The shop is a little hole-in-the-wall jeweler right next to Norco's famous tobacco shop. You need to get buzzed in, which makes sense because it's a jeweler and you need to take safety precautions. The inside is simple and if you're looking for jewelry then there's quite a selection in their glass display case. My engagement ring was just a little too big but my fiancé knew that the best man for the job was Danny at Diamond Mind Jewelers. He was friendly, kept it short and sweet, and was very straightforward.We paid little to nothing to get my ring sized, which is just incredible. I was looking for a local jewelry store because he wanted me to show him a few that I liked, so he would have an idea of what to get me. I saw the Yelp received for this place so decided to stop in. I instantly fell in love with a particular ring and took a photo and sent it to him. Except I wanted a couple of things to be different. He had it custom made here and said it was a super easy experience. He also said the prices are better than anywhere else and let me tell you, the diamond is GORGEOUS!!!! I took in my deceased mother's watch to have the wind up mechanisim changed to a battery and the crystal replaced so I could wear it and feel close to her. After a year, (granted it was during covid), they finally got the crystal fixed but forgot about changing it to battery operated. Well, I left it there again for them to complete the service and THEY LOST THE WATCH! It was not an expensive watch, but extremely sentimental and I am heartbroken over this. I went in to have my engagement ring and a ring my parents had given me some time ago re-sized. It took three days to get my rings back, but it was worth the wait. They were flawless! With the ring my parents had given me, I had Danny put a completely new bottom to the ring since the metal had gotten thinner from resizing when I was younger. I accidentally bent my ring so I took it to Daniels in Dos Lagos to see if they could straighten it. The jeweler said that he couldn't straighten it and that I needed a new, I think he called it a shank or something like that. He said that he could fix it for $1,000!!!!!!!! No, I did not accidentally add an extra zero. He wanted one thousand dollars. I said ahhhh no thank you. I then took my ring to Diamond Mined Jewelers in Norco and he straightened it for next to nothing and said that if I did want to do a new shank in the future, it would be a couple hundred dollars. There are a few times in your life when a piece of jewelry is symbolic of your life. This one was my wedding set. It had been damaged and needed repair. I went to the "mall" jewelry store chain that had cared for my ring for over 20 years. Their estimate was at least $500-$900, and take 2 weeks. I was devastated. Went to this store to sell some unwanted gold that was sitting around. Mind you, this is our first time trying something like this. Had to be buzzed in to this little hole in the wall. The man that helped us seemed nice. I emptied the items i had in my bag which consisted of earrings, rings, bracelets, charms and necklaces. I was honest with him and told him that I was not sure if my earrings were pure gold. He tested a few pieces we had. He handed an eternity band I had bought on QVC and said that it wasn't real. This blew me away, because I purchased it myself and I knew it was real gold. He also handed us back a necklace, which my husband had bought me. My husband was also shocked, as he had bought the chain from a jewelry store in the mall. He walked away with my pile and went to the back of the store. He dumped ALL of my pieces on a scale and said, "you have $875 worth of gold at $18.75 a gram". He gave us the pieces back and I told him I wanted some more price quotes and thanked him. My husband asked me why he didn't bother telling us the weight and why he did not weigh it in front of us. Well, it turns out that this guy was really trying to rip us off! We went to another gold buyer and he actually tested EVERY SINGLE PIECE. He seperated our gold into 2 piles, 10kt & 14kt. The ring and necklace that we were told were not real, were indeed real gold. They also weighed the gold in front of us and told us the weight of the pile we had. We were paid $1700 for our gold at $18.75 a gram for the 14kt gold. Now, how is that possible if The Diamond Mind was paying us the same price per gram??? Total rip offs! Word to the wise....always have them weigh your gold in front of you and tell you the exact weight and price!! read more

This guy has been around Norco for a long time so that made me feel like I could trust him but i took some of my old jewelry in to sell and found out that he is just a mean man hes very snappy and left me with a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach. I handed him my chains a couple of old rings that were too small and some pendants that i just dont care for or wear anymore he took them behind the counter never telling me their weight and not seperating the 10k from the 14k he came back and asked how much you want i said im not sure, I just want the honest value. I said okay then i'll check around a few other places as I got my jewelry back he through a price at me it seemed really low plus he was so rude i didnt want to sell to him anyway, After going to another cash 4 gold location i realized not everyone does business like him they weighed my gold in front of me, showed me the exact weight for the 10 and 14k and quoted me a much higher number then him actually double right off the bat without the run around they made me feel comfortable and didnt pressure me to sell, I went to 2 other places and got quotes and all of the quotes I got were over double his.
