, but literally THE SLOWEST LINES on the planet. Every single time I go in there's a lengthy line and only one or two cashiers. Currently I've been in line ten minutes and the only cashier is trying to get a price check and is wandering around herself to do it. Christmas time is basically like waiting at Disneyland. There were immediately some really cute Halloween things that were on a sale I could not pass up but they needed to be painted, In my opinion- So I found an employee to ask questions and while I didn't realize he was on his break, he was extremely eager to help with my questions! Which led me to buy an item over $30 and I am desperately trying to stick to a budget. lol Then I go to the awesome cashier, and while I have a 40% off coupon she says "Joannes is having a 60% off sale, so I will give you that item with this discount" Super Awesome! I like this store because everything is easy to find. They also have really good sales on their scrapbooks, silk flowers, art supplies and picture frames. You can also usually find cool stuff in their $1 bins. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they NEVER, I repeat NEVER have more than 1 cashier open...even during the Christmas rush. It's also usually very hard to find someone to actually help you. Poor customer service! Also, pay extra attention to your coupons..I think they trick you...making you think you have more time to use them, when you really don't. read more

Their sale items are always usually empty hooks or in great need of tidying up, it's anyone's guess just what exactly is a sale item or what random item was stuck on that hook. The usual mix of brand items, which always varies from store to store. I was not hit up for any loose change outside this store and no one keyed my car, so it was a good experience all in all. ADDITION: 3-5-14 : I went again today, I swear they picked up the store and moved it, or the driving directions I got this time were different. Huh.
