I stopped by this location after shopping in the nearby stores. I have a Kay Jewelers account and stopped in to see if I could get my jewelry cleaned (the jewelry was purchased from Kay). Upon entering the store the security guard sitting near the door greeted me and I walked to the checkout area. There were two women working with other guests when I arrived so I waited patiently - waiting for one of them to acknowledge me at least let me know that they see me. Joy was very helpful with helping me find out the perfect upgrade for my wedding set. I called this place and joy answered and I told her my husband wanted to get me an upgrade on my wedding ring and I needed help finding the perfect wedding set. She gave me her personal number and texted me pictures of rings that she thought I may like with the description I gave her. And when I didn't like the one she showed she continued to keep searching for me until I saw the one I was looking for the best matched my idea of a perfect ring. She even ordered it for me so that by the time they had the sell going on this Friday it would already be there along with the wedding band that I wanted with it. The sell wasn't until this Friday but we just want to the store just to look around because I was getting too excited and impatient with waiting till Friday. I also brought in the ring I had pervious and a princess cut diamond necklace I got from Jared's and Joy was able to give me some value back on the ring and the whole value back I paid for from Jared's. And she put it towards a ring that I never thought I would of gotten. But my husband and I put like the ring they had on display and decided to get that one instead of the other one I wanted perviously. I had recently gotten engaged to my fiancé and we came in to send it out to get re sized. They estimated about 2 weeks until its arrival back at the store. I called on the day it was to arrive and it didn't ( not there fault, their jeweler had many orders from the holiday season) so they told me most likely to arrive next day or following. At this point I'm a bit anxious because my engagement party is Saturday and this is Thursday when I called. Friday comes, I call and it's not their. I'm freaking out! My husband ungraded my wedding ring at this location! We had a wonderful experience ! After 2 1/2 months, I hit my hand on my car door and it sadly broke/bent my ring. I was relieved in a way as Kay Jewelers has a lifetime guarantee for their products and I was extremely thankful for that! Broken hearted, we took it back to the store. Right as I walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile! After explaining what happened, the manager Kim and his associate were so kind and quick to have it shipped out for repair, which I was completely happy about. I had an wonderful experience here. Diamond fell on my wedding band and when I went to Kay's in Ontario Mills and sales lady treated me bad said she could not find me in system and did not assist. The moment I walked in sales person Lilian was wonderful, friendly and Willy to assist. When all the sales persons heard my story they apologized and where attentive. Elian even came over to assist Lilian and inspected my ring to make sure nothing further was need and also put to inspect my ring even further when ring is being fixed. I love this store. To start with, I'm only giving one because I have to. This was the worse experience I have ever had. The time wait for having a piece worked on or sized is beyond ridiculous. The prices are even worse. I had my own stones and was charged $1600.00 for two very simple settings. When I finally got them back, I now have to find some where else to take them and have them fixed because they keep catching on everything. I'm afraid of bending the post and losing my diamonds. The worst experience I have ever had in a jewelry store! The employee that was there to assist me was not helpful and was extremely pushy. Not to mention she tried tacking on all these warranties on this piece of jewelry that I bought. I told her I do not want nothing else I just want the bracelet and that's it. She was very rude and upset once I said I do not want to purchase anything extra such as warrantees are any hidden fees. And then on top of that I go to pay and then she tax on another $.47 fee for every hundred dollars I spend and it just blew my mind because I just had told her that I do not want any extra beverages or anything like that I just want to purchase the bracelet and that's it. I asked also what was the $.47 extra added to every hundred dollars I spend. She would not find a booklet or any type of information and she just tried telling me off the top of her head what she thought it was. For something like that after I already had told her I'm good for her to just think she could add on something extra again and just have me pay for it and then I ask her to get me the fax and what is it and then she would not it just really upset me. We are shocked at the people who work here, from the get go they didn't seem to know what the hell they were doing. we went to the eastvale location on Limonite. We looked at the poor selection of men's rings they had to offer. I knew what I was looking for some I picked my ring out within 10 min. I was sized but had to order the ring, so we put a down payment. A week later the ring was in. We went to pay for the ring and pick it up. I tryd on the ring to make sure it fit right and made sure this is what I ordered. The ring was to big. The lady ordered the wrong size. I was not going to pay in full since they ruined my order. They charged us in full on accident they say. I told the lady I didn't want to pay in full because my order was wrong. They refunded us in full and said they would reorder my ring. The manager Jamie was on lunch so we were told she would call us and fix the issues. 2 days later still no call. We called the store and explained to Jamie what happened and of course she played dumb. She said she had no idea but if we wanted to cancel our order we have to go into the store. She had a really bad attitude when we wanted to cancel. How can someone be mad at us for their own mistake? Not happy at all with the people at the eastvale location. I will not recomend Kay jewelry eastvale. By far the worst experience I've had in a very long time. read more
